She was super accommodating and helpful, taking him in just hours after us contacting her very last minute while stressed trying to figure out what to do with him. Taking in his “puppy shenanigans” and all like he was one of her own. Amber made sure to keep me updated about how his was doing helping to ease my mind of having him away from home for the first time. Sending me pictures/videos and messages about how his day was going. She also took the time to make sure that my pup was comfortable and entertained. Taking him on walks and being able to run around and play in the yard. Letting him go at his own pace and doing what made him feel safe when he didn’t like the rain or was was scared by her dog at first (he wasn’t the biggest one around anymore and couldn’t terrorize/annoy every living thing like he normally likes to do). She even went the extra mile to wash his bed after an accident over night and have him and all of his stuff packed up nicely and ready to go for me when I got there. My little boy loved playing with her and her family. And having the other dogs around for him to interact with was a bonus. When I tell you he was so excited when he first met them that I didn’t even get a second look over the shoulder or a goodbye before he took off to play with one of the kids ? (I’m still emotionally processing his betrayal ?). I could not recommend Amber enough! Your pet will be greatly taken care of (Not to mention worn out….he’s been napping since the moment we put him in the car) and all of your worries will fade the moment you get there.”
“Our one year old german shepherd mix absolutely LOVED Ruby Paws! Ruby truly treats each pup as if it was her own. Her experience handling animals kept my mind at ease. Drop off and pick up went so smooth. My dog literally slept the remainder of the day upon pickup so I know she had fun :) BONUS - She sends daily snap chats of what your pup and her crew does throughout the day! Pricing is comparable to others in the area. Ruby also hosts other services (bathing, nail trimming, haircuts, etc.) with a salon on sight. I will definitely be rebooking with Ruby Paws!”
“Our 2 dogs stayed at Sarah's for about a week earlier this month. The stay was great! We got daily updates, including photos and videos. They have a fantastic large fenced in yard where they could safety run and play. They had lots of playtime, but also lots of snuggles and love. They were both clearly enjoying their own vacation at Sarah's while we were gone on ours. It was so refreshing to know they were so well cared for while we were away- we have already rebooked them for our next trip!”

About: I am a huge dog lover. I love all kinds of dogs and have grown up with all different kinds of dogs of varying size and temperment. My family has had 2 havanese dogs and 2 newfoundlands so I have experience with a variety of sizes. Recently, I lost my soul dog, Max. Max was a shepherd mix and was my whole world. My husband and I had Max since he was a puppy and are looking to get our dog fix by helping out others. We understand the stress finding care for your dog can create, and we would love to help provide a safe and fun environment for your dog when you need it. We have a large yard (unfenced) and safe neighborhood for walks. We also have 2 children, aged 5 and 3. I am a stay at home mom, so I am available most of the time from home any given week. I have 2 children, aged 5 and 3, and they would love to help care for and love on a doggy. I have a large, unfenced yard in a quiet, safe, and dog friendly neighborhood. Our dog Max was always free to run around the yard without any issues. Dogs are allowed inside, on our furniture and I still have Max’s dog bed for use as well. About: I have grown up with all kinds of animals, dogs being the main one. Love carin for dogs and always making them feel loved, even when owners may have to be away. Our dogs are crate trained for this time as well, though not always done. We have two friendly, though large dogs to keep yours company. We also have 2 cats, but can be placed in a different area of the house as needed. Have 2 meal times per day and can adjust to fit needs. Always have water available and frequent outside time.

About: Growing up there was always a cat in my home ane the homes of many friends and relatives, so I picked up my litterbox-cleaning skills at a very young age. I didn't want those skills to go to "waste" so I gave three kittens a home when I moved out. They lived very long and very awesome lives under my care. It wasn't too long after they all passed away before I found three new feline roommates. My sister has me beat with four. (The last pic shows my grandpa with the cat he befriended in Sicily during WWII, so it runs in the family.) With cats, it's all about the varying boundaries they maintain and respecting them.

Additionally, I have a degree in animal and dairy science and spent half a year as a veterinary assistant at a clinic. About: I’ve taken care of a handful of dogs in the past 5 years. Adopting a dog 5 years ago, to adopting another little black lab this past year! I trained him up to be a good duck and pheasant hunter within the past year, he turns 1 in April 2025. I’m able to point out different things dogs could work on and fix issues! I love taking dogs on walks, car rides, even stopping in just to give someone company. I’m currently working full time, usually home around 3pm everyday. I am located in Beaver Dam Wisconsin. I take care of my dog when I’m home, he’s trained well enough to sit alone at times without destroying anything. Usually take him out after work on a nice walk or a nice open field to play fetch on. I’m Monday-Friday for my work, home around 3pm everyday. I cannot bring any dogs to my apartment per landlord rules for too many pets, but would totally take visits to houses who needs their dogs looked after. I am comfortable around all breeds, and sizes. I am very familiar with the “life of a dog” when it comes to feeding, walking, going outside to the bathroom, and knowing when something is too much for a dog!

