About: I have had dogs and cats in my home for 50 years. I absolutely love pets, and treat them like they are just part of the family! I am retired so I have plenty of time to pet sit. I have always loved pets and would enjoy making sure your fur baby is content and happy. I live on a private road in a rural so traffic is mostly very minimal. However, I do leash walk pets so they are safe.

“I work from home, but had to travel for an all day training event. Luckily, Kim was able to keep my two Frenchies for the day. She sent so many great photos and updated me on how they were doing throughout the day. They came home happy, exhausted boys and snoozed the night away. Leaving our pups with anyone is such a very stressful event for us as our boys are family. Kim made the process less worrisome for us by sending the pictures, updates and quickly responding to my texts. We will be back! ?”

About: I have owned pets my entire life. Dogs, cats, birds, a snake-who is still with us. I currently have a golden retriever named Oakley. My grand dog, Moose also lives with us. He is a blood hound. Roz the ball python. We recently lost our beloved tuxedo cat at 20 years old. His name was Odie. I have owned high energy dogs-3 huskies, including one that was deaf towards the end of his life. Our pets are family, they are just furry humans! I currently work full time from home and I walk everyday. I would love to include your dog on my walks. I can also be available for check-ins and potty breaks if unable to walk d/t inclement weather. I have a large yard for running off leash or on an e-collar as well as a fenced area. Your pets will never be left unattended or unsupervised. Pets are family and are allowed to roam freely in our home. I can also crate your pet as desired for sleeping or if we have to leave the house briefly.

About: There is never been a time in my life with my family has not had a dog. Friends and family have always trusted me to watch over their house and pet(s) while they go away on vacations or needed trips. I thoroughly enjoy it, I’m happiest when I am giving to others. I’m also a very clean person and enjoy doing household tasks if I’m staying in a home as well as taking care of any pets. I enjoy going on many walks by myself and I am excited to incorporate a fun friend! My work schedule is flexible, so I’m available at varying times throughout the week to care for pets and take them on walks. This flexible schedule also makes it possible for me to care for pets in your home. I greatly respect my customers privacy. I am a very clean person and don’t hesitate to tidy up or clean a mess that I made or that I’ve noticed the Pet has made. My rule of thumb is to leave the pet happier than before I was there at the home cleaner!

About: I have been around animals most of my life and currently care for several dogs of my own on our 20-acre farm just outside Hastings, Michigan. Dogs staying with me are treated like part of the family and live in a home environment rather than a kennel setting. Because I have experience managing multiple dogs at once, I understand pack behavior, supervision, feeding routines, and how to safely separate dogs when needed. I also have fenced areas, pasture space, and wooded land where dogs can safely explore and exercise. My goal is to provide a calm, safe place where dogs can run, play, relax, and get plenty of attention while their owners are away. I provide home-style dog daycare on our peaceful 20-acre farm just outside Hastings, Michigan. Because I care for dogs from home, I am able to supervise them throughout the day. Dogs enjoy time indoors with the family as well as supervised outdoor playtime on the property. I keep daycare small (maximum of 8 guest dogs) so every dog receives attention, exercise, and a calm environment. Dogs spend their day playing, exploring, relaxing, and socializing with the pack. Dogs in my care stay in a home environment rather than a kennel facility. They spend time indoors with the family and also enjoy supervised outdoor time on our farm, including fenced areas and open space to explore. Safety is very important, so I carefully monitor interactions between dogs and separate them if needed. Dogs may be crated briefly during feeding or rest times to prevent food aggression and allow quiet breaks. I limit daycare to a small group to keep the environment safe and manageable.

About: I grew up on and farm and I’ve had animals my whole life. I believe animals make the best company. As of right now I only have a grand puppy. I recently lost my mini schnauzer she was 17 so I may be adding a new member to our family soon. I would like to spend sometime with your animals and spoil them. I live inKalamazoo in a pet friendly condo complex with not only an extensive yard but with walking trails near by. I’m very comfortable with opening my home to Your pet and making them feel like they belong. I already have plenty of toys and things to keep them busy. I am force free/fear free. I don’t use any aversives with any animal. I follow the most up to date animal science and firmly believe that through positive reinforcement and giving animals agency to opt in or out of most situations is the best way to be in relationship with them. I have been caring for animals professionally since 2019, and am very passionate about animal care and am excited to get to know you and your fur babes! My first love was a husky mix named Dutchess. I was a rough and tumble three-year-old and she looked like a furry loaf of bread with rolled up newspapers for legs, who never let me out of her sight until the day she crossed over the rainbow bridge. And thus began my love affair with pretty much all animals. Each pet has their own unique personality and style. I adapt to your pet's needs and wants. If they want cuddles, if they want space, if they want to run around in the back yard and play catch or tug-o-war then that is what we are going to do!
