About: Hey y’all!! My husband and I are new empty-nesters, and have always had dogs in our lives. I speak dog, and having the experience of being a pet mom for so many years, I would love to take care of yours when you need it! I’m able to give them their medications if they’re following a treatment (I just don’t inject). So, if you need to travel, or just need some time off, bring your doggie to me! My two dogs are friendly and playful guys…yours will have a blast! I’m a writer, working on my books from home. I recently moved from Florida and got a new house with a fenced backyard that our own dogs enjoy and would love to share it! Even when I travel frequently (and use Rover pet services in TX as I used it while in FL), I am home everyday. I just save Sundays, and go to church. I have a fenced backyard, and 2 friendly dogs. When other dogs are in my home, I make them feel loved. My home is a quiet place with nice music that leds me to write. When having visitors, every exercise is done in the backyard! My dogs, sleep in their beds in the living room. I don’t have carpets and my place is a clean house. We are bilingual (including our dogs 😁).
About: Hi my name is Alan and my wife’s name is Valerie! I have become extremely enthusiastic about this app as it has given me the opportunity to meet and get to know new families, individuals and a few different dogs. I’m looking forward to meeting you and your pup and can’t wait to create a lasting relationship with everyone involved. My childhood growing up with my dogs i feel has given me a good amount of knowledge when it comes to walking, looking after, raising and potty training. My availability is a little spotty seeing as how I have a full time job but I love any and all dogs and I’m really hoping I can create new relationships with you and yours. I’m great with dogs and dogs are great with me. My wife is home everyday. And I will be home after 6pm. We are both home on weekends. Once she goes back to work after her maternity leave starting February 21, she will be home by 4pm. Valerie and I took a break from Rover for a while due to space issues but we just moved into our new house this past August 2022 and we are excited to provide a spacious home as well as a spacious fenced in backyard. We are also in a brand new community so it’s extra quiet here in our area.
“Great 1st daycare visit for my 14th year old pup. My dog has mainly had one sitter for the past couple of years so I was super nervous leaving her with someone new due to her age and issues that come along with being an old girl. Britteny made me feel at ease by sending pics and quickly replying to my text. Great attentive sitter who put my worries at ease. I will definitely be a returning customer.”

About: I’ve had dogs, cats, chickens and other birds my whole life, more than 40 years. I’m a retired teacher and empty nester and I’m home most of the time so your fur babies will get lots of love and attention! I’m retired so I’m home and available almost all of the time. I’d rather be at home with furry friends. They’ll get lots of love and attention with me. I have a large fenced yard and a one story house with wood floors. I’m an empty nester so it’s just me and my service dog at home. There’s no kids around just me and my sweet dog.
About: Growing up in the country, I cared for pets and farm animals. My experience and love for all creatures began there! Interacting with them has always been the highlight of my day. From cats, dogs, small animals, aquatic life and reptiles, to horses, dairy goats, birds, pigs and chickens, I have you covered! I've owned most, and cared for the rest. No matter what, I keep critters close! As a child was rarely seen without an animal or flock in tow. I raised pigs, chickens, dove, rabbits. As well as trained dogs and horses. Later on In Edna, I was a ranch hand on a small dairy farm. Now living in the city, I care mostly for cats and dogs, but I still love them all! I wouldn't imagine my life any other way! I have a very open and movable schedule. I can pretty much work with anything. The safety and care of your pup is always at the top of my list. I have a fenced yard with a large shaded area. Indoor and crate training is also great. I will make sure they are comfortable and safe.
“Milton was fantastic working with our Dutch Shepard Max. He was very sweet in Max care and sent us updates on how Max was. Milton is very easy to communicate with and is very accommodating to my husband and I busy work schedule! At the end of the daycare, Max really enjoyed being with Milton!”

About: Bruiser. A friendly paraplegic dachshund whose physical needs required his humans to find help at their home when they needed time away. Helping care for him blossomed my new love for pets of all sizes and medical conditions, outside of my work life in a veterinary clinic. I would love the chance to take above and beyond care of your fur-babies, from those that are healthy and active to the ones that need comfort and warmth during a difficult journey through life. I have over 17 years of work experience in the veterinary field in multiple positions. Communication and patient care are a few of my number one priorities, along with ensuring your routine is followed and expectations are met. Insulin administration, daily medications, extra walks, subcutaneous fluid administration; these are a few of the abundant needs that I am able to provide with ease and skill. In my home, I tolerate (with love of course) two of my own fur-babies. Yuca, a blue pitbull terrier, who is an active little girl, and Valentino, or just Tino, a black mixed rescue from BARC. Our home has a large yard and close parks for those that may need outdoor play time. I understand the stress of having to put your dogs and cats in a boarding facility, as I myself love going to National Parks with my family. I would be so honored if you would “paws time” and entrust me with your kids, knowing they are loved the same as when they are with you.
About: I have an exceptional talent in making each and every canine and feline feel happy and loved. They thrive under my care, and love individual attention and understanding. Pet care is second nature to me, and fits extremely well with my current lifestyle of working part time and living in a retirement community. Pets cared for in my home are well loved and get lots of attention. I walk dogs regularly, and am exceptional at playing with and caring for them. I am in the backyard with them whenever they go outside.
About: My name is Valerie! I have become extremely enthusiastic about this app as it has given me the opportunity to meet and get to know new families, individuals, and most importantly dogs. I’m looking forward to meeting you and your pup and can’t wait to create a lasting relationship with everyone involved! I feel like my childhood growing up with my dogs has given me a good amount of knowledge when it comes to walking, looking after, raising and potty training. I am a teacher and have always been very fond and connected to children so I feel like dogs aren’t very different from that for me! I love any and all dogs and I’m really hoping I can create new relationships with you and yours. I am currently off for the summer so I have plenty of time to cater to and give your pet the attention it needs all day! I have a backyard with a fence so your pets can get the exercise they need or even some sunbathing in during the day. I have two fur babies of my own to keep your pets company as well.
“"I had the pleasure of entrusting my beloved fur baby to a wonderful family I met on Rover, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. To mention this was my first experience. From the moment we arrived at their home, it was clear that my dog was in for a fantastic stay. I got pictures and videos which made me smile and more at ease! If I’m ever in the area I will book again. Thank you all so much. ????”

