About: Hello! I’m Michael, lifelong fur baby lover, proud cat & dog parent, and a U.S. Army veteran. My partner and I share our home with 3 wonderful cats and one special rescue dog. My partner will not be involved with Rover, it will just be me to be transparent, but your fur babies are in good hands. Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember — I grew up surrounded by multiple cats and a dog, and as an adult I’ve had about 8 years of hands-on experience with cats and 2 years with dogs as soon as we were able to adopt our own. For the past 2 years, I’ve also provided cat sitting, dog sitting, and limited dog boarding for family members, caring for pets with unique personalities and some with special needs. I am respectful of your home and devoted to your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness — with frequent updates while you’re away. When people call me a “cat whisperer,” it’s because I take the time to truly connect with each animal. Whether it’s a shy kitty learning to trust, a high-energy pup who loves adventures, or a senior pet with specific health needs, I tailor my care to the individual. My priority is always your furry family member’s safety, comfort, and happiness — and keeping you updated with photos and messages so you have peace of mind while you’re away. My Pet Care Experience: -Special Needs Care: Experience caring for a restricted-diet cat prone to digestive issues and a timid, shy cat who needed extra patience. -Dog Boarding: Provided extended care for my in-laws’ dog, including park trips, walks, baths at home and self-wash facilities, and other enrichment activities. -Rescue & Recovery: Our own dog, Panini, was rescued from an illegal breeding facility in South Korea. She has high anxiety, previously stage 2 heartworm, and a tough past, but with extensive care and love, she’s now a happy, healthy, and thriving pup. -Comfort & Companionship: I’m skilled in helping pets feel calm, safe, and loved — even those who are typically hesitant with strangers. -Respectful Home Visits: I treat your home with the same care and respect I give your pets Meet My Furry Family: -Anri – 9-year-old female, domestic longhair black, confident and sweet; adopted from a no-kill shelter. -Artorias – 8-year-old male, domestic longhair grey, shy but loves cuddles; adopted from a low-income shelter. -Alvina – 6-year-old female, domestic shorthair tabby, rescued locally as a newborn. -Panini – 4-year-old rescue dog, likely Jindo mix, survivor of abuse and neglect; now a loyal, loving companion thanks to consistent and ongoing patience and care. -Solaire (in memory) – 1-year-old orange tabby who passed from FIP; loved walks and park time, always full of love. Services Provided: -Cat and dog drop-in visits (currently no boarding or day care in our home at the moment and open to other types of pets as well) -Dog walks, park visits, etc. -Feeding, fresh water, and clean-up (litter box, pee pads, etc.) -Playtime and exercise -Brushing/fur care -Multiple same-day visits -Administering medication (oral or topical, open to others if needed) -Additional support for pets with anxiety or special needs -Light home care while away (adjusting lights, checking doors/windows, bringing in mail/packages, watering plants as part of visit) Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions, need any clarification on anything or special requests, or would like to schedule a meet and greet! I have a flexible schedule Monday through Sunday and any time of day. Please feel free to reach out to me to discuss days and times that works best for you. I live in an apartment and have a fully fenced backyard. I cannot do any boarding or day care currently unfortunately but this might be an option in the future. Thank you for your understanding. I live in a non-smoking home and provide a lot of love and attention to our fur babies as if they are our own children. I would treat your fur babies with the same love and care as if they were my own because I know how important they are.
About: Hi! I’m excited to offer pet care in Garden City, Idaho. I’ll come to your home to let your pets out, feed them, and give them lots of attention. My husband and I have two dogs and we really love taking care of animals. We’ve pet-sat for multiple families through Rover, and you can check out our reviews. We’ve also house-sat while looking after pets in their homes through Rover. I’ve always had a passion for caring for dogs and making sure they are happy, healthy, and well-cuddled. As pet owners ourselves, we know how important it is to keep your furry friends safe, fed, and loved. We go the extra mile to make sure your pets feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. Pet care is a big part of our daily lives, and we are passionate about making sure our furry friends are happy and well-cared for. Since we work from home, my husband and I start the day by taking our pets out for a morning walk and breakfast. Throughout the day, we make sure they are comfortable and never left waiting. We also love taking our dogs hiking and on long walks along the Greenbelt, giving them plenty of exercise and adventure. In the evenings, we focus on quality time, playing games like tug of war and letting them run and explore our spacious 2-acre yard. For us, caring for pets isn’t just a responsibility—it’s a joy and an important part of our everyday routine. As an experienced pet owner, I understand how important it is for your pets to feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. In our home, every pet receives individual attention, with separate feeding and walks to make sure all their needs are met. They will have plenty of playtime with our dogs and can even join us on trips to the park for exercise and fun. We also provide cozy sleeping areas, fresh water, and nutritious meals. Regular walks, games, and mental stimulation help keep your pets happy, healthy, and relaxed while you are out of town.
