âJordan went above and beyond to make our cats and parrots comfortable. It was such a relief to know someone was looking in on them and giving them some attention while we were gone!â

âThis was our first time using Virginia to watch our 3 cats. We appreciate her willingness to stop by for a meet and greet before booking. We have two kitties on meds and one who is very shy, so it was important to us to meet her and have her meet the cats beforehand. In watching our cats, she was communicative, provided pics and took the time to play with them. We're glad to have found her!â

âAshley (Cash) was awesome! She did an exceptional job with our three fur babies that can be hard to handle sometimes! But they all loved her! She did a very good job at keeping us updated with our babies and sent plenty of pictures! We look forward to reusing her again in the future!â

âOnce again Mia helped us feel stress free with how she takes care of our babies. Sheâs does a report after every check in and is super communicative. Thanks again!â

âVictoria did an amazing job with our pets - especially our dog who needs a bit of extra care and patience. She was flexible and great with communication! We were very grateful for her help đâ

âKellie was absolutely phenomenal. The moment Kellie came over to meet my pets, a good two weeks before my travel, I knew my fur babies would be in trustworthy, caring and knowledgeable hands. Kellie made sure she understood the needs of both my animals and understood what was needed to make sure they felt safe and loved in my absence. Kelli checked in with me multiples times a day, letting me know what was going on. She also went above and beyond what was required of her, from making sure my garbage cans were on the curb for pick-up day to watering my plants. If you are on the fence with using Rover to care for your pets while you are traveling or at work, I get it. I was too, but rest assured that will Kellie your cherished fur babies are safe and taken care of, and your home is not at risk.â

âMell did an excellent job again taking care of my cat with daily drop in visits over 10 days. She is very detail oriented and tells me when she notices anything different with my cat. Goldie says see you soon!â

âJackeline was so great. She took amazing care of our sweet pup, had clear communication, and even changed her schedule to fit in an extra unplanned visit. I would definitely hire her again to take care our our pup.â

âVery great caregiver! Andrea was very responsive and she took great care of my dogs. She took awesome photos and kept me up to date every step of the way. Ill definitely be rehiring her again!â

âBrenda was great with our little dachshund, Luna. She was never late, matter of fact she was always a bit early. She worked with us when we were having issues with our alarm system and was always very responsive. This was our first time using the rover app and we had a very positive experience. Weâll definitely be booking with Brenda again in the future when we need it.â

About: I'm a veterinary technician, I have 20 yrs experience in taking care of dogs and cats. I am CPR certified and I can administer medications if needed. Besides my medical background as a animal lover, I can offer great companionship to your best friend while your gone. I currently have a 7 month old Australian shepherd who loves to play and can also offer friendship. I've been taking care of my friends and family's pets while they go on vacation since I was 19 yrs old. I'm confident in my ability to take care of dogs. I'm currently not working and staying home with our kids and animals. I walk our dog in the morning then hang out the rest of the day, my kids play with our dog. I live on 5 acres but we have fenced off an area behind our house for our dog and goats. I have a plastic kid pool to help them stay cool in the summer. I typically feed my pets twice a day and a treat mid-day. My house can get pretty loud with my kids yell and screaming when then play. My kids are 10 yr (son) and 9 yrs(daughter) old, I have a husband who loves to play with the kids and dog, it can get a little crazy at our house. I also have a 7 month old mini Australian shepherd, she is a shy girl at first but then gets crazy when she decides she likes you. I have 5 cats some like dogs and some tolerate them and just judge. I also have 2 goats in the backyard, they are very nice but will give a warning if something happens that they don't like. All my pets have vaccines and have been dewormed.
âI appreciate the help I have received since July 2025 with the drop ins for my fur babies to go potty. With out Tinisha's acceptance I would not have been able to start my new job. Lots of hugs and thank you!â

âLillian (Ruthie) took great care of our pup. She kept us updated with how our pup was doing and sent lots of pictures. We were really happy with how she took care of our dog and followed our instructions. We will definitely work with her again. Thank you!â

About: Hi! I love meeting new animals and getting to know their unique personalities. Every pet is different, and I enjoy learning what makes each one feel comfortable, happy, and safe. For the past three years Iâve been actively working on training my own dog, which has helped me learn a lot about patience, communication, and understanding animal behavior. That experience has made me even more passionate about caring for animals and helping them feel supported in new environments. I love helping animals and figuring out what works best for themâwhether thatâs playtime, a relaxing walk, or just a calm place to rest. My goal is always to make pets feel secure and cared for while their owners are away. My schedule is flexible, which allows me to give pets lots of attention throughout the day. Iâm available most weekdays and weekends and can accommodate regular walks, drop-ins, or sitting. I always aim to follow your petâs normal routine and provide updates during visits. Your petâs safety and comfort are very important to me. I take time to understand each animalâs routine and personality so they feel secure and relaxed. I use safe handling practices, supervise pets closely, and maintain a calm environment. Iâm also happy to send updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands.
About: I have trained puppies, I also have a senior dog that has arthritis that I make special food for. I have taken care of animals with anxiety and seizures that require medication. I am currently not working so I have plenty of time to play and go for walks. I am available every day but Sunday and can stay overnight. I find itâs easier on the pets to watch them in their own home so they are surrounded by their ownerâs smell and in their comfort zone so that it lessens their stress while their family is away.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your catsâ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, donât forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justiceâs National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Roverâs commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Beyersville. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
