About: I have worked for 11 years in the dog/cat industry with one of the largest kennels in St. Louis. I started out as a runner and worked my way up t Facility Manager. I also worked in our grooming department providing baths, nail clipping/filing, teeth brushing and light trimming of sone dog furnishings. I have handled numerous breeds and sizes. I currently have three dogs; Charlotte a 12 year old Beagle, Homer a 6 year old Beagle/Coonhound, Eugene a 1 year old Beagle/American Foxhound. We also have Jager, my 4 year old Black Lab grandpup. I am an early riser and my dog’s day starts early as well. They have a regular schedule eating and potty time. They also attend a local Day Camp for weekly play with other pups. I am able to leave them at home for several hours a day. I am not currently offering pet care in my home. However, I respect another person’s home as if it were my own. I ask that the client has an assigned location for all pet walking needs as well as a location for drop in needs such as food and treats. If a pet has had any potty accidents inside the home, I will definitely clean up any “ accidents “ that I should come into.

About: Hi there! I’ve volunteered at animal shelters and have been around cats/dogs my whole life, from puppies and kittens to senior dogs and cats! I currently have a dog and a puppy of my own. About: I have trained puppies, designed programs to solve behavior problems in adult dogs, cared for senior dogs, specializing in multi-dog households with a mix of all the above. I am currently designing software for a start-up idea so my schedule is very flexible. Ideal hours for day visits are between 8am - 9pm, overnight from 7pm - 9am “ish” and always available for emergencies. Different pets have different wants/needs so I will adapt my gameplan accordingly. Each visit will include some form of exercise, training and lots of love. My yard is fenced and my house is puppy-proofed. Lots of soft and shaded places to nap, inside and out. About: I have been taking care of sweet, precious pups since I was 7 years old when my mom surprised me and my brother with a basset hound puppy after school. Her name was Roxanne. A couple years later, we rescued a 6-year-old basset hound, Brandi, and a few years later, we rescued a 1-year-old beagle mix, Misty, and adopted a basset hound puppy, Willow, who had just been born on a farm near our house. We treasured our sweet babies, cooking for them every day - hard-boiled eggs for breakfast and meat and veggies for dinner. And they lived long, happy lives. Brandi, Misty, and Willow all made it to about 15 years old! I just moved from Colorado to start my PhD in Public Health at WashU, and I can't wait to pick back up with dog sitting again! In Colorado, I was the honorary dog sitter at my church. One couple even flew me out to California a few times to continue caring for their sweet pup after they moved! Between my own dogs and others' dogs, I've taken care of dogs of all ages, from puppies to seniors who need lots of support. I am a PhD student at WashU Bursky School of Public Health. This semester, I have a class on the Danforth campus on Tuesdays from 9am to 12pm, Wednesdays from 12pm-1pm, and Thursdays from 1pm-4pm. My research is remote. So, I have lots of flexibility to make sure your pups get their potty breaks and play time and walk time, even on days that I have class. And house sitting would work super well :) I am offering house sitting, check-ins, and walks. If I am house sitting, I will always stay the night to make sure your pets are safe and well taken care of. I will keep the outer doors locked and make sure I am able to hear your pets if they need me. I am also happy to sleep in the same room with them if that is your preference. I will make sure to follow whatever schedule your pets need, e.g., eating, medicine, walking. As far as check-ins and walks, I will make sure to respect whatever rules you have for the house (e.g., shoes off, doors locked). I'm also happy to give your dogs a bath when they need it!

sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
