About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was a kid. Everything from turtles, fish, hamsters, to cats and dogs. I’m currently a stay at home mom with a 5.5 and 3 year old. All of us love animals, especially dogs. We would be honored to care for your fur babies while you are away! I’m a stay at home mom and my husband works from home. Between the two of us, someone is usually here. Sometimes I have errands to run but I’m not ever gone more than 2-3 hours max. I do not have a fenced in yard but am happy to walk your dog as often as needed. We have a very dog friendly neighborhood and it’s quiet. We are open to using a crate or don’t have to- whatever is the owners preference.
“Diana was very accommodating & was able to help me out at the last minute. She did very well with my two dogs & they seemed to be very comfortable with her. She followed my detailed instructions & didn't appear to have any problems with my sometimes problematic dog. I would definitely recommend Diana to those who need a caring, responsible pet sitter.”

“Terri did a great job taking care of my 2 cats while I was away. She was a good communicator and provided good pictures each time she visited. I would definitely recommend her!”

“Amelia has always done a great job taking care of my cat Dexter while I’m away. Every time I come home he is always happy. I always know that Amelia will take good care of Dexter while I’m away and I look forward to using Amelia in the future.”

“Only our second time using Rover, and Dennis handled everything with ease. We’re still figuring out our dog’s tendencies with new folks when we aren’t around, but we’re glad we had Dennis to get acquainted with them. Even brought our amazon package around back out of sight for us.”

“What a lovely experience. From our initial meeting that gave us confidence, to the great communication throughout, we had peace of mind that our guy was being well cared for. The photographs and updates were so appreciated. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Clare.”

“Audrey took great care for our 3 cats with detailed updates, pictures and kindness. She was courteous and prompt with her responses. This was my first experience with hiring someone I do not know and Audrey gave me confidence that all would be well. I would for sure invite her to care for my pets again and recommend her!”

About: The experience I have with animals is from having German shepherd dogs and various rodents in the house since I was little( As well as working for the company Nature Calls Pet and Plant services). I also worked as an animal care technician at petco, I dealt with all sorts of animals including bearded dragons, leopard geckos, crested geckos, spiders and more. I currently work at petco as a cashier but my love for animals has not changed. My schedule is pretty flexible at the moment, weekdays are fine for me, as well as the weekends. Finding time to watch your pets will be fairly quick and easy, so there won’t be any miscommunications. My family has owned German shepherds for years and I have had mostly rodent pets like Guinea pigs, hamsters etc. For me making sure things are clean, tidy and mess free are a must, along with keeping things sanitary while you’re away. I understand the importance of keeping your pets fed, hydrated, healthy and happy. Once all the tasks have been completed, it is important for me to engage with the pet. I like to be able to engage with pets by cuddling, playing and sometimes just talking to them.
About: I have been taking care of my friends dogs for years now. I never had my own but I am very passionate about playing, feeding, walking, and bathing doggies! I love playing with my own cats and would be happy to play with yours when needed! During the weekdays, I work til 3pm and will be available after 4pm to care for your animal. Weekends are more open and flexible to tend to your pet. During the summer my schedule is more open because I have off of work since I’m a teacher. I have a nice size backyard for your dog to play in! I also have two cats that can keep them company. I am open to support your pet and their needs however I can.

Amityville cat parents share their Rover experiences
Michelle was absolutely fantastic taking care of my pets, Stormy (cat) and Brownie (dog). From the start, she was professional, communicative, and clearly experienced with animals. She kept me updated regularly with messages and photos, which gave me a lot of peace of mind while I was away. It was clear that both Stormy and Brownie were comfortable, well cared for, and getting plenty of attention. Michelle went above and beyond to make sure their routines stayed consistent, and she handled everything with care and reliability. I came home to two very happy pets, which says everything. I would highly recommend Michelle to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive pet sitter, and I will definitely be booking with her again.
