About: I had over ten dogs growing up, both large and small, and have had three cats. All have lived to an old age and had a wonderful quality of life! I work from 7am-3pm Monday-Friday with occasional work from homes, so I can provide pet care in the early morning and/or afternoon/evening! On weekends, I am flexible! I focus on building trust and affection with pets, ensuring play time and pets are on their terms, giving space as needed! I am big on safety and keeping a watchful eye on them.

I’m mindful of introductions (if other pets are present), keep the space clean and secure, and make sure every dog has a comfortable area to rest and relax. In Your Home: When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their usual routine to reduce stress. I stick closely to feeding times, walks, and preferred activities. I also respect your home by keeping things tidy, bringing in mail if requested, and ensuring everything is secure before I leave. My goal is to make your absence feel as smooth and normal as possible for your pet. For both services, I prioritize safety, communication, and regular photo updates so you always know how your pet is doing. “Kathryn was amazing. Prior to her first stay with our puppies she came to the house to meet with us and the dogs. The dogs loved her! She is a genuine animal lover. She stayed several days at the house and sent so many nice pictures and videos of the dogs enjoying her stay. It was so nice to go out of town and not worry. She took excellent care of them and treated them as if they were her own. Even brought her pups to the house for some playtime to wear out the puppy. We would 1000% use Kathryn whenever she is available. While she stay with our dogs, she also watched my Mom's cat down the street. My mom was thrilled with all the pictures and updates. Her cat is not fond of very many people and my Mom was so happy to see him interact with Kathryn. She did an amazing job.”

About: I've had pets in the past and love caring for them and playing with them. Grew up with a cat, had a dog and coserved a cat with my wife. Because we may move some time internationally, we haven't wanted to make a long term commitment, be we would love to be grandpetparents where we help out by babysitting while people need to travel pet free for a short time. I work full time but from home several days a week. My son, who loves animals will be around on days I am not at home. We would welcome any pets as part of the family. They can cuddle with us on the couch and play out in the yard or chill on our screened in porch. Unfortunately, we cant care forndigs for more than 5 or 6 days as we arent physically able to care for them.

Over the years, I have owned and cared for many different types of animals, including Pit Bulls, Yorkshire Terriers, German Shepherds, Bulldogs, Shar-Peis, mixed-breed dogs, cats and kittens, turtles, rabbits, and chickens. Through this experience, I have learned how to understand different temperaments, provide daily care, maintain feeding schedules, exercise pets, and ensure they feel safe and comfortable. I am patient, responsible, and genuinely love animals. I understand that every pet has unique needs, and I am committed to treating them with the same care and attention that I give my own pets. I have a flexible schedule while attending university, with plenty of availability to dedicate time and attention to the pets in my care. My classes are mostly concentrated during the late morning and early afternoon, so I am generally available in the mornings, evenings, and on weekends, with additional flexibility on days when I have fewer classes. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, daycare, and boarding, and I’m happy to work around each pet’s individual routine and needs. I understand how important consistency is for pets, and I always do my best to provide reliable, attentive, and loving care. I live in a pet-friendly home with no other pets, which allows me to provide focused attention and a calm environment. My home has a living area, kitchen, bathroom, and multiple rooms, giving pets space to relax and feel comfortable. While there is not a fenced yard, there is plenty of outdoor space nearby for leashed walks, and a park is located close to my home for additional exercise and enrichment. When caring for pets, I prioritize safety, follow the owner's instructions carefully, maintain regular feeding and potty schedules, and make sure pets always feel secure, comfortable, and well cared for.