“Oliver loves coming to see Angela! She keeps me updated with pictures and videos of how Oliver is doing and he always looks so happy! Angela has been so accommodating as well with last minute delays or booking mistakes on my part!”

About: I have been a pet lover since I was a child. I have two dogs that I care for and I would be a good sitter for your pet. I am currently retired and at home during the week. I have plenty of time and love to care for your pet. Available most holidays. I have a fenced backyard and 2 dogs of my own (Mark and Matthew) that your pet can play with. Pets are allowed on furniture, but not on bed.
About: I would absolutely love to have the privilege of caring for your pet. All pets tend to love me. I grew up with dogs and I adore them. My husband and I recently moved here from Texas and are looking into getting pets of our own when we find the perfect fit for our little family. I promise to make sure your pet has plenty of love and attention. I also have experience being around cats and would like to possibly rescue a cat as well. I look forward to spending time outside playing with and walking your beloved pets and am eager to snuggle with them on the sofa as well. I would also like to mention that we do have a 12 month old daughter
“Judy helped me out on some last minute plans and took care of my old grumpy dog. I really appreciated her quick response to my request. He enjoyed sleeping in her house with the AC and ice cold water. He even enjoyed being with her other dogs. He did so good with her, I felt comfortable leaving him in her lovely home. Thank you Judy! This was a great first experience with the Rover app.”
About: Hi there, my name is Anne. As a stay-at-home furry mom who works part-time and from home, I have ample time to play with and shower your fur child with love, just like I do with mine. My partner also works from home, and my retired mom lives with us, so your baby will never be alone. There will always be someone in the same room with your baby, most likely sitting next to them. =) My animal experience: I’ve had dogs since elementary school and have never been without a canine companion since. Throughout high school and college, I expanded my pet care experience by babysitting various animals for church members, including dogs, rabbits, mini pigs, and birds. I also volunteered at the local animal’s shelter for 18 months when I was in my late twenties. I have had experience with puppies, senior dogs, and handicapped dogs in the past as well, so I am confident in my ability to care for them. Also, my partner is experienced in dog training and therapy work, and we currently share our home with two rescued Chihuahuas. We are both well versed in medication administration and wound care. Our top priority is to provide a safe and positive experience for your furry baby while you are away. We ensure a secure, clean, and organized environment where your pet will feel relaxed, happy, and protected. * For new Rover customers - please use promo code ANNEQ60631 for a sweet $20 discount! =) Meet and Greet/Pick-up and Drop-off: To ensure everyone’s safety, especially the fur babies, only one pet parent will be allowed inside the house at a time. All fur children must be leashed upon arrival and throughout the Meet and Greet and Drop-off. *Please note that Meet and Greet for non-referrals will be outdoor first for everyone's safety. Please bring all the required documentation to the Meet and Greet* Drop-off time: Anytime after 9 am. Exceptions may be made in certain situations. Please inform me in advance. I have a spacious fenced yard where your fur baby can romp and play alongside my two friendly Chihuahuas if they like. There's also plenty of room inside the house for your baby to roam freely, just like mine. Your baby is welcome on the couch and in my bedroom. My retired mom will pitch in and shower your baby with love, attention, and care as well. She sleeps upstairs and can sleep with your baby if they prefer to be away from other dogs. *There are security cameras outside and inside the house, recording 24 hours a day to ensure everyone’s safety.*
“Bo is just the best!! He spoils my mini poodle Freddie like he’s his own, I can’t rave enough about how thrilled I am with Bo’s services!! Will continue to use him for day care and when I’m out of town!!”

“Candace was amazing and kept me updated with photos and text messages. She always responded in a very timely manner. My dog loved her spacious property! Highly recommend, 10/10 first experience.”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 876 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Beasley. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Beasley commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 876 sitters in Beasley, 86% respond to messages in under an hour.
You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
