“Bobbi is absolutely amazing! Our cat is usually very shy around new people, but she warmed up to Bobbi almost immediately, which says so much. Bobbi kept us updated throughout our trip with thoughtful messages, daily photos, and videos, giving us complete peace of mind while we were away. It was clear our cat was in loving, capable hands. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and will absolutely be booking Bobbi again the next time we travel. Highly recommend!”

“I was lucky enough to have booked Selena when the Hurricane came through. She checked on my animals but also checked the house thoroughly for anything that might have happened after Beryl. Selena is my go-to!!!”

About: Pets have been a cherished part of my life for as long as I can remember. From a young age, I've always considered them true family members. The love they give to you, and being such loyal companions who deserve the same care, respect, and devotion we give to our own children. Throughout the years, I've taken full responsibility for their well-being, from feeding them on schedule, ensuring they get plenty of exercise and outdoor time, providing comfort when needed, and always prioritizing their happiness and health. I would and have gone to great lengths to ensure their safety and joy, treating them with the unconditional love they so freely give in return. I recently left my full-time job to pursue my families dream of owning and operating our own business, which we have now actually started together. With this significant life transition, I am seeking a flexible side opportunity that can generate additional income while aligning with helping those in need, all while getting to work with animals, especially dogs! When I discovered this app, it felt like the ideal combination, connecting with pet owners who require assistance with dog walking, playtime, check-ins, or basic care. It perfectly merges meaningful work, while providing companionship and support to animals. This opportunity fits perfectly with my values and allows me to make a positive difference in the lives of both pets and their owners. I am excited about the potential and eager to get started! Treating them with the care and respect they deserve, all while giving them the attention they want! I love being with them as much as they love being with us!
“Ashley communicated often and checked in if she had to change the schedule. I really appreciated this. It was obvious that Peaches loved her and was well taken care of. I rarely travel for this length of time and I did not worry that Peaches wouldn't be taken care of beecause Ashley was responsible. She graciously got my mail and packages and cleaned up after my messy eater. Everything was in good shape when I returned. Thank you, Ashley, for a fantastic job.”

“We cannot recommend her enough! She is incredibly attentive to our fur babies and always provides excellent communication, which gives us so much peace of mind while we’re away. She truly has a gift with animals & the dogs absolutely adore her. It’s clear she understands their personalities and “pet language” so well. Knowing pets is such a blessing. We received updates and great photos. We are so grateful to have found her and will continue to book with her whenever possible!”

“Christina is amazing! We have a super anxious chihuahua mix and a blind senior dog with tummy issues. We typically board them when we travel. Neither of them have ever been left at home alone more than a day. Christina watched them for 3 days and kept us informed of their activities the entire time. She was patient and kind and won our two pups over in no time. They were calm and relaxed when we got home. They clearly were comfortable with Christina. She took such great and attentive care with them. She is such a blessing. I enthusiastically recommend Christina!”

“Starla took amazing care of my cats while I was away. She kept me updated, paid close attention to their behavior and well-being, and was very caring and attentive. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing they were in good hands. I truly appreciated all the updates and care she provided. I would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!”

About: My love for animals has given me experience in pet sitting with cats and dogs. I had two childhood dogs that taught me everything I know about pet care. Before my neighbor moved away, I would drop by her house after school to check on her cat while she was at work. As I got older, my mom would recommend me to her clients from her cleaning service when asked if she knew any pet-sitters who could watch their dogs or cats for a couple of hours, weekends, or on holidays. And while in college, I pet-sat and walked my roommates' dogs whenever they needed it. My experience as a pet sitter ensures that your beloved family member will be safe and content while in my care. I am available for full-time house sitting any day of the week or drop-in visits/walks Monday through Friday from 11 am to 6:30 pm. But I am willing to accommodate earlier or later times. I will follow your pet's schedule to the second to ensure they are happy and healthy while in my care. If anything happens or I have questions, I will contact you immediately.

“Nicole was very friendly and helpful, she went above and beyond to help taking care of my pet when we were away, I will definitely recommend her if you need help with you furry friends.”

