Pet care experience

Ultimutt Dawg Sitter

I have 11 years experience in breeding Golden Retrievers, as well as training them. I grew up in a family that breed and trained German Shepherds, and my Dad still breeds and trains them for military services as well as public service companions. I work with a wide variety of dog breeds from the smallest to the biggest. I have experience working with animals who are reactive and also hunting dogs. *Note: Rover takes 20% of what you pay me and Rover sends me the payment 48 hours AFTER the job is complete. *and that extra fee that Rover charges you does not go to me.

Ericca did a great job walking my senior dog each week. She was reliable and went the extra step to make sure my dog had extra attention and care.

Ericca was great. Ranger was well taken care of and tired from playing with her dogs when we picked him up.

Safety, trust & environment

We all get fed and watered around here. As well as getting plenty of fresh air and sunshine. Letting them outside to go to the bathroom. Spending quality time with them. Throwing and fetching. Playing with toys. Snuggling. Taking walks. Going on car rides. Meeting new friends. I have a great FENCED IN yard for dogs to be dogs. They can run, dig, roll, and play. Romp if they want to.

Pets

A typical day

There was a time that a sweet pup was going to be left behind in a barn for a week and checked on once a day while his family went on vacation. Instead - I pup-sat and the dog spent a wonderful time with my family and I, my two bouncy dogs, and he even went to the horse barn with us and met some new friends! One client liked an hour walk and she loved the car ride to our hikes together. We would travel up to twenty minutes sometimes to get the best terrain for releasing energy.

Does the animal require medication(s)? Have a special diet where meals need to be prepared? It is more important than you think to bring the correct food for their stay. The same brand and flavor that you feed at home. Otherwise they could become severely ill with vomiting and diarrhea. And that my pet lover will cost you an additional $100 a day to stay up and care for your pets care needs and clean-up. Clean-up is the biggest issue. (true story - the owner dropped off the correct brand - WRONG FLAVOR - that poor dog had liquid explosive diarrhea. the owner was gone across country for 10 days.) I would like to know if this pet is new to your family. Adopted. Rescued. *To your knowledge has the animal ever bitten anyone? Are there skills that you and your family are working on with the animal? I could maybe aid in the continuity of that training. Are there any bathroom habits that the animal has such as ringing bells to go outside, does it pace back and forth staring at me hoping that I will get the clue that it needs to use the bathroom? ***ELECTRONIC DEVICES*** You are required to inform me if there is an electronic device attached to the animal, imbedded into the animal, or inside their belongings. Let me know if the device has a camera, microphone, speaker, and or tracking capabilities.
