About: Lifelong animal lover offering reliable dog walking and drop-in visits for dogs and cats. I’ve cared for pets my entire life and previously boarded dogs through Rover, so I understand how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your pets. In 2017 I was an active Rover sitter and boarded dogs in my home for about a year, working with several families and building repeat clients. During that time I had multiple dogs and cats of my own, as well as young children, so I’m very comfortable managing busy households and different pet personalities. Today I have one dog and one cat of my own and am excited to return to Rover focusing on dog walking and drop-in visits for both dogs and cats. I’m happy to help with: • Dog walking (short or long walks) • Drop-in visits for dogs or cats • Feeding, fresh water, and routine care • Litter box cleaning for cats • Playtime, attention, and companionship • Basic medications when pets are comfortable receiving them I’ve also worked in boarding facilities, grooming salons, and doggy daycares, which gave me experience handling many different types of dogs and temperaments. I’m known for being calm, patient, and routine-focused, and I treat every pet with the same care and attention I give my own. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I have a wide-open schedule and can be flexible to meet your pet’s needs, whether it’s daily walks or regular drop-in visits. I primarily drive to visits, so I can reach most locations efficiently. To ensure the best care for your pets, I ask for at least a day’s notice when scheduling or canceling visits. Since this is my main source of income, I can be consistent and dependable, giving your pets the attention and routine they deserve. Your pet’s safety is my top priority. Dogs are always leashed during walks, and I adjust routes or pause if other dogs are nearby to ensure a calm, controlled experience. I’m comfortable caring for multiple pets at once, as long as they get along well. I handle pets with anxiety, aggression, or medical needs carefully, following all instructions from their parents. During drop-in visits, I take my lead from pet parents and follow any guidance provided, ensuring I leave the home exactly as I found it — doors locked, secure, and everything in order. My goal is to provide a safe, consistent, and worry-free experience for both pets and their families.

Providing professional service above any idea of which that I had going into the situation of needing help feeding my four-legged relative, while I traveled. With the sonic intuition of a bat soaring through the night, she knew what I needed before I could even think of it. With the professional and timely voice of mourning dove, she was prompt and unbelievably reliable. With the cool and calm discipline of a crow crossing a wire over a field of peace lilies, bluegrasses, and dandelions, she left my home and space in a cleaner and more organised way than I had left it. And with the resilience and dedication of V-formed geese, my four-legged family was exercised and engaged in such a good way. Evidenced in her calm and content energy in my return home. Reminding me of the words from my favourite poet, Mary Oliver, in the last verse of her poem titled, October: “One morning the fox came down the hill, glittering and confident, and didn’t see me- and I thought: so this is the world. I’m not in it. It is beautiful.””

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for most of my adult life. As a kid I was never able to have pets, so as an adult I’ve always had multiple dogs. I love dogs and enjoy their personalities and fun loving nature. Weekends and holidays are spent at home with the family, and the four-legged family members get plenty of playtime! During the week, I work full-time. Our dogs are kennel-trained and enjoy their downtime during the day. Once home, they’re out and a part of all our evening activities. We have a fenced-in yard where they can run and play non-stop. Our fenced-in yard is an excellent space for our four energetic dogs to run and play. They love to play non-stop, and our kids, who are also dog lovers, enjoy playing along with them.

About: I've been caring for my own household pets since I was about 7 years old -- feeding, letting pets in and out, and providing quality time for as long as I can remember. We've always owned 2 dogs and 2 cats my whole life. Experienced in giving medicine, diaper care and helping with individual pet needs. Always the go-to petsitter for family and friends when needed. Currently off of college for the summer so I'm wide open for all of your pet needs! Available daily at any time until mid August, and then free on the weekends when the semester starts. My dogs at home are crate-trained, but I work with open house dogs as well as crates, letting them outside every few hours or so (as needed). Happily gives couch cuddles for pets as much as possible, and I follow food instructions per pet to a T, including medicine and special care instructions as needed.

About: I started my care for dogs when I was 14. I often sit for friends and family when they need me. I am an animal lover who just loves spending time with new animals. I love getting to know all of their sweet personalities. I am currently a student with no more than 2 classes a day so lots a free time to spend with your pets. I would be free to let out your pets multiple times a day and even spend the night if you would like. I am very accommodating when it comes to all types of animals. We can discuss what your animals need in your house and find some type of system.

About: I have always grown up in a household with pets and see them as family members. Currently enjoying the companionship of my 2 fur babies. Throughout my time of loving animals, i have had pets with allergies, a 2 different orthopedic procedures on knees and 2 eye procedures and feel comfortable with giving medications or eye drops. When it comes to my animals, I value the importance of them having the ability to be cared for when I am away and look forward to providing that to other familys. I am available most friday afternoons and weekends for drop ins and walks in the lincoln area. Could consider evenings on additional days upon request. Currently my animals are free roam, but I do have experiance with crate training. My animals enjoy daily walks, mind stimulating activities and practicing of their learned tricks, and lots of love.

I understand how important it is to keep pet parents updated, so I’ll make sure you receive regular photos and communication for peace of mind. My schedule is very flexible and changes slightly depending on the month. In May, I have open availability. In June, I’m in class Tuesdays from 8 AM–3 PM and Wednesdays/Thursdays from 8 AM–11 AM. In July, I only have class on Mondays from 8 AM–11 AM. Outside of class, I have plenty of time to dedicate to pet care, including walks, playtime, feeding, check-ins, and overnight care depending on the booking. I’m available mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends, and I always make sure pets stay on their normal routines and feel comfortable while their owners are away. I always want pets to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care. Whether I’m caring for pets on a walk or a in a client’s home, I make it a priority to follow their normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and any special instructions. Staying on top of daily needs, health cues, and routines comes second nature to me, and I bring that same structure, attentiveness, and care to every pet I look after. When caring for pets in their own home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and comforting as possible. I’m very attentive to both their needs and their personalities—whether that means playing their favorite game for hours, going on walks, enjoying quiet cuddle time, or simply keeping them company. About: I was in 4-h for around 7-10 years and showed horses, cattle, rabbits, cats and dogs. I lived on a farm so I am good with all sized pets. I have a deep passion for animals and personally have 2 dogs a chocolate lab and siberian husky, and 2 cats a orange tabby and grey maine coon. I am a full-time college student so my schedule is pretty open all week and the weekends besides church Sunday mornings and I work Saturday nights 5-11. About: I have owned and cared for family dogs since I was 7. I got my first personal dog approximately five years ago and added my second dog just under 2 years ago. I have trained both of my dogs in obedience and sports such as fast CAT, flyball, frisbee, dock diving, barn hunt, and rally. I briefly worked at a boarding facility and gained so much extra knowledge of dog body language and behavior in my time there. I am self employed so I have lots of extra time to spend with pets! My schedule is very flexible to be able to meet any special needs. A pet parent being gone is stressful enough for our babies, so being able to care for them in the home they’re familiar with is so important. My main goal is to keep your pets daily routine as close to normal as can be, with a little extra added love to keep them from missing their owners too much!