About: I've had dogs since I was 8 years old. I've always had a big heart, so I took the role of main caregiver for my pups and my kitty; I walked, fed, and cleaned them which continued into my adulthood as I've been a committed carer for friends' dogs. For a short time (4 months), I moved to Mexico and was a live-in dog carer for two puppies: a Yorkie and Bichon Frise! I also became dual carer for my partner's three dogs of varying ages and we rescued and raised a beautify cat together. I also know what it means to lose your beloved pal as I've had experience with caring for aging doggies and sitting with them as they passed over the doggy rainbow. I currently work full-time with special needs kids from 8-5 daily. I'm available for drop-ins after work, overnight stays and I have full weekend availability! I am available for walks and stays at your home. My care for your home will reflect the deep care I have for your pet. I would love know what you freel comfortable with in your home and integrate your needs as I make sure your pet(s) are well cared for!
“Patme took great care of my two cats. She provided daily updates, including pictures, and engaged with both of them. I appreciate her attention to detail with the instructions I provided as well. I would book with Patme again and recommend her to others.”

About: I love animals whether it be strays or domesticated fluffies. I currently have a Chihuahua of 14yrs old, a 2yr old Husky and a 8 year old Boston Terrier/Pug who I love with all my heart. Many of my friends also entrust me to feed and walk their pets when they are out of town. I am currently working part-time and will have plenty of time to take good care of your fur babies. I usually get off of work at 4 or 5pm. I also don't go in till 10 am so am very able to take your babies potty in the morning so the don't have to hold it ALL day Will be happy to take care of of your fur baby according to your instructions since many people have different rules for their homes. :)
“Jordan was absolutely amazing! She was very professional and pleasant. Our dog connected with her immediately and when we returned home all was well with our home and with out dog!! 5 Star service!!!!”

About: I’ve always had a pet at home, so caring for animals has been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, and even a frog, and I currently share my space with a friendly 3-year-old Yorkie and a curious little lizard. Every animal I’ve cared for has taught me something new about patience, communication, and love. As a college senior, I balance my studies with daily walks, feeding schedules, and playtime for my Yorkie. Managing school and pet care has helped me become extremely reliable, organized, and attentive to every detail, qualities I bring to every pet I watch. What sets me apart is my genuine passion for animals and my ability to make each pet feel comfortable and safe. Whether it’s a shy dog, an energetic puppy, or a pet with special routines, I take the time to understand their needs and make them feel at home while you’re away. Now that my soccer season is over, my schedule is much more flexible, even though I still work part-time at Petco. I have classes during the day, but I’m free after 3 p.m. on weekdays and completely open on weekends. I’m also off on Fridays, which gives me extra time for longer walks, drop-ins, or weekend stays. Even with a busy schedule, I make pet care a top priority. Balancing school, work, and caring for my own Yorkie has taught me how to stay organized and dependable. You can always count on me to be punctual, communicative, and attentive to your pet’s needs. Safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I live in an apartment, but I make sure my 3-year-old Yorkie, Zeus, stays active and happy, he gets walked 2-3 times a day and we go to the dog park as often as possible. That means visiting pets can expect plenty of outdoor time, walks, and safe play under my supervision. When caring for pets in my home, I keep the space clean, calm, and pet-friendly. Zeus is social and gentle with other dogs, which helps create a relaxed, welcoming environment. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat it with the same respect as my own. I carefully follow each pet’s routine, make sure doors and gates are secure, and send regular updates with photos so you can feel at ease knowing your pet is safe, loved, and cared for.
“I am late to writing my review. Jen was wonderful! found her last minute and she's awesome and I would totally recommend her again and I will use her again in the future myself, very cool person. Ou babies did as good as they could while we were away and I loved her communication with me through the days. Thank you Jen!!”

“Brittany is the BEST when it comes to taking care of your fur babies! She loves them as her own, and goes above and beyond with communication sharing text updates with photos and videos for you to see the joy your animals are experiencing in her care. She will treat your animals as family, book her today for exceptional snuggles and love when you are away!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Beasley. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
