About: I have owned and cared for dogs my whole life. I also know how important it is to be able to leave my pets with someone who is caring, kind, and safe. Pets are family but sometimes we need to leave them with sitter. I will care for the pups I care for as my own. I have a fenced yard where they can play. Arlington Park a few blocks away for walks. I am recently retired RN. I wake looking forward to care for my two small dogs and am available to open our home to another small dog. I keep my boarding to a single dog or will care for two from same home. I have a complete fenced yard and will be able to crate dog if necessary. Constant care. Never leave them outside by themselves. My dogs are allowed on furniture and sleep with me. The visiting dog will be able to as well if ok with owner.
“I cannot say enough about my experience with Beth and her husband and their home, little dog and cats. I felt so at ease around their kindness. The best part is that my dog was more vibrant and playful after two days with them. They were keen to follow instructions and just be a loving presence for Zushi. That’s what we needed most! I will be booking with them again. And highly recommend them.”

About: I’ve had pets my entire life and truly understand how much they mean to a family. We’ve always had a family dog, our last one passed in 2020 after 16 years of love. I’m experienced with caring for dogs of all ages and personalities — from playful puppies to sweet seniors — and will treat your pet like part of my own family. I make sure your pet feels loved, safe, and comfortable while you’re away. Pet sitting fits perfectly into my regular routine. I’m a stay-at-home mom with a one-year-old, and we both love going on walks and spending time outdoors. Having pets around adds even more joy to our day! Your furry friend will get plenty of attention, love, and fresh air while in our care. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I only watch up to two dogs at a time, which allows me to give each pup plenty of one-on-one attention. Our home is clean, pet-friendly, and has a fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely play and explore under my constant supervision. Inside, they’ll enjoy a cozy, loving environment — just like home!
About: I may be new to Rover, but I’ve been running a “private flight crew” for dogs in my apartment community for the last three years. Now that we’ve moved into a home with a yard, I’m able to expand my guest list and offer more First-Class stays. I specialize in creating a calm, boutique boarding experience with small groups, gentle structure, and tons of personal attention. My background is in real, in-home care for dogs of all personalities — seniors, shy pups, social butterflies, and everything in between — and I focus on safe introductions, cozy routines, and individualized care so every pup feels secure and completely at home. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine — it’s part of my everyday “flight plan.” I work from home and stay hands-on throughout the day, so the pups enjoy consistent attention, yard time, play, treats, and snuggles. My husband, Riley, is also a co-pilot in our little operation, and for reasons unknown, every pup decides he’s their instant favorite — I’ve accepted it. Together we keep a calm, steady rhythm with morning potty breaks, midday activity, afternoon naps, and evening walks or yard zoomies. Because we only host a small number of dogs at a time, each pup gets the time, structure, and companionship they need to feel completely comfortable and cared for. When pups stay in our home, they live right alongside us — part of the household, never tucked away or left alone in a separate space. I tailor each dog’s care to match their routine and personality: slow introductions for shy pups, structured play for energetic guests, cozy rest areas for nappers, and plenty of enrichment throughout the day. I supervise all interactions to keep the environment peaceful and positive, and I follow your feeding, medication, and comfort instructions exactly as you share them. Riley is also involved in the day-to-day care (and yes, he somehow becomes everyone’s favorite within minutes). With only a small number of dogs at a time, we’re able to give each pup thoughtful, individualized attention and create a safe, familiar, truly home-like experience.

About: Have had dogs my whole life. When I was about three years old, I began taking care of my family dog by feeding and playing with him (Andy) regularly. I would often walk the neighbors dogs for entertainment and exercise. I used to own a disabled dog, Kaiya. I rescued her from a family home who did not have enough time to properly care for her. She had arthritis and thyroid problems. She became a therapy dog that I took to visit nursing homes for mental and emotional support for the enderly and disabled. She lived to be 16 years old before cancer took her from me. During the later years in her life, she was unable to climb stairs and was often carried up and down stairs and took daily medication. She was very happy and always mentally and physically stimulated. Currently I own a large puppy that we reduced from a shelter. I have visited and sat for dogs belonging to friends and family members. None of them died, became ill, or suffered any injuries while in my care. I have additional time for walks and visits during the holidays and my Wife is also a Rover sitter so if you need a time that is not currently listed, please do not hesitate to ask.

“Kind, conscientious, friendly, clean and safe environment. Christine booked us on a last minute notice. She took both puppies and gave them great care. We felt very grateful and relieved to leave them in her hands. Her little dog was an added blessing.”

“Charlotte (and Randy) are fantastic! We've known them as our rescue Phoebe's, doggie sitter for some time now, and have become friends. Charlotte is loving to all the dogs and Phoebe looks forward to seeing his "other family".?? We would give them 10 ? If we could!!”

“Tiffany was so amazing! We were visiting from out of town and needed someone to watch our dog for just a few hours so we could enjoy the beach. She responded right away saying she would be happy to take our dog for the day. Her property was so beautiful with a large fenced in area. Tiffany also text us updates throughout the day letting us know how he was doing. I would highly recommend her and will definitely be taking our dog back next time we visit. Thank you, Tiffany!”
“Jennifer is a very friendly dog lover, she took great care of my dog Cali while we visited Siesta Key. Jennifer was accommodating with my sometimes unpredictable schedule and kept me updated on how Cali was enjoying her day with Jennifer. I will definitely request Jennifer for our future visits to Sarasota.”

About: Hi, I am Nick, I’m a dedicated pet care professional with years of hands-on experience working with dogs and cats of all breeds and temperaments. As a kid, I worked at a Labrador retriever kennel, where I learned the basics of caring for all stages of life from puppy to adult. At home growing up, we trained guide Brittanys who were loyal and playful family dogs and a staple in my life. In college, I adopted a redbone coonhound who familiarized myself with building and maintaining a daily structure and routine as well as tending to his needs for enrichment and stimulation. Over the years, I’ve cared for many different breeds as well as plenty of cats with big personalities. I focus on making pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while keeping their routines consistent. Whether it’s walking, feeding, or giving medication, I make sure every animal gets the attention and respect they deserve. My goal is simple: treat every pet like family and give owners peace of mind knowing their companions are in good hands. Oh and lots of pictures :) I can accommodate your schedule through out the week and am completely flexible as I work from home with only one part time shift 10-2pm on Saturdays. I keep leashes secure, check gates and doors before walks, and maintain calm energy to help animals feel safe. You’ll receive clear updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing. Whether it’s an older cat or a high energy retriever, I prioritize their safety and happiness first.
Bayview dog parents share their Rover experiences
Anissa has a beautiful home, a very nice backyard for Floki to run around, she pays attention to small details about caring for the dogs. We had a meet and greet prior to leaving Floki for the evening. She took Floki on a few walks. I strongly recommend Anissa if you need a dog sitter. If I am back in town, I will definitely be using her again if she is available.!! Thank You :)! Andrew
