About: If you don't see many photos of me with my pets, it's because they're the cuties and they deserve their own selfies. (Its also because I forget to take photos instead of videos 😅) I’ve lived with both dogs and cats, so I’m familiar with the basics of daily pet care; feeding, walks, bathroom breaks, litter box cleaning, and keeping things tidy. While I haven’t done professional pet sitting long, I’m dependable, respectful of your space, and genuinely care about keeping your pet comfortable and happy while you’re away. I follow instructions carefully and always do my best to make sure pets feel safe, cared for, and calm in their routine. I'm currently a part-time manager at a clothing store, which gives me a flexible schedule especially in the mornings and early afternoons. I'm not in school right now, so I have more free time during the week and weekends. I love starting my day early and can be available for drop-ins, walks, and check-ins most mornings, with some afternoon and evening availability depending on the day. I’ll always do my best to work around your pet’s routine! Whether I’m caring for pets in your home or mine, I make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and respected. I follow all instructions carefully, keep a clean environment, and pay attention to your pet’s cues and needs. I take time to build trust, especially with shy or nervous pets, and aim to make every visit calm and low-stress. I always treat your home and pets with care as if they were my own.

About: I've raised kittens and puppies through adulthood for over two decades, giving them engaging and fulfilling lives. I have a passion for giving pets interactive and full lives and want to give my time and share my home with yours. I work remotely, so can provide potty breaks and walks as needed. I know how it feels when I'm unavailable for my fur kids and will care for yours as you wish.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and I’m one of those people that dogs like right away- even unfriendly dogs! I work from home a lot and make my own schedule for work, so I can easily keep your pupp entertained. I live alone and my dog is currently with my ex out of state, but I’m considering bringing him here. I have a truck and can take your dog on hikes and to dog parks if you’d like. I’m at home at least half the time and when I leave for work, it’s only for a few hours at the most. Having a dog around will keep me active and won’t hinder my work at all. My apartment has a dog park and I love going on long walks already around Elmhurst. I’d also love to drive the dog to dog parks or hiking trails. I have an 8 year old hound dog. He’s very friendly, well trained, 8 years old, and loves playing with dogs.

About: My family and I had a dog named Honey who we loved dearly, but sadly lost in a house fire around two years ago. I love dogs, and I really miss having one around. I thought Rover would be a great way to care for dogs and make some money on the side! I have experience as an emotional support assistant for students with mental disabilities, a role that demands great patience and understanding. I study Mechanical Engineering Asynchronously, and I work as a barista part-time. When I’m not working I’m usually studying, so I thought why not pack up my work and petsit while I study! My academic and professional lives require great attention to detail, so any sets of specific rules/schedules for any pet(s) under my care will be followed diligently!

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. My very first pet was a cat, her name was Smoky when I was seven years old. At 11, I got my first puppy, a poodle, and by age 12, I had two more cats, Simba and Tigger. When I was 15, I got my second dog, a border collie named Darcy, who stayed by my side until she passed at 15 years old, she grew up with me and my kids. Even as a child, my parents made sure I was fully responsible for my pets, which taught me how to care for them properly, from grooming to training to making sure they were healthy, exercised, and loved. In 2016, I started offering pet care professionally. Since then, I’ve done part-time dog walking, in-home pet sitting, and boarding dogs in my home while their families are on vacation. I’ve worked with dogs and cats of all kinds and love getting to know each pet’s unique personality. I’ll treat your pets like my own, with care, respect, and lots of love. I work from home with a flexible schedule, which makes it easy for me to care for pets throughout the day. I follow a consistent routine every morning, and I truly believe pets thrive on structure and stability, too. I’m flexible when needed, but I love having a daily rhythm, and that helps pets feel safe, calm, and cared for. In My Home Dogs: Your dog will enjoy a safe, welcoming environment with a fenced yard and one friendly resident dogs for company. I take dogs on morning and evening walks and also bring them to dog parks using my Forest Preserve dog park license when appropriate. I follow consistent feeding schedules and provide plenty of playtime, affection, and structure. Cats: While cats may be more independent, I make sure they have their own space, access to fresh water, food, and a clean litter box. I respect their need for quiet and let them come to me on their own terms, but when they want cuddles or play, I’m always ready. In Your Home Dogs: I make sure your dog feels secure in their familiar space by keeping their routine consistent. I’ll follow your feeding schedule, take them for walks, provide any grooming needs you request, and spend time giving them affection and attention, whether that’s playtime or just relaxing nearby. Cats: I understand that cats often do best in their own environment. I’ll make sure litter boxes are kept clean, food and water are refreshed, and any medications or care instructions are followed closely. I’ll also spend time with them so they don’t feel lonely, whether that means playing with their favorite toy or simply sitting nearby to provide quiet companionship.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs over the past few years, specifically my sister’s puppy and other neighbors’ older dogs during the day. I love playing with and walking dogs and am happy to follow specific requests about food, water, activities, etc. I just graduated from college in May, and I don’t start my job until September, so I am very flexible to watch your dog whenever you need! Everyone has different preferences for their dogs. I will make sure to understand how you specifically want your dog to be taken care of outside, inside, and at different times of day.