About: I’ve had cats and dogs since I was four years old. Our family cares for our dogs deeply, meaning they get lots of walks and lots of love! My family and I recently just lost our fifteen year old dog Lucky due to old age, and that was hard for me. Through Lucky’s last years we gave him insulin twice a day, meaning I am very experienced in giving medicine to dogs. Im currently in school, so I usually walk my dog when I get home from school, and feed him dinner. On the weekends we take him for lots of hikes. School gets out in June, and I will be completely available after that, but currently I could only help on weekends and after 4pm on weekdays. I have a fenced yard with a five year old medium sized dog named Ferris, who just lost our older dog Lucky, and is missing his best friend, meaning he would love a playmate! About: Hello I have been taking care of all sorts of pets since I was very young! I have experience with potty training, crate training, walking, and lots of play time. I also can give any puppers bath if need be. I also have experience with cats and many other small animals. I am free all week as I stay home with my 4 kiddos. I have 2 young kids that are 2 and 3 years old and my other 2 are 9 and 12. I always make sure that my pets and anyone else's pets are fed at a certain time, made sure they get their walks and exercise, but also make sure they get their cuddle time as well. About a year and a half ago we added another rescue, Buckley Quinn. He is a smart but goofy boy. They both go backpacking with us and we do a lot of hiking on our local public land areas. We enjoy playing around in our yard with our limited dog agility set and learning new tricks. We occasionally go swimming but love jumping and exploring new water areas and hiking trails. Wila and Buckley are a huge part of my life. We enjoy hiking, being outdoor, and traveling as much as possible. We do quite a but of training included but not limited to: agility, scent training, shed training, and just some fun party tricks. About: I genuine care and give attention to every dog as if they were my own. I’m patient, reliable, and attentive to each dog’s individual needs. I’m comfortable working with puppies who are still learning routines, including basic training and potty schedules, and I’m also gentle and mindful with senior dogs who may need slower walks, medication reminders, or extra comfort. About: Hello! We recently had to put our elderly bernedoodle, Holly, down so we are hoping to fill a doggie void in our house! She was very loved and very missed. We have three children so your dog must be mild tempered towards kids. They are very much looking forward to "babysitting" some dogs! About: I’m a huge dog lover and I’m living in a non pet friendly apartment so I need some puppy time. I love the outdoors, so getting your dog outside is the best of both worlds for me. I also love running and would be happy to run your dog if you’d prefer that. I walked my neighbors dogs in high school and I’ve had dogs all my life. I work full time so I’m really looking for weekend gigs, but I’m also free most weekdays after 4:15. About: I have a dog named Lola, she is 14 years old and is a schnauzer. I love taking care of her and going for walks with her. I have a lot of patience with her because she likes to sniff and leave a trail everywhere. I like to analyze the type of fun each dog has, whether it is sniffing, playing or running. About: Hi ! As I am home for summer , I would love to be able to watch any animals , any size is okay ! I have grown up with large dogs most of my life but I am okay with any size and age. I am a college student athlete at Winona State University going into my Junior year next semester! I am also a nanny in the summers so I am very flexible when it comes to times or days ! I am also a nanny in the summer which means I have can have very flexible hours ! I am also very active, walks, runs etc. I have a fenced in yard and a pool ! But also I have a dog and my mom has a dog they are both loving and will keep your animal company!
About: I have been around dogs my whole life and am now a proud owner for the past 1.5 years! I’m around 1-2 times throughout a typical work day to let my puppy out. She rules this house so no furniture or beds are off limits, which is extended to all the dogs that come into my home (I’ve recently become the extended family dog sitter due to my work schedule). Monday’s-Thursdays I am home 1-2 times during the typical work day for about a half hour each time. Fridays and weekends I’m typically home most of the day, maybe running errands here and there. Allie rules the house here! She is allowed on furniture and beds and this would extend to your baby too. We spend a lot of time outside with water always available and I’m always out with her. We have tons of toys and she doesn’t mind sharing them.

About: Had cats all my life and dogs for last 12 years. Animals have a sixth sense about people and I'm one of those they seek out for rubs, cuddles, playtime, snacks and love... I'm not currently working so I'm available for any time through the remainder of this April within 30 miles of my town. Amber made sure to keep me updated about how his was doing helping to ease my mind of having him away from home for the first time. Sending me pictures/videos and messages about how his day was going. She also took the time to make sure that my pup was comfortable and entertained. Taking him on walks and being able to run around and play in the yard. Letting him go at his own pace and doing what made him feel safe when he didn’t like the rain or was was scared by her dog at first (he wasn’t the biggest one around anymore and couldn’t terrorize/annoy every living thing like he normally likes to do). She even went the extra mile to wash his bed after an accident over night and have him and all of his stuff packed up nicely and ready to go for me when I got there. My little boy loved playing with her and her family. And having the other dogs around for him to interact with was a bonus. When I tell you he was so excited when he first met them that I didn’t even get a second look over the shoulder or a goodbye before he took off to play with one of the kids ? (I’m still emotionally processing his betrayal ?). I could not recommend Amber enough! Your pet will be greatly taken care of (Not to mention worn out….he’s been napping since the moment we put him in the car) and all of your worries will fade the moment you get there.”

Drop off and pick up went so smooth. About: I am a huge dog lover. I love all kinds of dogs and have grown up with all different kinds of dogs of varying size and temperment. My family has had 2 havanese dogs and 2 newfoundlands so I have experience with a variety of sizes. Recently, I lost my soul dog, Max. Max was a shepherd mix and was my whole world. My husband and I had Max since he was a puppy and are looking to get our dog fix by helping out others. We understand the stress finding care for your dog can create, and we would love to help provide a safe and fun environment for your dog when you need it. We have a large yard (unfenced) and safe neighborhood for walks. We also have 2 children, aged 5 and 3. I am a stay at home mom, so I am available most of the time from home any given week. I have 2 children, aged 5 and 3, and they would love to help care for and love on a doggy. I have a large, unfenced yard in a quiet, safe, and dog friendly neighborhood. Our dog Max was always free to run around the yard without any issues. Dogs are allowed inside, on our furniture and I still have Max’s dog bed for use as well. I am also happy to pop in by your house to walk your dog if that’s needed.

Our dogs are crate trained for this time as well, though not always done. We have two friendly, though large dogs to keep yours company. We also have 2 cats, but can be placed in a different area of the house as needed. Have 2 meal times per day and can adjust to fit needs. Always have water available and frequent outside time.
