About: I had taken care of dogs of every kind since I was very young. I have relied on me to walked, feed and bathe their pets. I had also trained 2 dogs with some of the sign language as well to teach the animals to sit and stay with the American sign language. My friends and family have relied on me to take their dogs to the dog park, the beach and go on the morning hike. Just really take care of their animals with the love, respect and support for those need my help for them to enjoy their time or a getaway! I'm currently working from home on my own flexible schedule! I do have a lot of time in between working virtually and I can do my job anywhere! So if I take the dogs to the park or go on a walk, I could work on my phone to reply my emails, messages etc. I do have the good balance of taking a break from work to spend the time with the animals to give them my attention and cuddles and go on a walks or adventures! First thing first is to care the animals with respect, love and comfort to be in your home. If I was at your house, I am that person that will follow your wishes and expectations of how you would want me to care for your animals. I do clean up after myself when I am at your house and to keep it tidy clean as you like it to be. I also like to step outside with the dogs/cats to keep my eyes on them or even just being outside with them and play with their toys to give them my joyful attention. I love to have the transparency communication with the owners as well. I will always ask the owner before assuming or trying things out. I love to meet the animals before starting the whole process to feel it out how the energy goes for us and for your animals too. If it flows great with you, I and your animals then there will be lots of pictures will be shared to you as well!

About: I’ve been around animals since I was born. I’ve had a lot of experience with dogs, and I love to be around them. My favorite thing to do is to be with animals. I have my own Siberian Husky that I will need to drop in on occasionally I do work and have a dog of my own. But other then work and doctors appointments I am pretty free other than that. I love all animals and love getting new experiences. I would feed the pets, let them out every few hours. Keep them company, play with them take them for walks, anything that would be needed.

About: I have been around animals most of my life and currently care for several dogs of my own on our 20-acre farm just outside Hastings, Michigan. Dogs staying with me are treated like part of the family and live in a home environment rather than a kennel setting. Because I have experience managing multiple dogs at once, I understand pack behavior, supervision, feeding routines, and how to safely separate dogs when needed. I also have fenced areas, pasture space, and wooded land where dogs can safely explore and exercise. My goal is to provide a calm, safe place where dogs can run, play, relax, and get plenty of attention while their owners are away. I provide home-style dog daycare on our peaceful 20-acre farm just outside Hastings, Michigan. Because I care for dogs from home, I am able to supervise them throughout the day. Dogs enjoy time indoors with the family as well as supervised outdoor playtime on the property. I keep daycare small (maximum of 8 guest dogs) so every dog receives attention, exercise, and a calm environment. Dogs spend their day playing, exploring, relaxing, and socializing with the pack. Dogs in my care stay in a home environment rather than a kennel facility. They spend time indoors with the family and also enjoy supervised outdoor time on our farm, including fenced areas and open space to explore. Safety is very important, so I carefully monitor interactions between dogs and separate them if needed. Dogs may be crated briefly during feeding or rest times to prevent food aggression and allow quiet breaks. I limit daycare to a small group to keep the environment safe and manageable.

“Danielle and her Alaska Huskies were wonderful! She was fun and helpful and obviously loved my fur babies and set limits so they knew what was acceptable behavior on her turf! She was accommodating as well. One evening my class went overtime. She had no problem keeping my boys until I could be there. She communicated by text to let me know how they were doing each day. She allowed us to visit before our appointed time so my dogs could be introduced to her dogs. Danielle was wonderful! I highly recommend her!!”

About: I grew up on and farm and I’ve had animals my whole life. I believe animals make the best company. As of right now I only have a grand puppy. I recently lost my mini schnauzer she was 17 so I may be adding a new member to our family soon. I would like to spend sometime with your animals and spoil them. About: I am working on some pretty amazing updates. Additional outdoor yards are in the works, as well as a perimeter fence around the home property! I have also added Tracki to my collars. Tracki runs on global GPS (satellite feedback) and not cellular feedback, giving that extra security for your pups with no interruption in tracking! Bark & Barn is a privately insured in-home kennel that provides overnight and day boarding options as well as drop-in visits/walks for all pets, exotic included. I also provide optional training for dogs. I have five years of experience as a veterinary assistant in a high volume multi-species setting. With this, I have gained the knowledge, training, and experience in animal behavior as well as proper technique in safe animal hold, administering all forms of medication, administering emergency fluids, and animal CPR. Your pups will have access to multiple sections of my home, a fenced play yard, and walks over 120 acres of farm fields and streamed woods! I offer basic puppy training during board and day stays, including potty and crate training. I will gladly accept shark puppies, understanding completely how difficult these pups can be for many caretakers who are not experienced in their breed characteristics. I've worked with and owned dogs for over 17 years. I have a preference for high energy/high drive dogs, though I love all of them just the same. I am a farm mom of school aged children, work remotely, a full-time online student at KCC while my kids sleep, and have plenty of time to devote to your pets. I will follow strict biosecurity and safety measures. I am by no means a "doggy playcare". For their and my safety, I do not allow guest pups to interact together. I have sectioned off portions of my home and large basement for roam, and utilize sanitized in-home kennels for overnight and unattended times as well as movement of guests (inside, outside, walks, etc). I currently have full availability outside of school drop-off in the mornings and flexible pick-ups in the afternoon. I spend my free time caring for my own animals and attending online classes and seminars! I have a knack for social cues and when and how to approach. Discipline is and will always be reinforcement based. I have experience with reactive dogs and understand any dog can be reactive in the right setting, so meet and greets are a must! Our personal working dogs are not within the home's boundaries and remain with their flock at all times.