“Julia was amazing with Charlie at the drop-in visit. My dog is timid and suffers from anxiety, Julie was patient with Charlie, allowing him to come around to her in his time. Charlie also made a mess in his crate chewing his mattress to pieces and Julia was kind enough to help pick up the mess for me. Thank you!!”

“Jen is the BEST! She is thorough, detailed and cares 1000% about making sure your pet is being taken care of properly! I feel so comfortable knowing she’s giving my cat some serious TLC when I’m gone. Thank you Jen!!”

Erica P.
“Erica is a very responsible and caring pet caregiver. She made my dog feel right at home. She is very friendly and communicates with me when I have any questions or just feel like checking in. I highly recommend reaching out to her for anyone seeking a pet sitter. Your pet will be in great hands!”

Erin E.
“I leave my dog with Erin whenever I go out of town for work-about 6 weeks out of the year. He’s much happier at her house then he was at the boarding place. Erin sends me pics each day of my dog looking all happy and relaxed. She has a nice yard and lets him run around several times a day. My dog takes multiple medications and I trust Erin to give them at the right times of day. When I pick my dog up from Erin’s house after being gone of course he’s happy to see me, but more importantly, he’s not a shaking, anxious, smelly mess like he was when I used to board him at the large facilities. He's just chill. I just found out Erin walks dogs too and I plan to start using her for that too since my dog knows and loves her. Highly recommend and well priced.”

Rebecca F.
“If you are looking for someone that will treat your fur babies with the ultimate love and care? Becky is the number one person for you! She is my little sister & our entire lives there has not been one dog that has walked past us that she hasn’t asked to pet. She has knowledge, compassion & is very reliable. When she told me she wanted to make this her new job I thought who ever hires you is going to be ecstatic that they found you! She loves animals more than people, you will be very happy you chose her.”

Melanie L.
“Melanie does a great job taking care of your dogs while you’re away and putting your mind at ease. Everything you wish a dog sitter would send you while you’re away she does and then some!”

Dorota D.
“Dorota is a very responsible person and always has been, she takes care of our dog Teddy very well always giving him a lot of love and attention. She is a very energetic, caring, and responsible person. Any dog that will be under her care is in very good hands. She gives them all the care they need plus more!”

Vito M.
“Vito is an understanding, caring, and detail-oriented person. He would make a great pet sitter, especially since he already does it free of charge for friends and family.”

Sarah G.
“Sarah has been an absolute lifesaver when it comes to caring for my dog, Luna. She’s watched Luna multiple times while I’ve been out of town, and I always come home to a happy, calm pup. Sarah also helps with dog walking during the week when my schedule gets hectic. She’s incredibly reliable, kind, and clearly has a special bond with animals. I completely trust her in my home and with my dog, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a loving, responsible pet sitter.”
