About: I have been around animals most of my life and currently care for several dogs of my own on our 20-acre farm just outside Hastings, Michigan. Dogs staying with me are treated like part of the family and live in a home environment rather than a kennel setting. Because I have experience managing multiple dogs at once, I understand pack behavior, supervision, feeding routines, and how to safely separate dogs when needed. I also have fenced areas, pasture space, and wooded land where dogs can safely explore and exercise. My goal is to provide a calm, safe place where dogs can run, play, relax, and get plenty of attention while their owners are away. I provide home-style dog daycare on our peaceful 20-acre farm just outside Hastings, Michigan. Because I care for dogs from home, I am able to supervise them throughout the day. Dogs enjoy time indoors with the family as well as supervised outdoor playtime on the property. I keep daycare small (maximum of 8 guest dogs) so every dog receives attention, exercise, and a calm environment. Dogs spend their day playing, exploring, relaxing, and socializing with the pack. Dogs in my care stay in a home environment rather than a kennel facility. They spend time indoors with the family and also enjoy supervised outdoor time on our farm, including fenced areas and open space to explore. Safety is very important, so I carefully monitor interactions between dogs and separate them if needed. Dogs may be crated briefly during feeding or rest times to prevent food aggression and allow quiet breaks. I limit daycare to a small group to keep the environment safe and manageable.

About: I work from home and would love to hangout with your pets! I’ve always had pets in the home from cats to birds to dogs. Right now I have a ten year old cat who is in remission from diabetes so I’m trained in injections and medications. My dogs back in Texas are pit bulls so I’m used to large lovable doggies :) I work from home so pets don’t go unattended and always have someone to hangout with. I am free most weekends and my significant other is also home to help out with high energy pups. :) I have walking trails around my apartment and wooded areas out back. My partner and I love to go on walks when weather permitting and would love to take your furry friend with us.

She's home most of the time and just treats your dogs with genuine love and sweetness. I am moving too far to use her services again, but sad to say so, because our experience with her was just absolutely perfect. There may be sitters in the Battle Creek area that charge less, but having tried them with very mixed results - I assure you Deb is worth every penny!”

About: I had taken care of dogs of every kind since I was very young. I have relied on me to walked, feed and bathe their pets. I had also trained 2 dogs with some of the sign language as well to teach the animals to sit and stay with the American sign language. My friends and family have relied on me to take their dogs to the dog park, the beach and go on the morning hike. Just really take care of their animals with the love, respect and support for those need my help for them to enjoy their time or a getaway! I'm currently working from home on my own flexible schedule! I do have a lot of time in between working virtually and I can do my job anywhere! So if I take the dogs to the park or go on a walk, I could work on my phone to reply my emails, messages etc. I do have the good balance of taking a break from work to spend the time with the animals to give them my attention and cuddles and go on a walks or adventures! First thing first is to care the animals with respect, love and comfort to be in your home. If I was at your house, I am that person that will follow your wishes and expectations of how you would want me to care for your animals. I do clean up after myself when I am at your house and to keep it tidy clean as you like it to be. I also like to step outside with the dogs/cats to keep my eyes on them or even just being outside with them and play with their toys to give them my joyful attention. I love to have the transparency communication with the owners as well. I will always ask the owner before assuming or trying things out. I love to meet the animals before starting the whole process to feel it out how the energy goes for us and for your animals too. If it flows great with you, I and your animals then there will be lots of pictures will be shared to you as well!

About: Hi there! We're Sandy & Brad (& 16yo daughter, Clara) from Snowy River Farm in Freeport, MI. Our family has provided trusted pet & farm sitting service in the Kent, Barry & Ionia County areas for 6+ years. We've always had animals around whether it be dogs, cats, chickens, or sheep! We are a homeschooling family and we also work from home. Someone is almost always here! We're available to board dogs anytime we're not on vacation ourselves! We promise to treat your pet like family here at Snowy River Farm! Your pet will have the lower walkout level of the home to themselves. Brad works from home on that same level and we are all around very often. Our own small dogs will stay on a separate floor and not co-mingle your pet (unless specifically agreed by both parties). We can crate your dog(s) if that's your preference. Otherwise, a comfy chair with a blankie is just fine! ;-) *We prefer to do meet & greets first for everyone's benefit. Each dog we care for gets patient, loving, one-on-one attention tailored just for them. We’ll keep you connected with daily photo updates and little stories from their stay. About: Having grown up with Australian Shepherds and many cats, I enjoy discovering each pet’s quirks and habits. I take pride in giving individualized attention, affection, and care to every furry friend. I’ve also had experience caring for multiple dogs at once, having boarded up to three house dogs for several days. This taught me how to manage different personalities and provide consistent, attentive care. Pet care is part of my regular routine. I enjoy feeding, walking, and spending quality time with dogs, tailoring care to their personalities. As a part-time sitter, I’m available for boarding Tuesday and Friday nights, with drop-off and pick-up typically between 4–6 PM on weekdays and 9 AM–7 PM on weekends. I provide a safe, comfortable space for boarding dogs, including bedding, a crate or dog-proofed area, and toys for enrichment. Dogs are supervised and cared for with attention to their personality and comfort. Clients are welcome to bring any favorite toys or special items their dog prefers. I also love going for walks and can tailor to your high or low energy dog!
