“She agreed to meet me and my critters. The other two are fine with strangers. Buddy thinks everyone is her friend. Bella the cat is happy as long as her routine is kept and she is fed. Maggie Mays skeptical of others outside her circle. Amber understood this and knew how to deal with Maggie’s howling and barking at her. Maggie May had pictures of her obviously pouting because I wasn’t there but she was treated very well. I could tell and she was totally fine when I came home. Though she followed me around for awhile and checked out my suitcase. lol Also Amber kept the litter box clean while I was gone. One of the jobs I hated doing so that was very nice! She was quick to respond to me and she was wonderful with my girls. I would definitely use her again.”

About: Grew up with dogs and cats my whole life. Started pet and house sitting in my early teen years for dogs of all shapes and sizes as well as cats, fish and turtles. Additionally, I have a degree in animal and dairy science and spent half a year as a veterinary assistant at a clinic. I work a full- time job that is typically 8am-4:30pm with some earlier mornings and nights as needed. But schedule can be somewhat flexible to fit your needs! I’d love to care for whatever your pet needs, walking, playing, feeding or just spend some time with them. I’m comfortable taking care of any special needs for your pets as well such as treats, meds, crating etc. and always making sure they are safe, secure and well taken care of!
“I wasn't sure what to expect, but Destiny was a great sitter for Sylvester! She took care of his needs per my instructions. Her communications were timely and informative. Highly recommend. 🙂”

“McKenna was amazing with our fur babies. She was patient with my skittish cat and my very energetic pooch. I’m glad they were both so friendly with her, my pets avoid most if not all people so she had the right energy for my very skeptical kids. If you want your fur babies to feel safe and welcomed she’s the person to pick. She follows your notes perfectly if you leave any for her! I hope to book her again seeing as my pets were so warm to her.”

“Katie was amazing with our 2 cats! They came out to greet her each time she stopped by and she was extremely attentive, respectful, and responsive. Katie was there when she said she would be and provided top-notch feedback/updates. It was our first time using a sitter that wasn’t a friend or family and we were so happy we went with her! Absolutely will be contacting Katie again for future needs!”
“Ashley did a wonderful job watching our dogs while we were on vacation. She dropped in several times a day to care for them. She's prompt on communication and photo updates. I really enjoyed seeing what the dogs were up to each time she dropped in. I knew they were in good hands with Ashley while we were away!”

“Shatoria was absolutely awesome! She stopped in to check on my cat Olivine while my roommate and I were away for the weekend. During our initial visit, Shatoria asked a ton of questions about Olivine and her routine, some that I hadn’t even thought to bring up, which was great. During the actual visit, she passed along lots of photos of Olivine with her update. She also took a photo of her automatic feeder so I could see how Olivine had been eating, which I appreciated. I had never hired a pet sitter before, so that came with some anxiety, but Shatoria made me confident that I was leaving Olivine in great hands! I definitely know who to come to if we ever need any more help with Olivine in the future.”

“Awesome sitter and very communicative! Was a great help on short notice and we we're never worried about our cat's medications/feeding schedules! I would recommend Travis again and again to whomever may need him!”

“Ashley is the type of young lady that I felt comfortable not just watching my dog, but protecting him. If something happened to Winston I wouldn’t take it lightly. The last day she watched Winston she must of played with him for awhile. Winston always wants to go play when I get home. I usually lay in bed for a minute while you walks all over me to get me to take him out. Instead he passed out on his back snuggled up to me snoring and moving like crazy. He was definitely run I g in his deep sleep”

“Hailey did amazing the pups were happy and we were happy. We only cut our trip short because I got sick but we will definitely be using her again. Thank you Hailey for taking care of Luna and Kane.”

“Thanks for taking care of Boots while we were on a long trip. It was very comforting to see a picture of him each day. Will definitely ask you to watch him again for our next trip.”
“Bella took care of Lucina on very short notice, and kept her happy, fed, and entertained as best as a drop in visit could do. She would be my first choice if I ever need a cat sitter again and I'd recommend her to anyone!”

“Marissa was a fantastic sitter for Isla. She can be a shy kitty for strangers, but Marissa sent great photos her everyday, which means Isla warmed up to her quickly. It was a relief for us to know that our kitty was well looked after while we were gone. We will definitely try to book Marissa again and would recommend her to anyone looking for a good cat sitter. Thanks Marissa!”

“Emma was absolutely amazing with our 2 very high energy boxers! From the start she was responsible, respectful and truly attentive to our dog’s needs. She handled their high energy routines perfectly. Making sure they’ve got plenty of love, care and exercise while she was here. It was clear that she treated them like her own. We came home to happy, calm dogs and couldn’t be more appreciative of her kindness and responsibility. We look forward to having her back soon.”

“It was a true blessing to come across Bryanna to help with drop in visits for our 2 adult rescue dogs and outside cats. Our dogs are seldom left alone over night and this was their first time having somebody come in to care for them. Bryanna came out to meet the dogs and learn of the routine and responsibilities a few days before. During the drop ins, Bryanna sent pictures and would respond to messages promptly. Although our dogs would bark at Bryanna when she came in, they were fed, let out and were given treats. They were in good hands. Bryanna was prompt with her care and time with them. Thank you Bryanna!”

“This was my first time using any at home pet sitting service. I have one cat. Courtney did an awesome job watching my Sophie! Her drop in times were right on, and she and Sophie got along great! I would definitely recommend Courtney. She's awesome!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
