Joanna Z.

“Joanna and Denver were great!!! My pup has a tendency towards separation anxiety and it was my first time boarding him so I was a bit nervous, but he loved his time at Joanna's! She was super communicative, great about following his routine/schedule, and he felt comfortable with her right away. They have a great set up there and Denver was a great buddy to Mick :) He got a lot of exercise, many cuddles, and seemed to have an all around great little vacation. Will definitely be using Joanna again!!!”

Kathleen B.

“Kathleen is terrific! She is knowledgable about dogs and provides tons of love and care. She made sure my dog had everything he needed during his stay with her and he was super comfortable from the moment he walked into her home.”

Monica E.

“Even if it takes me an hour to get to Monica’s home, I will always drop my dog off with her. Monica and her family care for my dog so well, I can’t recommend her enough!”

Candyce M.

“My pup had a wonderful time with his sitter's furry helpmate, Blue and his sitter. He was like a big bro. Lol Candyce was perfect and shared info about my pup's day, activities and shared pictures throughout his stay. I will be using her services from now on. Great care given. Thanks!”

Cathleen S.

“Cathleen was phenomenal!! She took care of our dog like she was her own! We got daily pictures and updates of our dog snuggling with her family! There was a fenced in yard for Jingle to roam and a family dog for her to pal around with! It is so great that our dog can stay in the house with a family and does not have to be in crate! Highly recommend Cathleen and we will be sending our dog back to her when we go away on our next hockey trip!”

Evelyn B.

“Trixie doesn’t like to go to anyone’s home but her own. When I say let’s go to Evelyn and Scott’s she is excited. These people love her like she’s their own. Thank you for eliminating any worries I would normally have when out of town for extended periods. Thank you for caring about Trixie.”

Erin C.

“Rawlings enjoyed her time staying with Erin! Erin took great care for Rawlings and sent updates with pictures. Would rebook in the future if needed. Thank you!”

“Jessica was great! This was the first time using a sitter for Nugget. She updated me constantly and was very warm and welcoming when meeting for the first time. Will definitely recommend Jessica to any of my peers and dog parents and will definitely be using Jessica again!”

Melody S.
“Melody was great with my dogs Jack and Nala! She was so sweet and warm, my dogs felt right at home with her. She looked after my pets as if they were her own which made me feel so comfortable knowing that my babies were in good hands. I 100% recommend Melody to anyone looking for a dog sitter or walker. She's very communicative and responsible.”

Amanda T.

“Amanda and her dog, Misu, were exactly what we were looking for to help us out with our new pup, Max. As a new user to this service, Amanda made us feel so comfortable throughout the entire process. She was very responsive and proactive with messaging, including pictures and videos to show us how Max was doing. It was so great to see Max having so much fun with Amanda and Misu. We highly recommend, and will definitely look up Amanda and Misu for any future needs! -Max & family”

Lauren W.

“A+ Service. I would highly recommend Lauren. She is a genuine dog-lover, took excellent care of our teacup Yorkipoo Gizmo who immediately liked her and had fun with her two dogs Gus and Toby too. Lauren was great with communicating, had an initial meet and greet, picked up and dropped off, sent daily photos and also video of Gizmo, allowing us to enjoy our vacation worry-free.”

Drew R.

“Drew was fantastic! Our dog Patton doesn’t do well in traditional boarding/kennels so we turned to Rover and so glad we did! This was the first time using this service so we didn’t know what to expect but Drew was great with communication, keeping us in the loop with how Patton was doing along with photos and they became fast friends. Couldn’t have asked for this to go better and would definitely go with Drew in the future!”

Anwar R.

“Omg My Chihuahua loves Anwar. He responded promptly to my booking, sent photos, and communicated throughout the stay. His Place was clean and my dog looked to feel extremely safe and comfortable. Had no issue administering meds and cooking food ( mybdog likes bacon and hotdogs). Will always be my first choice”

Jordan K.

