âThank you for your kindness of your visit with Bear. Sorry he was jumping alot when excited to see you. I hope he was able to be redirected. Thanks for our communication and your willingness to schedule more visits. I give my own tip left on table. Good job! It helps my anxiety to know I can leave to visit my friends that I cannot bring my Bear.â
âSamantha is the best!! We are always so sad to leave our pup home, but we know heâs in the best hands. She always updates us on her visits and sends the cutest pictures!!â

âAmanda was the absolute best! It was great to be away and not have to worry about how Dallas was doing. She left the best check in notes after her visits. I would choose her time and time again! Thanks again Amanda!â
âCera did an amazing job watching our 2 cats over the holidays! She was always sending updates with lots of pictures, and put our minds at ease that we knew our pets were with someone that truly cares for animals. We will definitely book with her again!â

âEmily did a great job looking after our 2 dogs and 2 cats while we were out of town for 5 days. When one of our dogs was wary of her during their initial meet-and-greet, she offered to meet them on another day prior to our departure to make sure all was well, and of course it was. She provided updates after every visit while we were away. We look forward to working with her again in the future!â

âShe was amazing. She took amazing care of my cats and they loved her visits and play time. I truly appreciate the kindness and love she showed my pets and home.â

âI felt very comfortable having Terri do drop in visits to care for my cat. She checked in and gave updates with pictures each drop-in. My cat needed special care with antibiotics, which Terri could do no problem. My shy cat even let Terri pet her eventually, so I know my cats felt comfortable too. Thanks Terri!â

âAmber watched our two kitties while we were on vacation. We loved getting daily updates and photos of our fur babies. Amber is excellent to work with. Highly recommend.â

âDiana was very accommodating & was able to help me out at the last minute. She did very well with my two dogs & they seemed to be very comfortable with her. She followed my detailed instructions & didn't appear to have any problems with my sometimes problematic dog. I would definitely recommend Diana to those who need a caring, responsible pet sitter.â

About: I am the ultimate pet lover! I grew up with fish, a hamster, a rabbit, and dogs. In 2008, I adopted 3 puppies of my parentsâ dog. They were my kids and my pride and joy! My last pup passed away in January 2024, 2 months shy of his 16th birthday. Since then, Iâve been helping to take care of family pets and am excited to offer walking, feeding, and sitting services for others in the community. I am focusing on finishing my last year as a doctoral student. Iâm also an expert at time management! I am available almost everyday of the week. I am detail-oriented, caring, trustworthy, customer service-oriented, and I love animals! I donât have any direct experience caring for cats, but I have been around them enough to be comfortable with them. I promise to take care of othersâ pets like theyâre my own.
âJulie was absolutely amazing with my kitties, and it was such a relief to know that they were in great hands while I was away! I loved getting the photos and thoughtful updates she provided, and my cats loved her! I would give her 10 stars out of 5 if I could!â

About: I've had guinea pigs all my life, and I have taken care of my friends and families dogs and cats. Taking care of animals is a huge passion of mine, and I take it very seriously I have a lot of free time on my hands and would be available anytime of the week. If something does come up on my schedule I will let you know. I would prefer to take care of your animals in your own home and would be able to stay over or check in on them as much as you want.
âWhat a lovely experience. From our initial meeting that gave us confidence, to the great communication throughout, we had peace of mind that our guy was being well cared for. The photographs and updates were so appreciated. We wouldnât hesitate to recommend Clare.â

âDaniel was awesome, simply put. Great communication and multiple updates kept us in the loop. He was very engaging with our dogs and went above and beyond our expectations.â

âKaitlin did a wonderful job taking care of our cat Milo for the week while we were on vacation. The daily updates and photos put my mind at ease and she was on time with her check ins every day. Milo seemed to have thrived under her care and I am so grateful that she was available and took such great care of him. She even went the extra mile and brought our packages in that were delivered while we were away! Thanks for everything Kaitlin! ?â

About: Iâve been a lifelong dog lover and have hands-on experience caring for dogs of different ages, sizes, and personalities. As a dog owner myself, I understand the importance of providing a safe, loving, and structured environment where pets feel comfortable and cared for. Iâm experienced with daily walks, feeding schedules, administering basic medications if needed, crate training, reinforcing routines, and providing plenty of playtime and affection. I know that every dog has unique needs, and I take the time to learn each petâs routine so they feel happy and secure while youâre away. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing fetch, or simply relaxing with company, Iâll treat them like one of my own. My goal is to give you peace of mind by providing dependable care, regular updates, and lots of love for your furry family member. I am available for drop in visits or walks on Saturday and Sundays. Unfortunately my work schedule Mon-Fri doesnât provide me availability to provide service during the week days. I understand that every pet has their own routine, personality, and needs, so I will follow their normal feeding schedule, exercise routine, and any special instructions you provide. Pets in my care will receive plenty of attention, playtime, affection, and supervision. I also believe communication is important, so Iâll provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and cared for.

âSusan is a fantastic cat sitter. Our cat felt comfortable and cared for. She spent time with him ensuring he ate, exercised and received scratches and pets. Susan submits daily updates and photos providing the pet owner with reassurance that their pet is doing well. We're so appreciate of Susan.â

âStella was super sweet, accommodating and communicated well. She took care of Ayce like he was her own and sent us beautiful pictures and notes on their visits. Highly recommend!â

âMaria went above and beyond this time to care for my babies. They love her and got lots of playtime as usual, but this time my house was dealing with an ant infestation. She notified me so that I could call pest control and helped spray and wipe away the ants she could see in the meantime before they were able to drop by. I was very anxious about the situation and she continued to provide updates and let me know that their food and main play areas were safeâ

âMeghan was a life saver! Very last minute my husband was able to go on vacation with us. I called her two days before we needed to leave and she jumped at the chance to help us. She even went above and beyond and noticed that our flowers outside were looking a little rough in the June heat. She messaged me that she would take care of the plants as well. Our cat and our dog loved her, and she took such good care of them while we were away. We will not hesitate to reach out to her again should we need to in the future.â

Cat sitters on Rover care for your catsâ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Baumstown. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
