About: I love all breeds of dogs. I used to walk my neighbors doggies for fun when I was little. I've house sat for many friends with animals & plants for long periods of time. I've raised many puppies in my life time. I have two of my own that are now 2 and 5. They're everything to me. There's absolutely no better feeling than hearing the pitter patter of their feet on the floor as they're coming to attack me with love and kisses. I've never been without at least one dog in my household as long as I've been alive and I wouldn't have it any other way. I've also played sports my whole life so I love being active and playing games with the pups. I'm currently working part time so my availability is pretty open for the most part right now. Walks, games, positive reinforcement training and mental exercise are all included in my time. I'm a creature of routine. My house gets up at 6am sharp. We like structure and in the dog world, you can't function without it. I used to work for a dog daycare and because I feel so strongly about the safety of dogs, I'd prefer small, safe groups over large groups that are no good for your dogs health. Growing up by a dirt road in Alabama ,I always made sure to care for and find homes for them while also having our own, I’ve taken college corses on training dogs although didn’t finish due to becoming a mother. About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was a little girl and to this day I rescue animals or I give them a safe home until I can find there forever homes. About: I am a dog lover with grown children just 10 minutes from Lambert Airport. Your dogs will have free reign of the fenced yard and home. I have baby gates strategically placed in case we would need to separate them yet still have the enjoyment of family life. I have a large kennel available for comfort at night and when I am away if they prefer. Your dog can enjoy walks to the park for exercise and boredom busting or running if they prefer to stretch there legs (I am up to about 3 miles running). I also keep a kiddie pool full of clean water for the dogs who like to splash and cool off. I have 2 friendly dogs myself who are always up to having company. My 19 year old daughter also lives in the house, she is also a dog lover and has gone to training classes at the human society. She enjoys training dogs and teaching the dogs sign language. About this sitter: Mom to 2 grown children and 2 furbabies. I do work full time remotely at home. I volunteer with Special Olympics and St. Louis Track Club. I enjoy gardening and walking with my dogs. Why I love dog sitting I have always loved dogs it was not until I was 13y.o. when we came across a dog that was going to be shot because he did not want any females that we convinced my Dad we needed to save that dog. That was 46 years ago. Since then I have had one-three dogs in my home ever since. They are family.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since 2008. I taught our miniature pincer and chihuahua mix named Rosie how to sit, jump, and rollover. My present-day dog named Bunny, she is the sweetest dog in town. I’ve taught her how to low-five for treats, lay on my legs during Sunday naps, and keep to herself on walks (she’s a very social dog). Wake up, let the dog(s) out, feed them breakfast, and wipe their feet if it is muddy out. Let them out during lunch and feed them lunch, then let them out again after work (4pm). Feed them dinner, then let them out again around 9pm before bed. I work from home full-time, so these tasks are consistently met. In my own home, I stick to the schedule outlined above. In somebody else’s home, I would also stick to a schedule that has been provided by the owner.
