1. Davis B.
“We have a rescue dog who typically takes a while to warm up to people, but not with Davis. She was patient and followed our instructions and our dog took to her quickly. Davis has been communicative and has followed up to clarify instructions. She also did great handling our 9-month old lab puppy.”
2. Kaylea N.
“Kaylea and her family have been nothing short of a perfect example for the ideal pet caregiver. I’ve known them for many years & have always been super impressed with how well their animals are taken care of, and trained. So much so, I adopted a pup from a litter they had! I would be surprised if you found anyone more thorough and caring on this app.”
3. Ericca B.
“I lucked out when I found Ericca on Rover. My dog is not easy to walk. It takes strength and flexibility and some degree of wildness to keep up with Kona. But Ericca isn’t intimidated or dissuaded. She is the perfect combo of deep caring, responsible capability, and natural honesty. She drives my extremely lively Husky to safe outdoor places for walks just like she is me, allowing me to have a break or an intense workday without worrying that Kona needs a walk. Thank you kind and conscientious, strong and fearless Ericca!”
4. Mara K.
“Thank you Mara! The dogs took very well to Mara, she was punctual and trustworthy. 5 stars all around”
5. Rebecca K.
“Becca was fantastic, she treated my high energy dog like he was her own. She even went above and beyond and offered to take him on an extra long walk with another dog she was walking after mine.”
6. Marc S.
“Marc is a life long pet owner. He is reliable and very good with dogs. He has watched my dogs for years with no issues. I would trust him completely with my home and pats. I have recommended Marc as a pet sitter to friends who have been very satisfied. Highly recommend.”
7. Deborah F.
“Deborah is fantastic!! Deborah was amazing with Koda. She was prompt and flexible with my last minute booking. After our meet and greet, Koda immediately clicked with her and I felt really comfortable spending the day away. She sent so many cute pictures and i came home to a happy and tired pup :) would absolutely book again and so happy we found her”
8. Jada C.
“Jada did a great job with our first walk, given that shes never been to our house or met Bella. She was able to fit us in on the same day, and bella was thoroughly exhausted still when i came home from work many hours after her walk. We will definitely be booking Jada in the future!”

About: I’ve taken care of pets and farm animals for 5+ years. I have my own dog I adopted from a bad puppymill situation, and have worked in stables and a ranch in the South, so I have a lot of experience with nervous rescue animals. I’ve always loved animals so much, and I’m sure I’ll love yours! Through doing this I have learned that I have an affinity for puppies and younger animals that need more structure! Having raised my own puppy as well as some clients, I’ve learned some tried and true ways for teaching the basics (leash manners, going potty outside, and life saving commands). So if that’s you, I’d love to help make the puppy blues a little less…blue Recently relocated from Brooklyn, NY, I’m looking to fill my days up with walks, pet daycare, and play! Let me know if you are interested I work full time taking care of my own pet as well as the pets of others (big and small!). My day revolves around making sure animals are fed, happy, and exercised! I will treat your pet just as I would treat my own! Keeping in mind their specific needs and wants. I really emphasize specialized enrichment for all pets. Some dogs will be tired from a walk, but some need something else! I want to make sure every pet is happy and tired at the end of the day.
10. Alyssa H.
About: I've been in pet care professionally for over 4 years, and before rover I worked for a grooming salon. I have all the patience and experience to keep your mind at ease and pet happy ☺️ thank you for considering me to watch after your furry baby! Pet care is my main focus and passion, your pet will get round the clock care and attention as pet care is my career and passion in life ☺️ Safety is a must in my home, so I take extra care to make sure everything is picked up and tidy along with having my own pet adjacent first aid kit on hand.
11. Aubrey H.
About: I've taken care of animals all shapes and sizes since I can remember. Growing up my only job was to make sure my fur babies were fed and loved unconditionally. I would go to a friend of the family and help her with her pit bull and (several) greyhounds. I've worked at kennels from a young age and have had my own share of birds, mice, fish, hamsters, Guinea pigs, and chinchillas as well as dogs and cats. The home has only been without pets for around 7 months now and I would love to dedicate some of my time to people who need genuine love and care for their fur babies! I do not have a job, I am around all of the time! I can be there any time day or night! You name it. I do not have a fenced in yard, however all of the neighborhood doggies are very very friendly. I have a decent sized yard and live next to multiple fields and grassy areas.
12. Makenna C.
“Makenna did a nice job for her first visit with Sophie! Good communication and promptness.”
13. E. M.
About: I've taken care of dogs and other pets (cats, fish, & chickens) for my entire life. I have a natural affinity towards dogs and they often relax in my presence. I've trained puppies and difficult dogs. As an upcoming freshman in college on summer break, I'm available for pet-sitting every day of the week for any and all hours of the day! I currently have an energetic terrier and have had several dogs with varying levels of energy, anxiety, and feistiness, so I have experienced it all! I've been taking care of pets my entire life.
14. Mark M.
“Mark was great at walking our dog Leo and keeping him company while we were out on Lake George. He was very communicative and sent pictures showing us that Leo was happy hanging with a new friend. We look forward to booking with him again.”
15. Jesse F.
“Jesse is a very caring, knowledgeable, and reliable pet caregiver. He has worked with many different dogs and knows how to handle different sizes and temperaments. I can personally attest for his treatment of small dogs, as he cares for my chihuahua. He also occasionally cares for another dog with a very active (and occasionally destructive) personality, which he handles well. Jesse also has extensive knowledge on rabbit care. He owns a rabbit that is around 13 years old and perfectly healthy, which is crazy.”
16. Nicky N.
“Nicky is a wonderful dog walker (she loves her hikes especially) and an excellent caregiver! She has rehabilitated many animals over the years and has spent her life with dogs, cats, plants, farm animals, you name it. She has even worked in bee keeping and really understands the patience and love that animals need to thrive. She loves to learn more and help teach and she does it all while having a fun time with the pups :)”
17. Jordan R.
“I highly recommend Jordan! He provided excellent care for our furry friend, ensuring they were happy, well-fed, and received plenty of attention. His energy and love for animals makes him the perfect choice for anyone in need of a trustworthy pet sitter.”
18. Sue B.
About: Hello! Thank you for your interest! I have Miki, who is a senior yellow Labrador Retriever with Cushing's Disease, that I've been taking care of for 13+ years now. And before him, I had Sam, also a yellow Labrador. I'm available to care for your dog and to administer medication if need be. I have a large unfenced property so there's plenty of room for your pooch to roam! I'm available for walks, rides, and doggie daycare. Miki is always with me when I go for rides...he wouldn't have it any other way! I will make sure your dog has enough activity to keep them happy. I'm a freelance artist so I'm home most of the time, except for when I go to Syracuse to visit family, which is generally during the week. I can provide a reference from my most recent client if you are having any doubts. My rates are reasonable and I'm always prompt and willing to respond to inquiries. The only time I am unavailable is when I go to Syracuse to visit my family. That happens at least once a month and during the week. My Miki is a very friendly dog with a great temperament. He gets excited when meeting new dogs, but will never bite. He is allowed on our furniture and gets to go outside quite frequently because of his Cushing's Disease.
