Our golden retriever has epilepsy and requires a special regimen of (a lot of) medication. They set alarms to ensure his medication was administered on time, provided updates about his behavior and food/water intake, sent pictures of him, and made us feel so at ease. It is hard to find and trust quality pet sitters in general, but especially when your fur baby has special needs. We would 1000% recommend Lisa and Matt to anyone looking for quality care. About: I am a lover of all animals, furry, feathered & scaly. Seriously, ALL animals! I’m that lady that will stop to assist a turtle crossing the road. I’ve volunteered to rescue injured birds while at the beach, saved a green anole lizard from a hard freeze, fostered close to a dozen cats til they found their fur-ever homes, rescued a baby red-eared slider turtle the size of a quarter from the middle of the road and raised him to be happy and healthy until he was big and strong enough to be safely returned to the pond. I have no fear of animals. I truly understand and listen to them and know how to read their body language. I often understand animals better than people ☺️ I will always go out of my way for animals. I’m not talking about just wanting to stop and pet every dog or cat I see and give it hugs and kisses…I definitely do! ….but truly doing whatever I can to better their lives. I got my first cat when I was 7 years old, and since then have personally rescued and loved more than 20 kitties, and 2 dogs. I’ve owned and maintained multiple freshwater aquariums. Cared for birds, lizards and snakes. I have experience with dog and cat training, solving behavioral issues, and administering medicine whether it be a pill or injections. I’m currently bartending and serving at MADE Restaurant downtown in the evenings and Sunday brunch. I’m always off Mondays and typically have mornings and afternoons Tuesday-Saturday til 2:30pm free. Drop in visits and boarding in my home are preferred but am open to staying at your home depending on the distance as I would still need to be home twice a day to feed my 3 cats. If boarding in my home, your dog must be able to be friendly and calm towards cats.

About: I have been taking care of dogs my entire life. From my families, to my neighbors and to my friends, they have all asked me for help.
