“Olivia was extremely accommodating and reliable during an awful snow storm. She took a great care of our little cat, kept in touch the whole time, and took great pictures of him. Thank you Olivia!”

About: I have taken care of dogs for most of my adult life. My wife and I have made a point to adopt large older dogs that tend to be stuck in the shelter system. All dogs are good and deserve to live a fun filled, happy, and loved life. Im currently working part time three nights during the week so I have plenty of free time to take care of your pups. Having recently lost our beloved Mastiff, I've been craving some pup time. I have a fully fenced in yard and have plenty of room to crate your pups. We recently lost our dog so we are pet free.

“Kelsey was amazing with our 3 pups while we were away for a few days! We opted for 2-3 daily check in visits which worked great for our dogs. Our three dogs are different ages and have slightly different care needs. Kelsey was able to accommodate them all and our dogs seemed happy and calm while we were away.”

“Mary was awesome. She accommodated a pretty short notice request for our first time for a drop-in. And while our dogs can be anxious around new people, she had no concerns and took them out and played with them and they had a blast. We will definitely be using her services again.”

About: Hi there! My name is Kristin and I have a lifelong passion for all animals. Growing up on a horse farm, I was surrounded by various animals and always had cats and dogs as pets. Outside of having pets growing up, I have helped out friends and family members with dog, cat, and house sitting for them over the past 10+ years. I have experience with a variety of breeds, ranging from big breeds such as Pitbulls and Boxers to smaller breeds like Yorkies and Jack Russells. I care for all animals with all my heart and your pets will be in loving hands with me! I work full time in Monmouth county, so weekends would be ideal for me. However, if your pet doesn't need to go out as frequently, I can definitely help out during the week. I am typically out of the house between 10am-6pm, so I can play with/walk/feed them before or after those times. Weekends are totally open for me so I can do whatever your pet needs. In my client's home, I will follow their typical routine and do whatever they do to care for their pets. I always respect their home and make sure I leave it as clean as possible.

About: I've had dogs my entire life. I help out friends and family with their dogs and cats. Animals hold a close place in my heart. I have a golden retriever named Stella and she is my pride and joy. Because of my passion for animals, I've decided to pursue my dream career. My experience with dogs is that I go above and beyond. While caring for your pet, I am with the pet most of the time unless I need to run a quick errand. I would provide comfort and full attention to the animal. I will treat your pet as if they were my own. I provide detailed care and unconditional love. I want to make sure your pet is as comfortable as possible with me. When I first meet them, I make sure I am calm and in a space that they are farmiliar with. I provide daily updates, photographs and videos to provide piece of mind while you are away.

About: I grew up with dogs. A dog, sometimes two or three, was always in our house and a part of my family. I’ve been around dogs of all ages, sizes and breeds, understanding each one is unique and needs certain care. I have helped train a chocolate lab (a very energetic boy named Brody) from a puppy. I understand dogs are a part of your family and will provide that love and care towards them. I care for my two cats, Avy and Moose along with my partner. Since we share responsibilities of our cats and my 9-5 job is remote I am able to schedule sits and walks regularly. My girlfriend and I currently have two cats who are a part of our everyday lives. They like to wake us up and sun bath by the windows. We love them

“Charlie took care of my 2 cats! Was great about following instructions and great with communicating. Also gave my cat inhaler treatments. Would definitely recommend her!”

“Karin did a wonderful job caring for our two pups while we were amour off state visiting family. She was professional, attentive, and kind at the meet and greet. My dogs took to her very well. She is definitely an animal lover!! And it shows. Karin asked all of the necessary questions and planned everything ahead of the visit from playtime to walks and food. We felt very secure and confident leaving our two pups with Karin. We knew they were in good hands. We received texts and pictures throughout the visit and could rest assured that our doggies had their walk, playtime, and were fed and safe.”

“Sylvan is wonderful with our very tentative rescue kitty. Lilith even sits on Sylvan’s lap-the ultimate endorsement! We missed out Lilith but knew that she was well cared for by Sylvan who went above and beyond for us.💖”

About: I have had pets all my life. I had cats as a child and now enjoy spending time with my mothers kitty and my grand-cats! I have had two dogs as an adult. My Boo-Boo was a 10 pound rag doll of foof who we mourn till this day. Then we had Gizmo who was a rescue Pekingese. We loved them both from puppy days till their senior years. For now we enjoy watching the afternoon parade of dog walkers strut past our front porch. We just finished quite a bit of home renovations so we look forward to adding another pup to our family in the future. I work part time as a real estate showing assistant and I manage my own time so I can block off time for pets as the need arises. I also do side gigs as a bagpiper with my husband. My schedule is pretty flexible. I am a real estate agent so I am used to going in and out of homes with care. If your fur baby is at my home they will enjoy a fenced yard and a dog friendly neighborhood to stroll in. I currently do not have a pet so your fur baby will get my full attention.

