About: I have extensive hands-on experience caring for animals in both personal and multi-pet home environments, including dogs of all ages, temperaments, and medical needs. I’m comfortable with routine care such as feeding, walking, administering medications, and maintaining structured daily schedules. I also have experience supporting senior pets and animals with ongoing health conditions, including those requiring consistent medication timing and close monitoring. I understand that every pet has their own personality and comfort level, so I prioritize patience, routine, and clear communication to help animals feel safe and settled while their owners are away. I pay close attention to behavior changes, stress signals, and individual triggers, and adjust care accordingly. I treat every pet as if they are my own and aim to provide consistent, calm, and reliable care that reduces stress for both pets and owners. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine and I’m able to provide consistent availability around my work schedule. I work in Meridian Monday through Thursday, but I can accommodate early morning drop-ins before work as well as afternoon care visits after I’m off for the day. On Fridays, I work from home, which gives me much more flexibility for scheduling visits throughout the day. I’m also fully available on weekends, making it easy to provide more frequent check-ins, longer visits, or added flexibility as needed. Overall, my schedule allows me to be reliable and consistent during the week while offering expanded availability and responsiveness on Fridays and weekends. I provide care exclusively in my clients’ homes to ensure pets stay comfortable in their familiar environment and maintain their normal routine with minimal disruption. During visits, I follow all owner instructions closely, including feeding schedules, fresh water, litter box or potty breaks, medication administration if needed, and any specific care routines. I also spend time engaging with pets through play, companionship, and calm interaction based on their personality and comfort level. I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and wellbeing during every visit and will provide updates and photos so you can feel confident they are safe, cared for, and doing well while you’re away.

About: I have always had dogs and puppies throughout my life, and took an interest in animal care around 10 years old. I have experience with training and health-care for all ages. I have had jobs as a kennel attendant, and have volunteered with shelters for play/enrichment, and transportation to special vet trips requiring road trips to Emmett. Studied animal care during college, and have worked in healthcare for over 10 years. I am currently working a full time day job, but open to evenings and weekends. “We normally have family or a close friend to watch Logan but this time neither were available for trip we were taking. Initially it looked like I may have to stay home because I wasn’t going to leave him with someone I didn’t know or trust. Then I came across Candy’s profile and felt like she would be a good fit for us and Logan and was happy that she felt the same. Since she had never met Logan and would be staying with him for 8 days, we asked her to come over and walk him a few times prior to the day we left. I went over a lot of information with her, some of it because I’m overprotective and some of it because of his health issues. She took it all in stride and asked questions if she had concerns. She sent me pics everyday and let me know when he had tummy issues one day which thankfully turned out to be nothing. When we got home last night, Logan was excited to see us but when about things as normal, which tells me he felt at ease while we were gone. I highly recommend Candy. Had it not been for her, I would’ve either stayed home or been a wreck the entire week. We will definitely use her again for Logan. Thank you, Candy.”

“Kristi was the very best animal sitter we have ever had!!! Kristi watched our two dogs, (one elderly and the other a 10 month lab), our two cats and seven chickens for 2 weeks. At our meet and greet Kristi came in and instead of sitting on the couch, she sat our floor to be at our dogs level. As she told us about herself she showed constant attentiveness to our furry animals giving lots of pets and snuggles. Kristi is a great mix of calm, confident, intuitive and intelligent. She’s very good at her attention to detail as our animals require a little more maintenance being on a raw food diet. While we were away we received almost daily updates on how the animals were doing with cute stories and pictures. Our kitties whom rarely sleep with us, found comfort sleeping beside her which says a lot! We had a bad experience before with a different animal sitter which you think would make us feel uneasy being away for so long, but honestly we never worried when Kristi was there. We KNEW our home and animals were in the best care. After we returned home I had neighbors calling me with how impressed they were telling me how they always saw her walking our pups (even when it was super cold outside). We feel like we found a gem and feel so lucky to have found Kristi. Without a doubt I highly recommend her!”
