She was super accommodating and helpful, taking him in just hours after us contacting her very last minute while stressed trying to figure out what to do with him. Taking in his “puppy shenanigans” and all like he was one of her own. Amber made sure to keep me updated about how his was doing helping to ease my mind of having him away from home for the first time. Sending me pictures/videos and messages about how his day was going. She also took the time to make sure that my pup was comfortable and entertained. Taking him on walks and being able to run around and play in the yard. Letting him go at his own pace and doing what made him feel safe when he didn’t like the rain or was was scared by her dog at first (he wasn’t the biggest one around anymore and couldn’t terrorize/annoy every living thing like he normally likes to do). She even went the extra mile to wash his bed after an accident over night and have him and all of his stuff packed up nicely and ready to go for me when I got there. My little boy loved playing with her and her family. And having the other dogs around for him to interact with was a bonus. When I tell you he was so excited when he first met them that I didn’t even get a second look over the shoulder or a goodbye before he took off to play with one of the kids ? (I’m still emotionally processing his betrayal ?). I could not recommend Amber enough! Your pet will be greatly taken care of (Not to mention worn out….he’s been napping since the moment we put him in the car) and all of your worries will fade the moment you get there.”

I offer personalized, in-home boarding for dogs who do best in a calm, low-stress environment. I have no resident pets and board only one household at a time, so your dog gets plenty of individual attention without having to share their space with unfamiliar dogs. I have more than 20 years of experience owning and caring for dogs and have also fostered dogs for rescue. I especially love caring for small breeds, senior dogs, shy or sensitive dogs, and dogs who may feel overwhelmed in a traditional kennel or busy multi-dog boarding environment. My home has a securely fenced yard for potty breaks and outdoor time, and dogs are welcome to make themselves comfortable here—including on the furniture and in bed if that’s what they’re accustomed to at home. I try to follow each dog’s normal routine as closely as possible, including meals, walks, sleeping arrangements, and all those little things that help them feel secure. Your dog won’t be placed into a group of unfamiliar boarding dogs. This is a quiet home environment rather than a kennel or doggy daycare. Small, senior & sensitive dogs welcome I have a special place in my heart for little dogs and seniors, but I’m happy to consider dogs of all sizes who are a good fit for my home. Safety First Dogs don’t need to enjoy playing or socializing with other dogs. However, they do need to be safely manageable if we unexpectedly encounter another dog during walks, drop-offs, or normal daily activities. For safety and insurance reasons, I cannot accept dogs with a known history of aggression, biting, or attacks toward people or other animals. Let’s make sure we’re a good match I would love to do a meet-and-greet with your dog. It’s a chance for me to get to know your dog, learn about their personality and routine, and make sure everyone feels comfortable before their stay. My goal is simple: while you’re away, I want your dog to feel like they’re staying at a friend’s house—not like they’re being sent to a boarding facility. ❤️ I currently work a full-time job Monday -Friday, 8:00 - 4:30. I’m a homebody type who would love just hanging out with your dog(s). I have a securely fenced yard and plenty of room in my house for your dog to be comfortable. About: I’m a huge animal lover. I have had dogs since I was 5 and trained each one. Love going on walks and going to the park with them. Give them my full attention and care. I’ve volunteered at the humane society before and have also worked on a game reserve. Received a bachelor’s in biology and worked for a vet clinic for 2 years, so your pet will get all the care and love it needs and much more. I’ll make sure your pet is comfortable and happy. I will continue to train dog as well as needed with permission. Very outgoing and bubbly girl with a passion to help out people as well as animals in anyway I can. I have open availability during the week and weekends so I have plenty of time to play with your fur kiddo. I’ll work with your schedule the best my ability to meet your care needs and desires. I have a dog park within a few miles of my apartment complex so your pup will have plenty of space to run and play. I also have a loving 5 year old husky and 2 year old pitbull that will keep your kiddo company and have endless play. While at your home I’ll care for your pet as my own and continue to provide training if need be. If your pet is crate trained I have no problem crating. If pet on medication, I’m very capable to give pets meds to both cats and dogs.

About: Hey everyone I’m Emma! I grew up on a farm and have worked with so many different animals species. I love working with dogs and can do lots of different training exercises with your dogs. I have worked with both large and small dogs, and dogs of all ages. I used to foster dogs, and train them up for their forever homes! I work at the USDA Mondays through Friday 8am -4:30 pm. Most weekends I will be at home all day. I currently have no pets of my own, so your pet will be my full attention! I live out on a farm, so there is a large yard for you pets to run around. I have a kennel for smaller dogs and a puppy play pen already from fostering as well as basic food dishes, toys, treats, etc.
