“John and wife were amazing, super friendly, responsive and LUNA cane home super happy as opposed as previous times we let her in the veterinary boarding. Thank you so much!”

“This was my second time booking with Nicole, before I could even shut my car door my dog was racing to the house with excitement. Nicole sends photo and video updates so you rest assure your fur baby is having fun and being loved.”
“We were fortunate to find Raven to care for Carmella while away for the weekend. She provided us with a video that eased our worries and Carmella seemed her usual happy self upon our return. We would definitely rebook with Raven again!”

“Thank you Beka and Ryan, for taking such wonderful care of Sandie. It gives me such peace of mind to know that when I can go away, that she is just like at home with you. I very much appreciate all you do. Lisa”

“Our dog has stayed with Elisheba and her family multiple times. We greatly appreciate their care and attention. She sends us daily updates while she is with them.”
“Absolutely perfect with my senior dog. Kept me updated on everything. Sent pictures when asked. And even smoothed over my overthinking of her stay. Nicole will make sure your family member is safe while you are away. Will be using her when needed in the future.”

“Cooper enjoyed his stay with Kathleen and family! Great communication to let me know how he was doing and also sent pictures. Would definitely trust Cooper in their care again!”

About: Working as a veterinarian assistant at an animal hospital provided me with the experience and confidence to care for your pet. I've also been a pet owner my entire life, so I understand just how important your furry best friends are to you and your family. If you board your dog in my home, I'm home every day during the week, so I have plenty of time to provide care for your pets individual needs throughout the day. I love all living things and learning about each one. I have a house that's a short distance to Winton Woods and the West Fork Dam with a fenced yard. I only take one pet at a time to ensure the health and safety of your pets and mine. They'll have a couch to lay on and their own access to the fenced yard. Your dog will get a daily walk, playtime, and of course cuddles if they want them! If you have any questions or requests please ask!
“Kimberly was amazing! She provided regular updates and photos, and made sure our puppy’s schedule wasn’t too heavily impacted during our leave. Her home is set up to keep our puppy comfortable, safe, and secure. Her dog Tony was very nice too.”

“Colleen kept me updated constantly with texts and photos. Paisley was very nervous and Colleen did great keeping Paisley calm and Paisley was able to feel more comfortable quickly. Colleen treated Paisley as if she was her own dog, even sent Paisley home with a goodie bag!! We will definitely use Colleen again!”

“Onyx had the best time with Taylor and Brian and their sweet dog Shiloh! He typically lives in an apartment so he was thrilled to have access to a fenced in yard. Taylor and Brian were very kind to accommodate a last-minute extra night’s stay after our travel plans home went awry. They were very sweet and understanding.”

“Awesome job. Very friendly and volunteered to bring my puppies to me when he got called into work and was not able to be there for my original pick up time. He even sang happy birthday to my boys as it was their first birthday that I was picking them up on. Big fenced yard.”

“Brie is a wonderful new friend to our Luna Cat, and we consider ourselves lucky to have found her. From the many pictures we received nearly daily, clearly she was having a fantastic time, showing tell-TAIL signs that she was secure, confident, active, & engaged. Brie is a thoughtful and fantastic communicator, and such a genuine individual, she is a pleasure to know and be surrogate mommy for our little furry companion.”

“OMG! We could NOT be happier with Rebecca and Aaron!!! We highly recommend them!!!! This was our first time leaving Sadie, our 14-month-old Portuguese Water Dog, with a sitter and not a kennel. The breed in general is super active and needs a lot of stimulation, not to mention Sadie is a puppy so we have had a hard time finding a good fit - until now! She was just miserable staying in the other kennels without individualized attention and having to sleep alone. Luckily, Rebecca and Aaron are just the opposite and we could not be more thankful! Sadie had fun socializing with their pups but, more importantly, she got one-on-one human attention and snuggles constantly! She even got to sleep with them at night. Sadie had been spayed a week before her stay with them but I was confident after meeting them that Rebecca and Aaron would take care of our girl (who still needed to wear her cone) during her recovery. While we were away they sent lots of pictures to keep us updated on how she was doing. Knowing Sadie was happy for sure really helped us enjoy our time away without having to worry. Thank you SO, SO much R&A!!!”

“So happy we found Chrissy! I was very worried about leaving my doggy alone, but she made the experience very enjoyable. She sent me pictures of my dog every day and was easy to contact. I would recommend!”

“Jill was a wonderful sitter for my dog while I was out of town. She was able to help out on short notice when my regular sitters were unavailable. She made sure my dog was well cared for, got plenty of attention, and took him for walks every day. She was also very communicative and provided me with picture and video updates every day. I would absolutely reccomend her!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Beckett Ridge
Luffy had a wonderful weekend! She seemed sad to leave and come back home, actually. John was extremely attentive and communicated with us throughout her stay. We were happy to receive daily pictures and updates. We will definitely be boarding again if John is available!

Lucky’s stay with Andrea went very well. He was happy and well cared for. She did a great job of updating me every day with photos. She takes a lot of care to find out the exact needs and routine and make sure everything goes well. Would recommend and would definitely use her again.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Beckett Ridge home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Beckett Ridge.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Beckett Ridge sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
