About: Lifelong dog person, I have cared for dozens of furry friends, mine and others. I currently have a 4 year old Shepherd Mix. Former PETCO employee and rescue volunteer I am currently working part-time and unavailable 2pm to 7pm Monday- Friday. There is some flexibility, so please ask about your specific timing needs. Thanks I will follow your instructions as well as your pet's needs, mood, and personality. I do my best to let your fur baby be comfortable and themselves.

About: From the young age of 5, I’ve been helping care for pets around me of all kinds. I have dog sat, walked, I have cared for livestock, and I have owned a dog who I had from the age of 14 to 25. I trained all of our household pets as a child, and I have always felt very connected to animals. It’s been almost 2 years without my fur baby, and I’m ready to connect again. I’m not allowed to have a dog where I live. It’s less about the money; the dog walking comes from a place of love and care because I genuinely miss the connection with animals. I love to workout, I’m more than happy to take longer walks, and I’ll keep your doggy safer than any other, right down to keeping them off of the hot pavement, and making sure we have a drink if it’s a long walk! Between part-time management, and three kiddos, I’m hoping to find as much time as I can to help keep your puppers going. I’m ultimately hoping to find a daily/weekly companion 😊 First and foremost, I always respect the walking rules of the owner. Every owner has different preferences, but one thing that will always remain the same is your dog’s safety. They will be kept off of hot pavement, provided a drink on a long walk, we will steer clear of other pets or dangerous situations, cross safely, and I’m always watching the ground for hazards.

About: I've been taking care of dogs since I learned how to walk! I worked as an animal caretaker at the Okefenokee Swamp Park-doing enrichment with black bears, otters, alligators, snakes and other reptiles. I raised orphaned chipmunks in my home state of New York and successfully reintroduced them back to their natural environment all while assisting reptile owners with various snakes, geckos, etc. I currently have a mini schnauzer and a visually impaired Brittany, so I understand animals with special needs. I'm also aware of the stress of trying to find a pet friendly hotel or Airbnb vs leaving your furry family member at an expensive kennel. Let our home be their home where they can sit on the couch with us and get belly scratches and walks around the neighborhood. My goal is to leave my 3rd shift job entirely to devote my time to pet sitting. Currently we have someone home 24/7. I am home all day for walks, potty breaks, throwing a ball around and my husband is home all night for the exact same thing. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday I am off and he is off Friday, Saturday and Sunday! More time to hike, play and explore! I have two friendly dogs with varying levels of energy. Prudence the Brittany is 2 and loves to chase a Giggle Ball around or play with her other sensory toys. Poobah is our mini schnauzer and at 7, he is more than happy to cuddle up on the couch to take a pack nap or go for a slow, leisurely sniff around the neighborhood. As a family we enjoy finding places around Central VT to hike, play games like fetch or find the treat. This year the pups went swimming for the first time! (Poobah was not a fan)

About: I have spent the last 9 years walking and caring for dogs, and I truly believe that ample outdoor time and multiple daily walks are essential for their social and emotional well-being. I am excited about the opportunity to help take care of your beloved fur baby and provide them with the love and attention they deserve. I look forward to your consideration! I am currently working part time and going to college online, so I have ample time in the mornings to provide care for your furry friend. I am able to provide dog in the mornings during both the winter and the summer. Also, during the warmer months I provide cat walking services which is also amazing for your cats well being. I will unable to provide pet sitting services at my home as I have two cats that need space, but I am okay with taking care of your furry friend at your residence while you are away.

About: I have always owned pets and have often taken care of coworkers, friends and families pets and properties while they are traveling or need some extra support. I’m currently available in the morning on weekdays as I work second shift for short walks and check ins. I am also open to overnights beginning at 9pm on weekends. About: I have 2 cats and 3 dogs myself, and will treat yours like one of my own. I have experience living with every breed of dog from husky, to pitbull, to cockapoo, to chocolate lab, and currently have a German Sheppard as well as 2 Mini Australian Sheppards. I work from home as an engineer, and my work hours are pretty flexible as a result of that. Im conveniently located on Rt 7a! My typical day ends around 3:30 so I have plenty of time in the evening for your pup! Watch it as my own dog & burn some of that energy! I have experience with e-collars and walking dogs on a leash. Some days I will be accompanied by my dogs to help keep your dogs company - with your permission.

About: I’ve interned at my local vet clinic for two years now and have recently moved to a paid position as an assistant! through this internship i have not only learned substantial knowledge regarding pet care, such as how to most effectively administer medications, but also discovered my love for pet sitting, as i have become one of the veterinarian’s permanent pet sitter! i also plan to go to vet school after i earn my bachelors degree! i am currently enrolled in college, as well as working various part time jobs so my availability is limited at the moment, but i will try my best to arrange my schedule best for yours ( and your furry friend’s) needs! i’ll treat your furry family like my own! i come with treats ready (with permission of course) and never leave without a game of fetch or whatever else your babies might enjoy! they’ll definitely be the highlight of my day, so i’ll try to be there’s too!

About: Hello! My name is Skylar; I am 26 years old, my family has owned dogs my whole life, I own a dog and two cats! I currently work at a daytrain facility for dogs and am on my way to eventually becoming a dog trainer! I am relatively flexible as I work around my jobs schedule but I always provide the upmost care for animals. As a dog lover, I’m here to ensure that your family members stay happy and safe while you’re away! I currently work full time at a daytrain facility for dogs, typically in the afternoons - So I am available mostly in the mornings and evenings ( after 6 pm)! I am able to provide walks if needed (or if there is no fenced in yard), as well as special diets and medications as needed! I do prefer using my own slip lead for safety reasons in the event there is no fenced in yard, however I am flexible with this!

“Mark M. is now a member of our extended family! I would hire him to take care of my kids! Mark came for a meet and greet with Buddy (the dog) and Dewey (the cat) before we left. We provided written instructions for Mark indicating where the food was and including the feeding schedule. Mark took it from there, visit thrice daily for feeding and fun. On some days, he brought his pal, Suki, much to Buddy's delight as they romped together in the meadow.
