“Courtney is absolutely wonderful! She took the time to have a meet and greet at her house with Ellie before her first visit alone. She is friendly conscientious and so careful and kind with Ellie who has a lot of anxiety! She is also flexible—when I had to arrive an hour later than planned due to a vet appointment she was very understanding. I feel lucky to have found her and already have more dates booked with her!”

“I had my high energy golden stay with Camila and Omar for the day while in town for business. They took 44 photos, updated me throughout the day, and my dog slept the entire 3 hour ride home. I would give 6 stars if I could.”

About: What sets me apart is my combination of genuine love for animals and a strong medical background. I’ve cared for newborn puppies, senior dogs, and pets with special needs, so I understand how to monitor behavior, appetite, energy levels, and subtle signs that something may be off. I’m especially comfortable with young pets who need patience and structure, as well as senior pets who require gentler handling and close observation. I stay calm under pressure, follow instructions carefully, and prioritize safety at all times. Beyond experience, I truly bond with the animals I care for. I don’t just “watch” pets, I pay attention to their personality, their routines, and what makes them feel secure. Pet care is something I intentionally build my routine around. As I transition from the Dominican Republic to the U.S., caring for animals has become both a meaningful part of my daily life and a professional commitment. As a medical doctor, I’m naturally attentive, observant, and detail-oriented. I organize my schedule to ensure pets receive consistent attention, timely feedings, walks, playtime, and any specific care instructions their owners provide. I’m comfortable monitoring behavior, appetite, and energy levels, and I remain calm and proactive if something seems off. Caring for animals isn’t something I squeeze in, it’s something I prioritize. When caring for pets, I focus on maintaining their normal routine and environment to reduce stress and keep them comfortable. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding schedules, walks, medications (if needed), and any specific habits or preferences. As a medical doctor, I’m attentive to detail and observant of subtle changes in behavior, appetite, or energy levels. I remain calm, organized, and proactive, always prioritizing safety and hygiene. I’m also very respectful of my client’s space, keeping everything clean, secure, and just as it was left. My goal is to provide dependable care so both pets and owners feel completely at ease.
About: With a lifetime of experience caring for both cats and dogs—plus my own furry friend—I offer a deep understanding of pet needs and behaviors. Growing up with cats and looking after family dogs has given me valuable skills in providing loving, attentive care that ensures your pets feel happy and comfortable while you're away. I work from home Monday to Friday, allowing me to provide flexible day care for your pets. I’m also available for overnight stays on weekends with advance notice, ensuring your pets receive attentive care and companionship whenever you need it. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I live in a spacious apartment with ample room for your pet to explore and play. My friendly small dog is great with other pets, creating a welcoming environment where your furry friend will feel secure and at ease.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Battle Monument
Davina was wonderful. Maggie and Jetty were well taken care of and were happy and tired when we picked them up. Davina went above and beyond to make sure we were kept informed about our ladies and even gave them some homemade treats. We highly recommend her!
Very nice family. Took good care of my pets for a few hours. They provided me with photos and an update. My dogs were calm and happy when i picked them up. I am in search of a permanent pet sitter for my dogs, however i would definitely book this family again.
