10. Joe P.
About: In addition to dogs and cats, I love and have cared for many animals my entire life. I grew up caring for the family cat, dog sitting for friends and family, and working for the Prospect Park Zoo in NYC. As an adult I've volunteered for multiple animal shelters, and now care for my own baby Tortoise. As someone with a pet myself, I know how important it is that your sitter adores and respects your animals' needs. I prioritize your animal's health, safety, and happiness! I am a graduate student, giving me a pretty flexible schedule! I am typically completely free Thursday through Sunday. Drop off visits are possible Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, especially in the mornings or later at night. Making sure pets get the attention they need is a top priority for me. Being a student, writer, and researcher, I work mostly at home. This allows me to spend additional time hanging out with those pets that enjoy some human company. I also love hiking, walking, and spending time outdoors. So if your pup needs to get some energy out in the woods, I'll be more than happy to be their guide! I can house small pets for a night or two - I live in a ~700 square foot apartment with a balcony and ample access to the outdoors. But someone cannot always be home, so cats and independent small dogs are preferred.

About: NYS Scuffle Certified™️ and NAPPS Certified™️! As a former doggy daycare worker, I left that business once I had the knowledge and expertise to do this full time with my partner Christopher. We both love animals and have had pets our whole lives and decided to take it to the next level- 24/7 care of dogs! I have over two years experience working in doggy daycares, and have volunteered at many pet shelters. He has been on Rover for eight years and loves animals. I work daily with pet trainers, vets, dog behavior specialists, and know a lot about canine and feline health and nutrition! We can house up to six dogs at once and believe in complete transparency and communication and trust! We are home at all times and prompt to respond- Ask any questions you please :) The two of us have plenty of time to spend with your pups and kittens. Christopher is home 24/7 and all my free time is spent at home! I make sure to give plenty of potty breaks and walks as needed, and a lap to cuddle on! I have a fenced in yard, spacious house, and safe neighborhood for visiting pets. With crates already installed in house, and plenty of toys, your pet will have a guaranteed happy time!

About: I've taken care of dogs my whole life . 30 + years. I currently have a 3 yr old Scottish terrier who gets lots of walks & exercise daily. Family & Friends always rely on me to help take care of their fur babies! A walk a day will keep the vet away for your babies ! My schedule is flexible for dog walking rain or shine ! I can come morning & late afternoon/ evening. I like to make sure a pet gets a well timed lengthy walk with attention. 😁 I treat any dog like my own. Lots of TLC & attention. I like to establish trust with the dog and build off that !

I can give references on request. I am very good at catering to each individual pets news I am also very good at telling if a pet is acting strangely. If you want someone who will treat your pet like family look no further.

15. Jayden K.
“Jayden is such a great pet caregiver! I work as a teacher and I am gone for a majority of the day, but I always felt good because I knew that my dog, Ollie, was in great hands. She would take him on long walks, making sure he gets plenty of exercise. She would always give him water and treats and lots of belly rubs. Ollie loves seeing Jayden and he always greets her with a smile! I have no doubt in my mind that Jayden is a great fit for Rover and will deliver the very best love and care for all pets.”

16. Stacey P.
“Stacey loves animals of all kinds; she takes very good care of them and their needs. I have had her watch my 2 dogs and I was very comfortable leaving them with her over a period of days and nights. The dogs love to be with her also. I would have no problem leaving them with her again.”

17. Brian L.

“Brian was great! I really trusted him to take the best care of Slinky. They're now best friends after this week.”

18. Alyssa E.
“I would highly recomend Alyssa for your pet sitting needs. She has taken care of my dogs, cats and horses several times over the last summer and fall. The animals love her. She punctual and takes the time to call you if there are any questions. She confirms the dates and times and when my Mother got sick out of state she was able to take care of my pets on short notice. I will be using her again this summer. Carol D.”

19. Cayden S.
“Cayden and I have been friends and coworkers for years. She goes out of her way to make sure that the pet that she is taking care of, is taken care of to the fullest extent. I only trust her to watch my two dogs, since she is great with them and makes sure that they are getting enough play time and getting fed. Working with Cayden I have seen her work in stressful situations, with many different dog breeds, and dogs that have special dietary, medicine and certain handling needs all with ease and without an issue. I highly recommend hiring her to watch your dog.”

20. Kaylee M.
About: Hello, my name is Kaylee. I am new to rover but not new to pet sitting. I have been cat sitting for a family for 7 years and dog sitting/ house sitting for people for about 5 years. I have met some great people and pets along the way. I work until 4:30 most days and I am free on most weekends. I am available to check in on animals on weekends and weekdays after 4:30! I prefer to care for pets in the client's home but I would be open to caring for small pets in my home if needed.
