About: I have recent hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds, and temperaments in professional settings. I also have a lifetime of experience as a dog and cat owner and lover! As a doggy daycare employee, I've safely managed groups of dogs in daycare, supervised structured play, monitored body language to prevent conflicts, and provided individualized care based on each dog's needs and personality. I also work as a dog handler for a professional goose management company, where I handle border collies in outdoor environments while maintaining focus, safety, and reliable leash skills around wildlife, distractions, and changing conditions. This work has strengthened my confidence handling energetic working dogs in public spaces. My experience includes: - Supervising group play and monitoring canine body language - Individual walks and exercise - Feeding, fresh water, and medication support with instructions - Cleaning kennels and maintaining a safe, sanitary environment - Crate rotations and rest breaks - Reinforcing good manners with positive interactions - Caring for puppies, senior dogs, and high-energy breeds I love every dog like it is my own and am ready to take care of your loved one when needed! My schedule is generally very flexible! I do have a few shorter recurring commitments during the weekdays, but I have availability before and after them, as well as on evenings and weekends. I always try to keep pets on the routine they're most comfortable with. Whether I'm in your home or caring for your pet during a walk or drop-in visit, I'll follow your instructions for feeding, medications, potty breaks, exercise, and any special needs or preferences. I believe consistency helps pets feel safe and relaxed while you're away. My professional experience in dog daycare has taught me to pay close attention to body language, energy levels, and individual personalities. Some dogs want to play nonstop, while others just want a calm companion and a good walk. I'm comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and I'll make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, enrichment, and affection while also keeping safety my top priority. I'll also send regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands.

Before we left, I was very worried about being away from them because our cats are such an important part of our family. Abbey made it so much easier for us to relax and enjoy our vacation knowing they were in such good hands. She communicated exceptionally well, providing updates after every visit along with pictures and videos of our cats. Seeing them and knowing how they were doing gave us tremendous peace of mind. She also kept their litter boxes clean, made sure they had fresh water and their food was full, made sure they had treats, and clearly gave them plenty of attention and care. What truly stood out was how she went above and beyond. We have an outdoor cat who would greet her every day and was always very vocal when she arrived. One day he didn't show up when she arrived. Concerned, Abbey spent time looking around for him but couldn't find him. Even though she wasn't scheduled to come the next day, she returned the next day specifically to check on him. Thankfully, he was there waiting to greet her, and knowing that she cared enough to come back and make sure he was okay meant so much to us.   Abbey is kind, dependable, caring, and truly treats your pets as if they were her own. We would absolutely use her again for future vacations and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone they can trust to care for their cats. She is wonderful! 🐾❤️”
