About: I go beyond basic pet sitting by building trust with both pets and owners. I’m patient, reliable, and attentive to each pet’s unique personality and needs. Whether it’s helping reinforce puppy training, keeping up with high-energy dogs, or providing calm, compassionate care for senior pets, I always make sure your pet feels cared for and comfortable. I’m currently studying for my physical therapy boards, which allows me to be home throughout the day and have a very flexible schedule for pet care. Because of this, I’m able to provide consistent attention, frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, feedings, and companionship rather than leaving pets alone for long periods. In both my home and a client’s home, I focus on making pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while maintaining their normal routine as closely as possible. I make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, fresh water, meals on schedule, and, of course, lots of affection. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and follow all instructions carefully to help pets feel comfortable in their familiar environment. About: Hi! I’m Anna! I am willing to take care of everything your pet/s may need from exercise, to controlling a situation the best way possible if your pet/s have anxiety or medical issues. I have experience administering oral medications and being extra cautious with my now passed boxer who has had multiple knee surgeries, to insulin shots for my now passed 20 year old diabetic, severely anxious cat. I will pay attention to any special instructions and make sure your pet has a good time! I realize this is a big responsibility and I will make sure you feel safe with me caring for your animal/s.I have experience with bunnies too! I’ll treat your animals the same way I treat mine, thanks for reading. I do work full time in person so I am only able to care for your pet every 8 hrs, unless you’re right by my work place in north Knox! I am respectful of clients homes and leave them in better condition than when I initially enter them. I’ll vacuum or sweep if you’d like, I don’t mind at all. I lock the door each time I leave, even if it’s just for a moment. If your dog/s need a bath it’s no problem.

I’ve been a foster with Young-Williams Animal Center since 2019 and love providing a safe, happy home for animals who make our lives richer and more loving. I currently work an 8:30 AM–5:00 PM job with a one-hour lunch break and live just five minutes from the office. I also work remotely on Mondays and Fridays, which gives me added flexibility. I have a spare bedroom in my condo, and the space I provide depends on the animal’s size. For kittens, I often use the spare bathroom, keeping them warm with food, water, and a litter box nearby. For dogs, I set up their pen in the spare room with all their supplies. I also have a large fenced-in back patio where dogs can go outside, play, and run safely.

I’m skilled in feeding, walking, administering medications, and providing plenty of love and attention. Currently, I have a senior dog, Rocko (who would love to meet your dog!) and two previously feral cats, Gus and Hank. I have a flexible work schedule, and I work in downtown Knoxville which is 5 minutes from my home. This allows flexibility with my availability (see below). I am an early riser so I am open to early morning walks/drop-ins, if needed. Availability Note: I am open to dog boarding during the week if the dog is a good personality fit with my senior dog, Rocko. I am also available all day for drops-ins and walks for the downtown community since I work downtown. My pets are my world, and their care comes before all other responsibilities. I take caring for others' pets just as seriously. My husband loves and cares for our pets just as much as I do, so any dog staying in our home will have double the attention and care!

If boarding at my house, I live with my boyfriend who also has a relatively flexible schedule and can provide care during any hours that I may be away. In my home, pets are treated like family! I have a large yard for playtime, two friendly dogs who love having company, and plenty of toys to keep everyone entertained. I always make sure pets get lots of attention, exercise, and love while they’re with me. I’m comfortable accommodating different needs and routines, whether that means crating your dog, sticking to a specific feeding or medication schedule, or giving them extra one on one attention. If your dog is used to snuggling up at night, they’re more than welcome to sleep in bed with us and our pups! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to keep your pet’s routine as normal and stress free as possible. I will follow any house rules, schedules, or care instructions you have to make sure your pet feels comfortable and secure in their own environment. I love going on walks and am always happy to take dogs on adventures, get in plenty of playtime, or simply provide companionship and cuddles based on their personality and needs.
