Rules and Restrictions
Be sure to review this information before your trip and plan accordingly. And remember that all airlines have different restrictions, so read each airline’s rules before you book a new trip.
- Max weight 8 kilos for pets traveling in cabin. Generally, in-cabin crates should be soft-sided and fit under the plane seat in front of you.
- Pets larger than 8 kilos must travel in baggage hold compartment. For cargo crates, the ASPCA says that crates should be large enough for your pet to sit, stand, and turn around in.
- Max one pet per passenger.
- Pets allowed in the main cabin: cats, dogs, and ferrets (family of mammals: weasels, polecats, ermines, and zibeline).

- EUR 30 for June 16 – Sept. 30
International flights:
- EUR 50 for Jan. 1 – June 15 & Oct. 1 – Dec. 31
- EUR 60 for June 16 – Sept. 30

- EUR 40 for Jan. 1 – June 15 & Oct. 1 – Dec. 31
- EUR 50 for June 16 – Sept. 30
International flights:
- EUR 95 for Jan. 1 – June 15 & Oct. 1 – Dec. 31
- EUR 105 for June 16 – Sept. 30

The flag carrier airline of Greece, Aegean Airlines is the largest Greek airline by total number of passengers carried, number of destinations served, and fleet size.
