Our dogs loved her when they met her initially and when she came over just before we left for our trip, one in particular was hooting and hollering because he clearly was drawn to her. Kimmie followed all instructions and even contacted us with a small question which we appreciated.”

I hope for a future in animal rescue, but will settle for helping my neighbors pets in the mean time. I have a fenced yard with a large dog door for free roaming pups. I walk my dogs in the evenings when it’s cool out. The litter boxes must be changed daily with 4 kitties running the house. I will show your home the same respect I require in mine.

About: I have trained puppies, I also have a senior dog that has arthritis that I make special food for. I have taken care of animals with anxiety and seizures that require medication. I am currently not working so I have plenty of time to play and go for walks. I am available every day but Sunday and can stay overnight. I find it’s easier on the pets to watch them in their own home so they are surrounded by their owner’s smell and in their comfort zone so that it lessens their stress while their family is away.

If your pet needs more frequent bathroom breaks, extra exercise, or just a little reassurance and companionship, I’m able to respond right away instead of sticking to a strict timetable and I can easily monitor changes in behavior or health. My daily routine may be full, but it’s adaptable—and that makes all the difference in giving pets the individualized attention they deserve. In my home, pets are welcomed into a calm, supervised environment where they can relax and follow a consistent routine. When caring for your pets at your home, I focus on maintaining their familiar routine—feeding, walks, playtime, and any special needs—so they feel comfortable and secure. About: I grew up with pets and they’ve always been part of my life. I’ve had hamsters, mice, chickens, bunnies, ducks, birds, fish, turtles, guinea pigs and of course dogs and cats. I’m definitely a dog lover, and as an adult I have gained plenty of experience pet sitting and caring for dogs, specially small breeds. I cared for my older baby (Shih-Tzu) with medical needs for many years, and in the process learned a lot about dog care and how to tell when they aren’t feeling well or something is going on. I’ve cared for dogs of friends and family who have full confidence and trust that their babies will be loved, taken care of and even spoiled when they’re under my watch. I’m currently in the process of changing career paths, and have flexibility to do boarding, drop-in visits and house sitting on most weekends and potentially some week days. The house will be dog proofed. I’m aware of things dogs can eat that will make them sick or could be damaging for their health, so those foods/items will be unreachable for dogs. They will have a good sized backyard to go out for potty breaks and play. My community has very nice and safe walking trails for dogs that need walks. If/as requested dogs can be crated but they won’t be crated otherwise. I love cuddling with my dogs so I allow them on the bed and occasionally on living room furniture. They sleep on my bed unless requested to sleep in their own bed.

I usually am busy from the hours of 10am-2pm (changes daily) but outside of those hours, I am free to help out where ever you need! I have a fenced yard and my roommate has 1-2 friendly dogs (depends if her boyfriend’s dog tags along); however, she is rarely home and the dogs leave with her. When she is home, I help out with her dogs.
