About: I have recent hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds, and temperaments in professional settings. I also have a lifetime of experience as a dog and cat owner and lover! As a doggy daycare employee, I've safely managed groups of dogs in daycare, supervised structured play, monitored body language to prevent conflicts, and provided individualized care based on each dog's needs and personality. I also work as a dog handler for a professional goose management company, where I handle border collies in outdoor environments while maintaining focus, safety, and reliable leash skills around wildlife, distractions, and changing conditions. This work has strengthened my confidence handling energetic working dogs in public spaces. I am currently starting my career in zookeeping, where I'm developing my knowledge of animal welfare, enrichment, and positive reinforcement training. About: I have had both dogs and cats in my life and I currently have 3 cats; Olive, Theo and Addy. I look forward to getting to know your little buddies and forming a relationship that offers the fun and familiarity that matters so much when your people are away. I recently finished my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and am doing some petsitting while I look for a permanent position. I will likely keep doing it in some capacity once I find one, just because I really enjoy meeting new furry friends :) I cannot offer boarding currently, however, I am happy to visit your pets in your home or take them out for a walk. I love to give pets the attention they deserve and form a new friendship with each creature I have the privilege of caring for.