“Nikki took wonderful care of Tucker. She gave daily updates, pictures and videos and I could tell he had a great time during her visits. On top of that she was very flexible with her schedule and made some accommodations which were very helpful! Will definitely be using her again”

About: Trained, fostered and rehomed puppies and older dogs for the past ten years until I fell in love with a husky rescue and next thing I know Im sometimes dog sitting 4 additional huskies for my friends along side my own. Along with my husky I have now two cats and at this point Im no longer fostering and instead just sitting and helping out. Ive also heavily worked with farm animals, especially goats, and I have many aquariums and am familiar with caring for reptiles as well. I always wanted to be a biologist and extensively studied animal behavior before realizing Id make more money as an engineer so pet sitting is how I get my animal time now Im an engineer (information security) who works from home most days. I usually use my lunch breaks and tough problems as an excuse to take the husky for a hike, or to play with the cats or husky. If your dog gets along with dogs, I love mutually burning their energy with my own at a dog park. Enrichment games like “wait and search” Ive noticed keep every dog happy. If there is a safe walking path near your house, I can easily take the pup for a jog. Your animal will be leashed and I will be watching their body language to make sure at all times they arent being stressed out by too many new things. If they have a destructive streak in them I have some games involving cardboard boxes or old toys that I found redirecting destructive dogs to can really help With cats its a tough one, I like playing with cats but Ive been around cats that very much miss their people so I clean the litter box, once over the home for any messes which I then clean, top off food and water, and then I try to see if they want to either play or at least interact. Friendlier cats I of course play with and even try to give them some enrichment, I taught my own cats to play fetch. All other pets like fish that are very sensitive to over feeding I pay very close attention to how much and how often, being aware of how easy it is to trigger a bacterial or algea bloom. On top of food I monitor sunlight and I check all terrariums and aquariums for hitchhikers (my first aquarium taught me about the dangers of dragonfly nymphs)
About: I grew up on my family's dairy farm, and I have over two decades of experience taking care of dogs, cats, livestock, and small animals. Vacationing friends and family members have requested pet sitting services from me for over 10 years, and in the past I volunteered as a dog walker for the animal shelter in Emmett. As a dogsitter, I've had experience with following strict dietary restrictions, as well as administering medications such as pills or insulin. I'm currently in my junior at BSU studying computer science and cybersecurity. My degree is fully online, and I also work remotely for 10 hours each week. This means I'm available for pet care all throughout the day, with only a few hours dedicated to meetings and other work-related tasks. I have five cats and a dog at home named Diesel, he's a black lab/border collie mix. When I first meet you and your pets, I'll get an idea of what their preferences and personalities are like. That allows me to make sure they're as comfortable as possible while you're away!
About: Hi everyone! Im Dante, a dog owner and dog lover. I've had Black labs since I was 4 years old and couldn't imagine life without dogs. Within my friends and family circles, I've been taking care of dogs from Malteses, Bernese Mountain Dogs, German Shepherds, and more. I'm new to the Boise area and figured what better way to build community than by connecting with other pet owners in the area. Your pets will receive top notch care while you're away at work or on vacation. No request is too big... trust me, my black lab, Echo, whines by a blowdryer when she's cold and wants me to "warm" her up. I work from home M-F in the cybersecurity industry so I'm around full time to oversee your pups. My calendar is flexible, so even if you are looking for someone to come by for an hour during the work day to get out some energy, I can make it happen. If possible, before committing to booking my services, I would love to come by and meet your furry friends. Every dog is different, so understanding their personalities, needs, and the way your home is set up allows me to provide you peace of mind & them, a white glove service.
About: With over 12 years of hands-on experience caring for animals of all kinds — from dogs and cats to small mammals and even primates — I bring a deep understanding of animal behavior and care that goes far beyond the basics. My background includes working in a veterinary hospital as a vet assistant, where I administered medications and supported both routine and emergency care, as well as working at a busy dog daycare and boarding facility. I currently share my life with my 12-year-old senior beagle, who I rescued after he spent 8 years in a breeding facility. Because of him, I have a soft spot for seniors and shy dogs, and I understand how to move at their pace with patience and care. Whether your pup needs an energetic group walk or a quiet one-on-one stroll, I tailor each walk to fit their personality, energy level, and comfort. You can count on me for reliability, safety, and genuine love for every animal I meet. Caring for animals is part of my everyday life! It keeps me active, grounded, and smiling! Whether it’s morning walks, afternoon playtime, or quiet check-ins with shy or senior pups. It doesn't feel like work, it's the best part of my day! When caring for pets in your home, I make sure to follow your routines closely! Whether that means regular walks, playtime, feeding, or just lots of cuddles. I treat your home and pets with the same care and respect I give my own.
