“David was/is amazing! Why? He was responsive and accommodating. His extensive knowledge of dogs was clear when we met him - we knew our pups were in good hands. We received daily updates and in each photo the dogs looked like they were having the time of their lives and/or taking a nap on David’s lap 😂. We live downtown Madison and I could tell our pups enjoyed the beautiful country property as they came back tired and content! As a former Rover, I would highly recommend David to anyone looking for a sitter. 10/10!!”

“Amber was amazing! Her and her family helped take great care of my 3 month old pup for a few days while we were in the process of moving. She was super accommodating and helpful, taking him in just hours after us contacting her very last minute while stressed trying to figure out what to do with him. Taking in his “puppy shenanigans” and all like he was one of her own. Amber made sure to keep me updated about how his was doing helping to ease my mind of having him away from home for the first time. Sending me pictures/videos and messages about how his day was going. She also took the time to make sure that my pup was comfortable and entertained. Taking him on walks and being able to run around and play in the yard. Letting him go at his own pace and doing what made him feel safe when he didn’t like the rain or was was scared by her dog at first (he wasn’t the biggest one around anymore and couldn’t terrorize/annoy every living thing like he normally likes to do). She even went the extra mile to wash his bed after an accident over night and have him and all of his stuff packed up nicely and ready to go for me when I got there. My little boy loved playing with her and her family. And having the other dogs around for him to interact with was a bonus. When I tell you he was so excited when he first met them that I didn’t even get a second look over the shoulder or a goodbye before he took off to play with one of the kids ? (I’m still emotionally processing his betrayal ?). I could not recommend Amber enough! Your pet will be greatly taken care of (Not to mention worn out….he’s been napping since the moment we put him in the car) and all of your worries will fade the moment you get there.”

About: Although new to Rover as a sitter, we've used Rover frequently for our boys. I've had pets (cats, dogs, fish) ever since I was 14. I don't have special certs but have done puppy classes and have successfully trained our dogs since! One being a Shiba Inu if you know how stubborn they are 😉. I currently have two bernese mountain dogs and love furry friends from small to extra large! I've done drop ins and in home in the past. Im currently mostly a SAHM! I am a RN but only work 16hrs a month. I will have ample time to be at home with all pets. I have a fenced yard (6ft chain linked) and two neutered boys to keep your pets company. I can also always go for walks, fill a small kiddie pool for the dogs to play in, and whatever else your pup enjoys! I can crate as well if need be and tons of pictures can and will always be sent.

They usually have separation anxiety with any sitter, even in my home. It was such a relief that they didn't follow me to the door. I could tell from the photos and videos during their stay and at pick up that they were genuinely happy. It means so much that I know that my little guys are truly cared for! As a single dog mom, dog sitting eats into my budget, but a great experience is a worthy investment in their long-term well being.”

About: I have grown up with all kinds of animals, dogs being the main one. Love carin for dogs and always making them feel loved, even when owners may have to be away. What better way to spoil your pet then to make sure they have a great day too! I am the kind of person that would go to a party and hang out with the dog. I have excoerience in caring for both people and animals and hope that I may be able to help care for more. I will always be focused on what you are looking for for your dog and making sure that they get the time and love they deserve each day. Hope to talk to you soon. ? ❤️ We are a working household but have staggered start and end times so very little time is left alone. During that time dogs can remain out if possible or can be crated. Our dogs are crate trained for this time as well, though not always done. We have two friendly, though large dogs to keep yours company. We also have 2 cats, but can be placed in a different area of the house as needed. Have 2 meal times per day and can adjust to fit needs. Always have water available and frequent outside time.
