Pet care experience

Hi! My name is Cayla and I love all animals! In my home I have a 9 1/2 year old blue pit bull and a 9 year old chihuahua mix! I have had both of them since they were around 12 weeks old. Both Winnie (pit bull) and Ziggy (chihuahua) have grown up around other dogs and cats, too! Typically they do just fine with other dogs, but there have been instances where Winnie can be territorial of her home or owners haven’t been honest about their dog’s behavior. I just want to be honest! So I am always down for a meet & greet with the dogs, but sometimes it’s best if I keep them separate-which is no big deal, I promise! I use to house strays often and sometimes my dogs wouldn’t be cool and sometimes it was the other dog(s) that wouldn’t be cool. That’s animals for you! But all animals, at all times, were safe! I have a totally separate, tiled dog room where I can keep Winnie and Ziggy and they have plenty of room! I can do walks and play time separate, as well. Your dog would have access to my entire house so do not feel like “separation” means I keep your dog locked up. Your dog or cat comes first to make sure they feel comfortable and have plenty of space and love. My dogs know the drill lol!-trust me my dogs are spoiled enough. Evening walks are routine in my home, lunch potty breaks and daily play in my yard! I do not mind if your dog is a “furniture dog” or prefers to sleep in the bed! I actually welcome all of the cuddles and want to make sure your dog has the least amount of anxiety while you are away! If I feel like Winnie can handle the interaction with your dog then safety is my first priority! If not, then I will keep them separated...and often Winnie and Ziggy will stay somewhere else while I am dog sitting-you can always ask! I am home by 4pm at the latest every day and I am home in the evenings for walks, belly scratches and attention time. I love all breeds and I have owned pit bulls, German Shepards, Labrador mixes, chihuahuas and mutt mixes! I have also owned 4 cats in the past and have raised 2 liters of kittens! I have 1 extra kennel available if needed and I can always gate my other extra room if you do not want your dog in a kennel, but don’t feel like they would do well just out in the house while I’m at work. I am more than welcome to meet your dog first before booking or you can be assured that we will get along just fine after dropping them off-I wouldn’t be on Rover if dogs and cats didn’t like me! Please feel free to message me with any questions and do not shy away due to my pit bull or worrying about separating the dogs. I have done that on several occasions and it has worked out wonderfully! Let me love on your dog or cat! They are in good care with me! *photos available of my home, separation doors, living space, boarding room and cleanliness!

Cayla was very accommodating! I was having a hard time finding a last minute sitter for Rena but she said we could figure something out. Rena was happy running around in the yard and playing with other dogs.
