About: I have had to take care of all types of dogs. Small, large, quiet, rowdy, shy, excited, sweet, a bit aggressive, handled it all! Even if I can't handle extremely young puppies just yet, I can assure you that I will always do my best to play, feed, walk, treat, and anything else that your dog needs to be healthy and comfortable. I'm a college student taking classes around lunch time (10-1, depending on the day), but all that extra time can go to your animals! Plus, I don't normally have anything on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays, so if your animals need constant attention those days are perfect! Whatever care your dog needs in your home, I am happy to provide. I listen to every instruction and will be sure to do the most I can so that your pet is happy, healthy, and safe in whatever confines you have for them.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats my entire life and I house-sit/dog-sit as a part-time job, as well as work at two stables. I grew up with the responsibility of taking care of my own pets, so I enjoy taking care of other people’s animals! I pet sit for another company and for clients I know personally, so my schedule is updated as accurately as possible on my page- most weeks I’ll be available Mon/Tues/Thurs/Sat/Sun. I could possibly help with pets on Wednesdays and Fridays, but those are my scheduled work days. When my semester starts in September, I’ll be occupied Tues/Thurs. When I am chosen for whatever service you might need, I’ll be able to feed, let your dogs out, walk them/play with them, spend time with your cats, etc.! I’d like to know a day or two in advance, but I could possibly accept a same day booking. I take care of every animal like they’re my own; I’ve taken many dogs off the streets to find their owners. This is no different, your animal will be treated with respect and love while you’re away! I won’t be taking care of animals at my house (due to my own pets), but I would possibly be willing to do overnight stays at the client’s house if it’s a good fit.

About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Over the years, I've been lucky to parent dogs, cats, and horses, including two retired racing Greyhounds and a tuxedo cat who made me a certified cat person. Beyond my own, I've been caring for pets professionally (i.e., beyond friends and family) for more than 15 years, and after taking some time away while completing my PhD and living abroad, I'm excited to be back doing something I've always loved. In 2011, I started walking pups professionally in Chicago as a side gig during my breaks from tour managing for a band, which quickly turned into my dog-walking clients asking me to stay in their home with their pets while they were away. Over the span of just a few years, I built relationships with more than 30 clients, with most of them turning into repeat (and repeat and repeat!) clients. I've cared for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, from tiny Yorkies to Great Danes and everything in between. I've also worked with many pets that required extra patience or specialized care. I've cared for senior pets, dogs < 1yo, a blind Australian Cattle Dog, a deaf cat, highly anxious and stranger-wary dogs, VERY stranger-wary cats, a Beagle with a seizure disorder, and pets receiving medication. I've also been the go-to sitter for a couple of families going through difficult times with their critters, including caring for their pets with terminal illnesses during their final days (both a black lab named Maggie and the sweetest deaf black cat named Sam) . Over the years, I've handled a few very unexpected situations as well. Whether it's a medical event requiring an unexpected trip to the veterinarian or even arriving to a cat drop-in visit to find that the apartment had experienced a break-in (in my Chicago days, which included working with police and gathering the terrified cats from the apartment stairwell), I've stayed calm, communicated clearly, and focused on keeping the critters safe and the clients informed. There have also been several occasions where I've extended my stay last-minute due to a client's canceled flight or interrupted travel plans. One of the biggest differences between my prior pet sitting days and now is my flexibility due to my remote work. When I pet sat extensively throughout Chicago, my tour managing days had ended and I worked a full-time 9-5 downtown. This was fine for my clients, as they had a similar schedule. But I now work fully remotely, so I have a highly flexible schedule that allows me to spend much more time with your pets throughout the day than I could years ago. I essentially do my best to work around your pet's normal routine. I'm happy to accommodate early mornings, evenings, or midday visits whenever possible. My goal is to make life feel as normal and stress-free as possible for your pets while you're away. When I'm in your home, I treat it with the same respect I'd expect someone to show mine, as I've also hired pet sitters over the years for my own critters. I follow your instructions (the more the better!), keep you updated with photos (lots!) and messages, and make sure your pets receive the same routines, rules, and attention they're used to (e.g., their feeding schedules, medications, favorite walking routes, cuddle time, or simply keeping them company).

