Beginning August 1st, my scheduled will be wide open. I have been working as a Licensed Massage Therapist for the past 11 years...and for 6 of those years I have owned my own business. I have recently decided to retire and close my business. I feel that pet sitting is the perfect mix of flexibility while also scratching the itch to spend all my time with fluff balls!

The more I know about your pet, the better I can care for them! 🐾 Before your pet’s stay, I’d love to know about their personality, routines, favorite activities and treats, feeding schedule, medications, quirks, and anything that makes them feel comfortable and safe. It’s also important to know about any fears, triggers, behavioral concerns, or special needs so I can make sure their time with me is as stress-free and enjoyable as possible. Every pet is different, and I want to care for them as an individual—not just follow a one-size-fits-all routine. The more you can tell me, the better I can spoil your furry (or feathered, or finned!) family member! 🐶🐱🐰🐦🐠
A typical day
I love making pet sitting feel like a fun little adventure! 🐾 Depending on each pet’s personality, we might enjoy walks and sniffari adventures, play with their favorite toys, have some one-on-one cuddle time, practice a few tricks, or simply explore the yard together. For cats, I’m always happy to break out the wand toys, chase toys, puzzle toys, or whatever gets those little paws moving! And for pets who prefer a slower pace, there’s nothing wrong with a cozy window-viewing session or some quality relaxation time. I’ll always follow your pet’s comfort level and favorite activities—because the best fun is the kind they actually enjoy! ❤️

Dogs have always held a special place in my heart. I grew up with three wonderful dogs throughout my childhood, each teaching me something different about love, patience, and companionship. One of them was even a future seeing-eye dog. Although we only had him for about a year before he went on to begin his important work, it was incredibly rewarding to be part of his journey and to help prepare him for the life-changing role he would have. When my husband and I bought our first home, one of the very first things we did was adopt the sweetest girl named Kora. She filled our home with joy, laughter, muddy paw prints, and unconditional love for ten unforgettable years. Saying goodbye to her was one of the hardest things we've ever done, but I wouldn't trade a single moment we had together. Because of these experiences, I know that dogs aren't "just pets"—they're family. Whether your dog loves long walks, endless games of fetch, belly rubs, or simply having someone nearby to keep them company, I'll care for them with the same patience, kindness, and attention I'd want someone to give my own. My goal is to make sure they feel safe, loved, and happy until you're back home.

Lara is nothing but caring and professional when looking after my cats. She always gives updates on how they are doing and sends pictures if asked. She keeps the litter boxes cleaned and always makes sure they have enough food, water, and snuggles! Could not recommend her enough!
Lara is the best!! As a pet owner herself, she always treats our pets like they are her own. She is affectionate and caring, and she takes time to connect with our current dog, and previously with our cats. They are always so excited to see her, immediately coming over to say hello, and I know that they love her too!!
Lara and I have known each other for over 10 years. She is one of my favorite people on this planet! Her kind heart and empathetic nature are just a couple of her best qualities. She has taken fantastic care of my two stubborn, bratty dachshunds. I would highly recommend letting Lara take care of your pets. She will love them and care for them like they're her own.
