About: I've been an animal lover for as long as I can remember, and gained a lot of experience caring for my own family pets, then started pet sitting and working with horses as a teenager. After spending most of young adult life working with horses, I went back to college to get a degree that would allow me to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician. I worked in companion animal (dogs and cats) practice for a number of years before taking a "real" job that allowed me more time for my own pets. I've found I love my new job and schedule, but miss having as much animal interaction. I'd be delighted to provide care for your dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs (and other pocket pets) as well as horses and other large animals.

About: Hello, my name is Kaylee. I am new to rover but not new to pet sitting. I have been cat sitting for a family for 7 years and dog sitting/ house sitting for people for about 5 years. I have met some great people and pets along the way. I work until 4:30 most days and I am free on most weekends. I am available to check in on animals on weekends and weekdays after 4:30! I prefer to care for pets in the client's home but I would be open to caring for small pets in my home if needed.

About: I’ve been around pets since I was born and am great with all animals. I love to take care of them and take them on walks and my friends have relied on me to take care of their dogs when they were busy at school My schedule is different each week but I am great at managing my time and have many days where I can take care of any pet or fit in a walk on my busier days. I have a huge yard, pet friendly home, a dog pen, and will walk your dog everyday. I will make sure they get lots of love, food when needed, and follow any guidelines in your house

About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was five years old and continued to get more dogs. I have dog sat for multiple friends and family rating from dogs and cats. As far as training animals, I did grow up with having to train them so I do have some experience. I am currently working part time and go to community college but will be able to manage and work out a schedule that will be accommodating. I have 3 dogs that have invisible fences outside so they can roam free without getting lost, going to the road, running off. I have a big yard surrounding my house so they are used to running around freely. When it gets too cold they come in to the house or garage with my father. I am used to walking dogs as they do get walked on occasion at home or if we have them out of the house. I do not off offer services that welcome pets into my house but I am accommodating as necessary and will offer services at your residency.

About: I’ve owned dogs ever since I was 8, and I’ve always loved and cared for them with no question. I love to feed, walk, bathe, and just hangout with dogs. Can’t wait to meet all of your pups!!! I’m currently a full time online college student that sets her own schedule! I am pretty open and free all day to hangout with pups! I have a large fenced yard and I always bring running shoes because I know some dogs love to play! And some even love to try and make escapes, which is why I’ll always have treats and commands ready!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I could remember. I love them so much. Everyone calls me the dog whisperer whenever they need a helping hand with their fur babies. I do charge an additional fee for gas, due to gas prices being so high and the high intake I receive from my guests. I currently work part time but I’m available usually after 9am throughout the week. I do work weekends usually but I can be flexible with stopping in the morning and evenings times for your fur babies. I am temporarily in a transition moving right now, for the Army National Guard. I am living at Home until I receive my new orders. So I will come to you for any of your visits you need for your fur babies!

About: I don’t have specific set of skills other than the fact that I am a dog mom. My dogs are my world and my main priority. I have a lot of love to give and I think animals deserve it the most. I will make myself available to be with your pet as much as needed and wanted by the client. My pets are my world and are considered each day when it comes to giving them the best life possible. I’m 44 years old with an older son who is 28. So for people my age who normally have small children I have my 2 dogs and my 2 cats. They are my children My animals are always considered in any and all plans that I may have. They are my top priority and your animal would be no different. I am a nurturer by nature. When I was in need of dog sitter Rover provided me with someone who took care of and loved my dogs just as much as I did. It motivated me to want to be that person for other people. I will love and spoil your animal as if they were my own. Allowing you to leave them knowing they are being well taken care of. I have a fully fenced in yard and I would make any special arrangements as far as feeding, crating etc that would be needed for your animal.

About: Hi! I’m Kasey. I have lot of experience with dogs with special needs, reactive / aggressive dogs, all sorts of breeds and sizes, etc. I used to train hunting dogs from 17’-18’. I also have plenty of experience with cats, birds, reptiles, fish and small mammals. I have been working as a sitter since 2017 & have acquired over 75 repeat clients, on AND off of Rover. I am patient, reliable and am very transparent and honest with the care that i will provide for your fur baby(s). I am currently unable to stay full time during the day or overnights, BUT am able to stop by for a few hours early in the AM / and again in the PM. Sometimes i will also be able to stop midday. I will make sure your fur babies still get the care & attention they need during each visit. You can expect to have your pets and home treated as if they were my own. In your home you can trust and i will look after it and lock up when I’m not there. I will treat your home like my own as well and will always leave it in better condition than when I came. You can expect LOTS of pictures sent to you while I’m with your pets! You can reach out to me at any point during our booking for any reassurance, or any questions you may have. I will provide your pets with the best possible care they can get!

About: My name is Kylie and I’ve always had such a strong passion for animals. I’m currently in school to be a licensed veterinary technician. While I pursue this, I also work full time in an animal emergency clinic. I have had 2+ years of animal emergency experience, including large dogs and cats, and even reptiles like snakes! I am comfortable pilling animals and have direct access to emergency care 24/7 in case your fur babies need it❤️. I currently own 2 cats of my own and a ball python. I’ve owned large dogs my whole life including a Cane Corso & Giant Schnauzer! I currently work full time in the animal emergency clinic. My schedule is Tuesday 11a-11p - Friday 7a-7p - Saturday 1p-1a and I do pick up shifts here and there. With this being said, I can come by before and/or after my shifts. I am currently not accepting boarding as my current living situation is not feasible for more animals than I currently own. I can care for pets in your home!

About: I grew up taking care of dogs since I was a child and treat them like family. I'm not able to have a pet at my current apartment so I'm looking to share my love, care, and affection with your fur babies while you feel comfortable and secure knowing they are with a sitter that genuinely cares about them and their well being. My schedule is rather flexible at this time in my life due to changes. I am looking for clients mostly in the Guilderland/ Colonie area due to certain transportation restrictions, but I am mobile locally. I am exceptionally good at reading body language on animals. About: In addition to dogs and cats, I love and have cared for many animals my entire life. I grew up caring for the family cat, dog sitting for friends and family, and working for the Prospect Park Zoo in NYC. As an adult I've volunteered for multiple animal shelters, and now care for my own baby Tortoise. As someone with a pet myself, I know how important it is that your sitter adores and respects your animals' needs. I prioritize your animal's health, safety, and happiness! I am a graduate student, giving me a pretty flexible schedule! I am typically completely free Thursday through Sunday. Drop off visits are possible Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, especially in the mornings or later at night. Making sure pets get the attention they need is a top priority for me. Being a student, writer, and researcher, I work mostly at home. This allows me to spend additional time hanging out with those pets that enjoy some human company. I also love hiking, walking, and spending time outdoors. So if your pup needs to get some energy out in the woods, I'll be more than happy to be their guide! I can house small pets for a night or two - I live in a ~700 square foot apartment with a balcony and ample access to the outdoors. But someone cannot always be home, so cats and independent small dogs are preferred.
