About: I have a sweet 4 yr old toy poodle girl and 3 yr old Siamese boy cat who love new friends! I’m attentive, patient, and treat every pet like family.🐾 Pet care is something I genuinely enjoy making part of my routine. I love starting the day with a walk and making time for play, cuddles, and companionship throughout the day. Since I work from home Wednesdays and Thursdays, I’m able to give pets plenty of attention without leaving them alone for long periods. On my days off, I have even more flexibility for longer walks, adventures, and one on one time. I’m happy to follow each pet’s usual routine so they feel comfortable and at home! I love getting to know each pet and making sure they feel happy, safe, and right at home! I have a large, open yard where pets can enjoy some fresh air and playtime while I’m outside supervising (weather permitting). About: ive had a couple of dogs growing up in my childhood, a sweet old black lab and a super crazy dingo.. in my free time after school and during summer i used to walk them, no amount of walking could satisfy my dingo..! id have her pull my bike to get all her energy out since we didnt have any closed in areas she could run off in.. ( i dont do this anymore! i realize its not very safe! she absolutely loved it for sure though) i love pups big and small old and energetic theyre all very unique and id love some new friends to get me out of the house. id ask you beforehand of course if youd be okay with them swimming, theres a pond i can bring them to after walking to cool off at. i have two cats, so id like to know how your dog reacts around small creatures, if they cant be in contact i can always but them into a room while the dog is over. most likely theyd be outside keeping me company! lots of shade and id keep em well hydrated and happy :3 i currently have been on a job hunt since what feels like forever, my schedule is very. very open.. since i dont have a car, but I have an electric scooter thanks to a helpful couple I babysat for! drop off would be ideal, if youre close enough to walk to i can do that too! my cats get their waters filled and cleaned almost daily, lots of love of course and are very spoiled. i dont have any dogs at the moment, so of course id love to chat about what youd expect and need for your lovely pup! im good with communication and friendly, special needs id be extra attentive to. im very good at remembering small things, though id still write em down incase!
About: I've taken care of animals all shapes and sizes since I can remember. Growing up my only job was to make sure my fur babies were fed and loved unconditionally. I would go to a friend of the family and help her with her pit bull and (several) greyhounds. I've worked at kennels from a young age and have had my own share of birds, mice, fish, hamsters, Guinea pigs, and chinchillas as well as dogs and cats. “Our dog had a fabulous stay with Mahayla! Since it was our first time, Mahayla offered to come to our home to get to know our pup before caring for her the next day. They hit it off immediately and Mahayla explained her background in animal/dog behavior studies and reassured us that all would go well... and it did! Our pup had a blast trail hiking and also just relaxing at Mahayla's home. Mahayla clearly understands and loves dogs, and it was clear that she was focused on our dog's enjoyment, comfort level and care. She was also focused on our needs as the owners. About: I have had pets in my home since birth and am very experienced caring for them. I got my own dog as soon as I was able to at age 18, he lived to be 16. I am experienced with puppies, elderly dogs, dogs with high anxiety, and rambunctious dogs. I'm happy to discuss any dog's particular needs. My husband and I both work from home. We walk our dogs at least once per day depending on weather and time of year. We walk them in the morning in good weather and after work if there is light to do so. Our normal routine is feeding twice a day. We live on 45 acres of unfenced land with an unfenced pond and stream where. I have two big male dogs, an unaltered Golden and an altered mixed pit, and one cat. I also have a baby under one year old.
“Where do I even begin? Heidi and her family were life savers. I had a different host that I had booked well over a month before my trip, and on the day of drop off I could not get a hold of her. I was in pure panic mode, and I found Heidi. She lives even closer to my home so that was another bonus. I got all the pictures and updates constantly. She treated my fur baby as if she were her own. She gave my girl a homemade pup cup, sweet potato and rice on her food, and all the snuggles. I know that she was truly in the best hands, and the first host falling through was a blessing in disguise. I would definitely book with her again!”
