Additionally we had housed my parents cat for 10 days after the move (who we had been cohabitating w for 3years) - And!! our new place was being scraped/painted ( Noisy!) Poor Guy was Traumatized & scared - which translated to Me!! being scared & very nervous about being away for 6 days. Deborah sent me very detailed updates/photos after each daily visit. By day three my lil guy had come out of his shell & greeting her w Affection & meows. ?I am eternally grateful and *Bonus* future travel requirements won't cause me nearly the anxiety. About: I have had dogs, cats, horses, and chickens all my life. I am not ready for a dog of my own, but I miss dog time since moving from home. I would love a walking buddy! I used to train dogs and compete in agility shows, maybe I can teach your pup a new trick :) I work a 9-5 type job. I can work from home sometimes, and could also go home at lunch if I was sitting for a dog to walk it mid-day. I don’t have any other pets so this pup would get lots of love! I would definitely take the pup walking twice daily if I were dog sitting.

Former PETCO employee and rescue volunteer I am currently working part-time and unavailable 2pm to 7pm Monday- Friday. There is some flexibility, so please ask about your specific timing needs. About: I have always owned pets and have often taken care of coworkers, friends and families pets and properties while they are traveling or need some extra support. I’m currently available in the morning on weekdays as I work second shift for short walks and check ins. I am also open to overnights beginning at 9pm on weekends. I am comfortable providing care in clients homes at this time and willing to adapt to owner’s preference for scheduled short term check ins and walks. I am also comfortable with overnights for house/ pet sitting.

About: ive had a couple of dog growing up in my childhood a sweet old black lab and a super crazy dingo.. in my free time after school and during summer i used to walk them, no amount of walking could satisfy my dingo.. id have her pull my bike to get all her energy out since we didnt have any closed in areas she could run off in.. ( i dont do this anymore! i realize its not very safe! she absolutely loved it for sure though) i love pups big and small old and energetic theyre all very unique and id love some new friends to get me out of the house. id ask you beforehand of course if youd be okay with them swimming, theres a pond i can bring them to after walking to cool off at. our backyard is fenced! i have two cats, so id like to know how your dog reacts around small creatures, if they cant be in contact i can always but them into a room while the dog is over. most likely theyd be outside! lots of shade and id keep em well hydrated and happy :3 i currently have been on a job hunt since what feels like forever, my schedule is very. very open.. since i dont have a car, drop off would be ideal, if your close enough to walk to i can do that too! weekends are the only time id be able to pick up your pooch my cats get their waters filled and cleaned almost daily, lots of love of course and are very spoiled. i dont have any dogs at the moment, so of course id love to chat about what youd expect and need for your lovely pup! im good with communication and friendly, special needs id be extra attentive to. im very good at remembering small things, though id still write em down incase!

“Mark M. is now a member of our extended family! I would hire him to take care of my kids! Mark came for a meet and greet with Buddy (the dog) and Dewey (the cat) before we left. We provided written instructions for Mark indicating where the food was and including the feeding schedule. Mark took it from there, visit thrice daily for feeding and fun. On some days, he brought his pal, Suki, much to Buddy's delight as they romped together in the meadow. Mark sent photos and status reports at each visit to make sure we didn't worry or miss our pals too much. We are so glad we found Mark and so grateful to Rover.com for helping us find him!”

About: I've loved animals forever and have cared for everything from a cockatiel to a chameleon, Great Pyrenees to Pekapoo. I currently have 1 Goldendoodle and 1 chocolate tabby cat in my home with fenced area and walking trails. I'm currently homeschooling my children at our 10+ acre home with fenced area and walking trails. We have a light schedule and are home more often than away. We currently walk our Goldendoodle daily and pet care is our love, in addition to our responsibility. I have a fenced area and multiple indoor secure areas where animals can get healthy time in a safe home without overstimulation. I have 1 Goldendoodle and 1 chocolate tabby cat who are the best of friends and are supportive to newcomers.
