Fenced Yard, Sunroom & Snuggles!
I've had cats or dogs pretty much my whole life. If your fur-baby loves to snuggle and play and go where I go, then I'm the right choice! I’ll treat them like my own! I live in Beaver Dam and have a fully fenced yard for potty breaks and playtime with lots of trees, rocks and landscaping for the dogs to explore. Our house has several low windows so small pups can easily watch the neighborhood. We also have a sunroom where all the animals can catch some rays and keep an eye on the birds and squirrels. My husband Matt and I have a cat, Rocko, who is very used to new dogs visiting. If he likes their “vibe” he becomes friends. If not, that’s fine, he just spends a lot of time in his ‘lounge’ in the basement. Either way he’s happy. We adopted our dog, Velvet, in Feb ‘26. She’s a Schipperke-Pomeranian mix and has the job of chasing all the squirrels, bunnies and birds in our yard and entertaining all of our doggie guests. She’s learning that doggie visitors mean new playmates and extra treats so she’s really excited when friends come over! She does intros excited and ready to play. I was impressed with how respectful she was with one of our very elderly dogs-she gave her space and was “chill”. Rocko, Velvet, Uncle Matt and me (Auntie Erin) are looking forward to adding some new friends here in Beaver Dam!

Ratings and reviews
Tuck loves going to “Auntie Erin’s.” I know when he is in her care he will get all the snuggles and treats - but will also get socialization with other animals. It is the perfect environment for him. He slept the entire drive home and the rest of the day. She sent pictures so I couldn’t miss Tuck too much while in vacation - but I also saw how happy and relaxed he is, which is hard for our pup sometimes. We love Erin and appreciate the love she gives our puppers 😊

Kilo had a great time overnight with Erin. She came home happy and energized. She got to socialize with other pets which was great for her. I would trust her with my pup again :)

Kept me updated on how my dog was and sent pictures. She did great!

Our puppy Daisy came back from daycare tired which we love. Thank you.

Thanks, Erin! Our little dog was very happy and well loved at Erin's house and we so appreciate it!!

My pups had a great time staying with Erin! Her home is the perfect relaxed environment and she gives them lots of love.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
We are a laid back family and love spending time at home with our fur babies, snuggling, playing games and spending time outside. We have a separate “lounge” in the basement for our cats to escape to where they have their litter box and food and one of their kitty trees. Pups stay in our main areas of the house with us. If we go visit family, pups come with or can be crated or left to lounge at home.
A typical day
Our neighborhood is very walkable and there are several parks nearby. If your dog loves to travel and run errands, he/she can tag along wherever I go! At home we play with toys, practice tricks, and have lots of snuggles.

- I'd like to understand their temperament and energy level. Are there any special activities he/she likes to do? Any special types of toys he/she prefers? Treats or foods he/she likes? What is her/his "I need to go potty" signal?