About: I've had dogs for as long as I can remember. My dad used to help help run a rescue for several years, and we had many dogs of varying breeds and ages in our home. I currently have one dog named Alvin who was born in 2022. He is a yellow lab with a lot of energy! I am venturing into the working world, and this is my only role. My availability is wide open and I'm willing to help when needed! I have a small fenced in area under our deck where my dog relieves himself. I go for walks and there is a dog park very close to the house. My dog has extreme crate anxiety, so he isn't created. I am comfortable helping to ensure your pet is created as necessary.

About: As a pet owner (cats, dogs and hamsters), I am offering the same care I looked for when I had pet sitting needs—dependability and love for pets. I work full time remotely so I’m flexible during the week. I do travel with my job and many of my weekends are full. I will keep my schedule updated so times are known when I can help. I am willing to watch your dog or cat at your house. I currently have a friendly cat but he doesn’t understand not all dogs love him. About: I have experience with just about every type of pet regardless of age. I have experience with kittens and puppies as well as rescues with high care needs as well as their medication schedules. I began pet sitting when I was very young and have always loved it. I have special experience with caring for dogs with trauma and special situations. It is my privilege to meet those needs. I am available every weekday before 8:45 and every weeknight after 5pm. On weekends I have full day availability on Saturday and Sunday. Currently I am a happy lover of my two dogs and cats at home and my cat Tonka Truck. I usually begin my day with feeding and letting them out and repeat that after shifts. Apart from the usual litter box changes and feeding, it’s necessary to give my older dog medication in the middle of the day. These routines fit well in my life. I care for pets with a high degree of input from clients. While I do have a lot of experience with pet care, it is ultimately your baby and you know your pet best. Any suggestions, rules, and schedules are my privilege to abide by. I cannot care for pets in my own home due to the trauma needs of my own pets, but I am very conscious of house preferences and pet needs in clients’ homes. I am flexible with play schedules and meal times and have become efficient at administering medication from experience with my own dogs. About: My name is Paige and I am currently working at a local dog daycare where I have been employed since February 2017. I also work at a local boarding kennel and am a dog trainer there. I’ve worked there since January 2022. My dogs and I compete in dog sports (dock diving, disc, etc) as much as we can! I have even gotten some clients into it. I went to college for a year in Florida (Lynn University) and studied biology, taking part in their animal welfare club and the zoological society. I have several personal dogs, so safety is first and foremost for me. I frequently have at least two client dogs staying with me. I utilize crates, baby gates, and x-pens to ensure safety. We live on an acre and it is completely fenced in. If you are looking for a place to board your pup, but want a more intimate and home-like setting, look no further! Rest assured that your dog will be physically and mentally stimulated daily. Dogs are kept in 4’ x 4.5’ x 4.5’ runs with access to water 24/7. All runs include stall mats and/or Kuranda dog beds (cots)- which are great for the older guys and gals! Your dog will be let out at least 3x daily for a minimum of 30 minutes each time for potty breaks. Several hours are spent outside daily for group play if your dog tolerates it. Yard time includes anything and everything your pet loves to do: sniffing, exploring, fetch, pool time, basking in the sun, and playing with other pups (if they are ok with others!). Benebones are included with each run! Blankets/beds/toys are welcomed if your dog is not a chewer or shredder. Otherwise I provide dog-safe bedding. When dogs are not playing, they are resting in their 4.5 x 4.5ft x 4.5ft kennels with comfy raised cot beds (stall mats also available). Due to the large amount of dogs I have here (including my own), this is crucial for their safety and provides structure for all. I currently work split shifts between the daycare, boarding & training, which allows me to be home at random hours of the day to let dogs out. Quieter than a boarding kennel!!! And daycare included! Dogs are kept in spacious kennel runs with their very own comfy beds (personal stuff encouraged if not a shredder!) if they are not outside running around being crazy dogs. My yard is completely fenced.

I want you to be at comfort and ease while you’re away, so I always ask for a little note about your expectations of me, your pet(s) feeding schedule, walking schedule and typical routes, what is ok/not ok in regards to (being on the furniture, offering treats, jumping on people - I don’t mind being jumped on at all by a cute dog, but if that’s something you’re trying to train your dog NOT to do, please note that, for example, so I can contribute to your training rather than mess it up. My home is open to dogs (only one at a time) who are OK being around my cat, Oliver. He has been acclimated with dogs.. and I would typically keep them separated if you want me to watch them in my home. I have an apartment, and we have a nice dog park.. but do keep in mind; I might have to fluctuate your fees depending on what adjustments I may need to make to my home or lifestyle to accommodate your pet in my home temporarily! In your home, I am very respectable and trustworthy (with plenty of references so you feel comfortable).
