No. Mustard contains mustard seeds that are unsafe for dogs. Mustard seeds have toxic compounds that can lead to gastroenteritis, the inflammation of the stomach and/or intestinal tract. If your dog simply licks a plate with mustard on it, he may have no symptoms; however, if your dog eats a large amount of mustard, be sure to call your vet.
