After our meet and greet, Koda immediately clicked with her and I felt really comfortable spending the day away. About: ive had a couple of dogs growing up in my childhood, a sweet old black lab and a super crazy dingo.. in my free time after school and during summer i used to walk them, no amount of walking could satisfy my dingo..! id have her pull my bike to get all her energy out since we didnt have any closed in areas she could run off in.. ( i dont do this anymore! i realize its not very safe! she absolutely loved it for sure though) i love pups big and small old and energetic theyre all very unique and id love some new friends to get me out of the house. id ask you beforehand of course if youd be okay with them swimming, theres a pond i can bring them to after walking to cool off at. i have two cats, so id like to know how your dog reacts around small creatures, if they cant be in contact i can always but them into a room while the dog is over. most likely theyd be outside keeping me company! lots of shade and id keep em well hydrated and happy :3 i currently have been on a job hunt since what feels like forever, my schedule is very. very open.. since i dont have a car, but I have an electric scooter thanks to a helpful couple I babysat for! drop off would be ideal, if youre close enough to walk to i can do that too! my cats get their waters filled and cleaned almost daily, lots of love of course and are very spoiled. i dont have any dogs at the moment, so of course id love to chat about what youd expect and need for your lovely pup! im good with communication and friendly, special needs id be extra attentive to. im very good at remembering small things, though id still write em down incase!
About: I’ve been around and taking care of dogs of different breeds since I was 16. Most of my experience has been with friends’ and family members’ dogs. I’ve helped with walks, feeding, playtime, and taking care of them when they stay at my house. I’ve also helped keep their areas clean when needed. I really enjoy spending time with dogs and making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while they’re with me 🐶❤️ I’m available 24/7, which means I’ll have plenty of time to take care of your furry friend and give them lots attention and love :) I live in Berlin, NY, in a quiet area with a large yard where dogs have plenty of space to play and enjoy some time outside. I have a medium sized house and a very friendly 14 year old cat who is used to being around others.

Pet Care is not only an important part of my life, but it's a passion of mine. Caring for your animal like I do my own is what makes life rewarding for me. When your pet is with me it becomes a part of my family and is treated as such. I look forward to training or caring for your animals! I can train your dog in a multitude of ways. I work a lot of animals with anxiety and behavioral issues. I can easily crate your dog, cat or any other animal if needed. I have access to multiple fenced in yards for your pet to run around in and play. I have a fully trained purebred smooth collie who is extremely gentle and can make friends with anything. I have multiple rooms and spaces in order to accommodate your fur baby's needs. I pay attention to detail and carry out all care with the highest level of standards I can.
About: I’ve always took a liking to animals and always had postive bonds with them. Over the years of growing up my grandfather owned several big dogs and cats. While others would shy away, not me I always helped out and didn’t mind watching them. I currently run an online business which has allowed me to have so much time for my daily clients. Due to my freedom I’m able to provide walks as often as every two hours or less for my puppies. I also get to spend my days cuddled up with my temporary babies. Caring for any pet at my home or others will be very similar I will need to know any notes and any restrictions for me and the dog. As I would give them my complete attention so that it’s a little vacation for them as well as subtracting feeling neglected.

“Colleen D is fantastic!!!! She cares for every need (and wants!!! LOL) my pooches Bella and Sophie have. She is reliable, caring, attentive and loves my dogs as if they were princesses and her own. She is always there for me even in short notice. I am extremely greatful for her attentive care, passion for animals and over all kind spirit. It comes without any reservation that I would wholeheartedly recommend Colleen for any type of care.”
About: I have taken care of animals for over 10 years. I worked at two doggie daycares in CT. Each were different environments such as in home and pack care. I really enjoyed building relationships with the animals and owners. It’s a passion of mine. I’m currently looking for something to offset school and life costs, I have recently decided to go back to school to study radiology. I would like something I can do around my schedule. I do work from 7am-3pm. I have three cats, I take care of them like my children. They only get the best! I would take care of your fur baby like my own.

About: Animals kept me safe my entire life, now I return the favor by keeping your babies safe while you’re away. ❤️ I have been working with animals my whole life. At only 3 I moved in with my step father onto a small farm(yes this means I can feed your chickens, gather your eggs, clean your stalls, and feed your cattle, pigs, or even horses). I spent three years working in the veterinary field where I learned to better understand and triage animal emergency and how to deal with them calmly and safely. I have 3 dogs, and 2 cats of my own as well as a bearded dragon and a few chickens, whom I love more than life. I have minimal boarding experience, but have had or worked with everything from fish and birds, to dogs to cattle, from snakes to horses, and I love each one of these creatures just as much as the rest. I adore all animals, and cherish my pets so much, and finding some one you can trust to REALLY care for them can be a challenge, so let me make your life a little easier with flexible, reliable, patient and gentle care. As a pet mom to 11 furry, scaly, and feathered babies, I know how hard it can be to find reliable pet care. My animals are my children, my babies; the most important things in my world. I promise to love yours the way I’d love my own. I am currently unemployed and taking a leap. What I’d LOVE is to start my own pet care company. I know how hard it is to find pet care in and around the Berkshires, especially the holidays when all the day cares and well known sitters are booked - so let me take some of that weight off you. I’m flexible and reliable and can do drops ins, walks, day stays, over nights, or multiple day stays. I’m open to any animal type, including pocket pets, exotics and special needs. What can I say? Pets are really the only thing most of us like in this crazy world; so it’s kind of the perfect job. 😉 I am open to all types of care, all types of animals, and all types of situations. I have experience in vet medicine and have had elderly and special needs animals my whole life. No matter how long my interaction with your baby is, I assure you it will be filled with love.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Walloomsac. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.
For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