About: Hi! I recently took a short break from Rover while undergoing treatment for breast cancer—I’m doing great now and really looking forward to getting back to what I love: spending time with animals! I’ve been caring for pets since my early teens and have experience with animals of all shapes and sizes. One of the most memorable chapters of my life was working on a TV show filmed at an animal sanctuary, where I helped care for a crew of 99 animals—everything from dogs and cats to kangaroos and lemurs. Over the years, I’ve also volunteered at shelters and fostered both dogs and cats, gaining hands-on experience with animals of all ages, energy levels, and special needs. Whether it’s an energetic puppy, a shy senior, or anything in between, I’m comfortable providing gentle, attentive care. I am completely flexible! Even on holidays! Currently on leave from my film industry career, I have the freedom to dedicate ample time and attention to your lil buddies. I'm currently responsible for the well-being of a diverse fur family, which includes one dog and two kitties. Meticulously, I manage their feeding and bathroom schedules, keeping track of their unique dietary needs and allergies, ensuring that they never get the wrong meal. Beyond the basics, I offer hours of stimulating walks, playtime, and cozy cuddles. However, I always remember that when it comes to your pets, the pet parents are the ultimate bosses. Your instructions and preferences guide my care, ensuring that your furry companions receive the love and attention they deserve.

About: I have 15+ years experience caring for animals as I grew up with large dogs, guinea pigs, and fish. Once I moved out of my family home, I adopted a dog name Cooper in 2023, who has my entire heart. I want to care for other peoples pets (family!) the way I would want someone to care for Cooper 🐾. I also have a Holland Lop bunny named Valentine, therefore, I have experience caring for small pets as well! I have experience caring for all breeds / sizes of dogs, and am comfortable walking large breeds. I can walk, feed, clean, exercise, and occasionally board your pets. I’m happy to help in any way that I can! I can send picture updates and am very flexible with requests(: Looking forward to meeting your furry companions! I am home most of the day - I’m currently in an accelerated nursing program, which consists of one class per day on average. Some days I get home at 12pm and others at 3/4pm. I am flexible with last minute requests! I have a 3 sided fenced yard - it is not fenced on the road side, however I am in the back house and I am not on the street side. I have a 30ft tether leash in the backyard that I attach my dog to and let him sunbath while I sit outside with him. I also have a 3x3x4 crate.

About: I approach each pet like you would a human by meeting their needs with love. I keep a clean house as well as the fur baby. I am very accommodating and friendly. I request at least 3 days notice unless an urgent need arises. I have experience with training dogs/cats. I’ve house sat for pet owners and cleaned. I’ve even taken care of exotic pets. I’ve worked with rescues who shy away from people. Let’s have a meet with your fur baby and discuss if I can meet your needs. I treat each fur baby like family! I ask to meet up so that the animal feels a sense of trust with me before you part for your journey away. I’d also like to meet you and put your mind at ease.

Maggie S.
“Maggie is a wonderful Dog sitter and our dog loves her! She gets very excited when she sees her walking up to the house. Maggie cared for our dog in our home for 5 days while we traveled. She followed all the instructions, sent us updates, took her on a few long walks each day and cuddled on the couch with her at night before going to bed. Out dog is young and came home during the pandemic so she was very used to everyone being around most of the time. She's adjusted to real life but can get separation anxiety. The last time we were away, she stayed with a family who host a few dogs and they said that our dog just wanted to be with them, not to play with the other dogs. We know our dog is safe and happy with Maggie staying in our own home. Maggie is flexible and reliable, very kind and thoughtful. We recommended her to a neighbor, and they were very pleased as well. We'll definitely use her the next time we travel and may ask her to walk our dog if we have to be out for more than a few hours some day in the future. In summary, we highly recommend Maggie S.!”

Brandon M.
“Brandon would be an exceptional dog sitter for Rover. He's one of the kindest, hard working and responsible people I know. “My mom loves all dogs and cats. I miss both of the dogs I grew up with. The dogs went where I was as a kid so the dogs went to my dads house and grandmothers just like dropping me off for daycare. They were post divorce Share-A -Pets. It took alot to coordinate but our dogs were happy and that made it all worth it for everyone. Now she stops by to see me and her "Grand-cats".”

Elissa E.
“Wow! She will make an awesome rover. She grew up surrounded by pets, dogs, rabbits, hamsters and even some snakes. Dogs adore her, even the ones that aren’t too sociable. I think they sense the calming presence she has and her nurturing ways. She is adored by my dog, who lays his head on her lap whenever she is around. She is dependable, reliable and willing to work hard at all times. She would make an excellent addition.”

“Trevor exudes warmth and professionalism that set us at ease right away. His communication was prompt and clear, making the booking process smooth and straightforward. Our dog, Max, took to Trevor instantly, which is a rarity given his usual shyness around new people. Trevor has a knack for understanding and connecting with dogs. He sent us daily updates and photos, showing Max enjoying long walks and playtime. It was clear that Max was not just being cared for but was also having a great vacation of his own!”

Melissa M.
“Melissa has lovingly cared for my cats and dogs for many years. She is an invaluable resource for easing separation anxiety, putting pets at ease, managing special medical needs, and just bringing them joy through an ongoing connection. She is very knowledgeable and sweet to all her furry pals - new and old. I highly recommend her as a caregiver!”

Christina T.
“Christina is one of the most reliable people I know. She’s helped me countless of times when I needed a sitter for my lab. She’d let him out, fed him, made sure his water bowl was full, and played with him in the backyard to make sure he got his energy out. She’d also send photo/video updates which made me feel more relaxed when I had to leave him at home. She has a pup and bunny. She gives them the best life possible. I couldn’t recommend someone more capable of taking care of your pets!”

Kristin very quickly became a new best friend of our recent 8yr old rescue, Poppy. She keeps is reliable and assisting us with potty training going out and ringing the bell. Poppy is excited to see Kristin and let's Kristin know wheat she needs. Today, 6/9, Poppy wanted to walk longer and Kristin accommodated it.