“Jordan was an awesome host for our dog Roxy! She socialized her with the other pets in her household, even her cat, which Roxy was not as friendly with at first. By the end of her stay they were buddies! Jordan made Roxy feel right at home, and sent us text and video updates during her stay. We will definitely plan on calling Jordan again the next time we travel!”

Amy L.

“Amy and her family did a wonderful job of watching my dog, Flicker. They truly create a safe, loving, and attentive environment that is relaxing, fun, and healthy for all pets. Amy asked great questions, was very attentive to all Flicker's needs and routines, and she sent very nice photos each day. It put my mind at ease to see Flicker resting, playing, eating meals, going for walks, and even playing board games with the humans! Amy and co. really went above and beyond, and I feel very assured about having them take care of my pup.”

Elissa S.
About: Hi! My name is Elissa and I live in Bordentown, NJ. I am the proud dog mom of a beagle/hound mix who I adopted almost two years ago. I work full-time from home, so am available to take your pup out as frequently or little as needed. I also have experience taking care of pups who require medications. I have a special place in my heart for pups and have volunteered for years at various rescues, and helped foster dogs until they find their forever homes. Please note if you require boarding that your pup would be staying with me and my dog so it is a requirement that they be good with other dogs. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out. I'm currently working full time from home, so am available for drop-in walks and boarding both on weekdays and weekends. My schedule is relatively flexible and I can work within your needs. While I do not have a yard, I do have two, fenced-in dog parks in my condo complex and plenty of green space for walks.

Jocelyn T.

“Our 30 lb. poodle stayed with Jocelyn last week for a long weekend. Jocelyn was great! She asked a lot of helpful questions about our dog's care before we left and while we were gone she communicated regularly and sent photos which was very nice. If we have a need for short term boarding in the future, we'll be sure to reach out to Jocelyn!”

Lindsey D.

“Winnie always has a great time with Lindsey! Lindsey sends lots of updates and adorable pictures. I know Winnie is looking forward to the next time she gets to visit!”

Jackie M.

“Jackie is the best sitter for your dog if you need peace of mind, safety, love, accountability, and everything that is needed for a great dogsitter! We were very nervous about leaving our baby and visited many dog sitters before finding Jackie. Immediately we trusted her and saw in her the warmth and attention and professionalism that we needed. She is well knowledged with all dogs and works with you and according to your specific dog's needs. Her home is a perfect environment and she communicates wonderfully. She is a responsible and calm sitter who will present you with zero red flags. Most importantly is the peace of mind you will get knowing that your dog is getting the protection and the love and caring warmth that you can just sense. Affection. Our dog sensed her safety and love and took to her right away (which he rarely does with new people) It is hard to find that peace of mind especially if your dog is a child to you. Trust me completely. Jackie saved us from worry and nothing means more than knowing that your pet will get loved and cared for and treated the way you treat your pet yourself. She is affectionate and sweet and also relaxed enough to allow your dog to sleep with her and take over the home...being "chill" is also important because you dont want your dog to suddenly have strict rules and to be afraid of a new environment with new rules. Jackie is very relaxed and will not be strict or demanding of your dog. She is attentive to the food needs, senior needs, bathroom habits, anything that is needed she attends to. But in a gentle and correct way. We didn't want our dog to suddenly be in a strict environment with a strict new person. She provides the opposite. Just a safe and loving home... but with a sitter that watches your dog and provides the care ..not halfway but whole and responsibly. I am a worried and concerned and judgemental dog mom who wanted only the best for our baby. I was naturally wary of who I was choosing since it meant so much. So believe me completely when I tell you that if you are discerning too ..but want a wonderful, warm, safe, professional environment for peace of mind and a good home while you are away so you dont have to call a million times and worry and wonder... Jackie is the answer. We will leave him with her in a heartbeat again without any worries. Nothing can buy peace of mind and trust. She was a true find for us. We got lucky.”
