Amber is amazing! She has so much love and patience for my dog gunner, on walks. This is the first time I’ve ever had anyone else provide care for gunner and I’m glad I picked just the right person. She even met my other two dogs and they loved her as well. I highly recommend her.

About: Hi! I’m Janessa! I am a passionate dog lover with years of experience caring for pups of all sizes and breeds. I enjoy spending time outdoors and ensuring every dog has a fun and safe walk. Reliable, friendly, and always ready for an adventure with your furry friend! I am currently working with seniors so my schedule can vary everyday, however I am almost always free in the afternoon until the next day as well. I can come to your house and do daycare there if need be. As my own is not always an option. Message me, thank you!

About: I’m a huge dog lover and I’m living in a non pet friendly apartment so I need some puppy time. I love the outdoors, so getting your dog outside is the best of both worlds for me. I also love running and would be happy to run your dog if you’d prefer that. I walked my neighbors dogs in high school and I’ve had dogs all my life. I work full time so I’m really looking for weekend gigs, but I’m also free most weekdays after 4:15. I can also do early mornings but it would have to be in Beaver Dam from 5:15-6:15 Not looking to dog sit, but I’d be happy to sit down and have a conversation with anyone who is concerned about the safety of themselves or their dogs.

About: Give your dog a fun 30-minute walk around town or on a local trail. I welcome multiple dogs, and every walk provides exercise, exploration, and mental enrichment. ( and some yummy treats ) My 30-minute pet check-ins provide potty breaks, meals, walks, and quality playtime, ensuring your furry friends stay comfortable and loved while you're away. Pictures are included with each walk/visit! I have worked in a dog daycare/boarding facility for the past 3 years with dogs of all sizes and breeds. I have over 5 years of experience with dogs of my own. I spend lots of time taking them on walks and hikes. I have experience to care for your senior pups and administering medication, as well. My favorite thing to is walk dogs and I can work with your pup on leash manners. I am also open to working with aggressive and/or reactive dogs. Can't wait to meet some new furry friends! I work a full time job about 30 hours a week. I am looking to walk/sit your pets in the evenings and some weekday/weekend availability depending on my hours. I am also open to holiday care. I won't be offering care in my home, but I will carefully follow all of the care instructions for your pups and cats and be sure to send you updates on the visits/walks.

Amanda is amazing and my dog loves when she takes him for walks while I'm at work. She always gives me an update and let's me know how the walk went and even takes a moment to say hello to my kitty and gives him some TLC. She is much appreciated as I know I don't have to worry about my boys while working long days.

Rita is amazing!! She has a true love for animals and you can tell that she enjoys being with them! My Cali (English springer spaniel) can be stubborn and playful. Rita took the time to let Cali warm up and come to her and she was patient when Cali wanted to play "tag" instead of going on a walk. I've only ever trusted my sister to take care of Cali. I'm so grateful and happy that I found Rita and can add her to my list of trusted people! Thank you for everything!!

About: I have a dog named Lola, she is 14 years old and is a schnauzer. I love taking care of her and going for walks with her. I have a lot of patience with her because she likes to sniff and leave a trail everywhere. I like to analyze the type of fun each dog has, whether it is sniffing, playing or running. I’m currently working in first shift, I’m available every days, weekdays after 3:30pm and weekends until noon. I would like to fit in your dogs schedules At home I have my little dog called Lola, she is calm and friendly, she is 14 years old so she is not a problem for any dog, I play with the dogs and their toys and I go out for walks with the dogs, I like to take her to the dog park which is enclosed and large.

About: Had cats all my life and dogs for last 12 years. Animals have a sixth sense about people and I'm one of those they seek out for rubs, cuddles, playtime, snacks and love... I will only be able to care for pets at your home as we currently have 2 cats (one who is very persnickedy) and a senior dog rescue who is going blind and is afraid of everyone.

About: I have been around dogs my whole life and am now a proud owner for the past 1.5 years! I’m around 1-2 times throughout a typical work day to let my puppy out. She rules this house so no furniture or beds are off limits, which is extended to all the dogs that come into my home (I’ve recently become the extended family dog sitter due to my work schedule). Monday’s-Thursdays I am home 1-2 times during the typical work day for about a half hour each time. Fridays and weekends I’m typically home most of the day, maybe running errands here and there. Allie rules the house here! She is allowed on furniture and beds and this would extend to your baby too. We spend a lot of time outside with water always available and I’m always out with her. We have tons of toys and she doesn’t mind sharing them.

Brandi was great with my 3 dogs. She was on time. Was able to meet the dogs and I before the first day. There was an issue with the neighbors dog jumping my fence when she was out with my 3 dogs. She handled the situation very well! She sent me a lot of pictures also! I would have Brandi come back and take care of my dogs again!.

About: I have helped my family take care of our pets almost my whole life! Since moving out I’ve had my own pets (cats and dogs). I understand the importance of giving your pet attention while you’re gone, since they could be stressed with the change in routine! I’m a farm girl at heart! I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, horses, donkeys, sheep, ducks, chickens, cows, pigs, rats, hamsters….you name it! I work from home so I’m available to spend time with your pets throughout the day! As long as I have access to Wi-Fi I can work from anywhere! I am comfortable with crate training if your pet needs it. I follow direction very well so just leave me with a detailed note on how things run and I’ll keep it as consistent as possible for your pet!

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life, growing up with dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, fish, and even a tarantula, animals have always been such an important part of my life. Even though they can’t talk, they quickly become your best friend and constant companion. I believe every animal deserves to be treated with love, kindness, and the best care possible, no matter their age, size, or breed. Over the years, I’ve gained experience with everything from training playful puppies to helping care for senior dogs, including giving medications and basic health care. I also adopted my two kittens when they were just four months old, and they’re now happy, healthy three-and-a-half-year-olds. Caring for animals isn’t just something I do, it’s something I truly enjoy. Hi there! I’m new to Mayville and have open availability to walk, play with, and care for your furry loved ones. I always make sure fresh food and clean water are provided, with bowls cleaned regularly to keep everything sanitary. Whether it’s brushing, playing fetch, going on nice long walks, or just giving them lots of attention and love—your pet’s happiness and care are my top priority! I make sure that my cats home environment is safe for them to roam and not get into too much mischief. Water bowls are cleaned. Food is rotated. Pee pads are changed out and litter is changed once a month while cleaning litter box out daily. I am sure that my cats live in a safe environment and are happy and healthy.

About: I have always had dogs in the household ever since I was born. More specifically my family had my sister and I grow up around Black Labs the entirety of my life. Neighbors as well as my immediate family have relied on me to take care of their animals. Whether it be a short walk or staying with them for an extended period of time, I was their guy! I have an extremely open/flexible schedule. I am self employed so I pretty much choose when I want to work my other job. Taking care of animals via Rover will take top priority unless my job situation changes. If that occurs I will make sure to update my profile accordingly! I have no other animals/roommates in my apartment. So your dog/cat will get all the undivided love and attention they deserve while you're away. Same rules apply if I am asked to dog/cat sit at a clients home!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
