“Danielle was outstanding! Her updates were detailed and brought smiles to our faces during our wedding/honeymoon trip. Our cats were immediately comfortable with her and she followed care directions precisely. She went above and beyond, even leaving us flowers to congratulate us on our marriage. We are so thrilled with Danielle and although we always feel sad to leave our kitties during a trip, we now know that they are in superb hands with Danielle and will rebook in a heartbeat. Thank you!!”

“Tessa is awesome. She helped me out with very late notice and was very communicative + attentive. She took great care of my two cats (who come with complex dynamics) and everything was in great shape when I returned!”

“Kaylynn took wonderful care of our cat. We felt great knowing he could rely on her and she gave us the best updates and photos each day.”

“Vanessa was wonderful! She offered to come meet our kitty beforehand which was very helpful. Our cat can be a little challenging to care for at times, but Vanessa had a great attitude about it all. We’d love to hire her again the next time we need a sitter.”

“Briana was great! She took great care of my babies. They loved her! She kept me posted every day how things went with them and sent me lots of pictures too. I will definitely be requesting her for my next time away!”

About: Growing up, dogs were always a big part of my life. My Border Collie showed me the importance of getting a dog all the exercise they need! Let me help you get some of those doggie zoomies out with a walk around the neighborhood. As a pet parent, I know how hard it is to leave your pet behind. I hope to ease your worry away by knowing your pet is in the best hands and I will treat them as one of my own. I have past experience fostering dogs from the SPCA and hope to put my skills to good use in your home! Currently, I work a full time job which has kept me from getting a dog of my own. However, I am available before 7:30 am and after 4:30 pm on week days. I am openly available on weekends and would love to spend time with your pets! My pets are my number one priority! If they could talk they would say they are two of the most spoiled cats out there. I have always had a passion for animals and making sure they get the best care. This means understanding each individual animals needs and catering to them to ensure they are comfortable and happy.

“Jeremy did a great job taking care our two cats with lots of great photos.”

“Hannah helped my little family out tremendously when she agreed to help with our diabetic cat, Jasper, last minute. She was quick to respond and detailed in her communication with us. Although our cat was difficult and afraid, she was still able to administer his insulin injection and make sure he ate food with it. This was thanks to her training and experience with scared animals.”

“Jess watched our 3 dogs for a whole weekend and they loved her! She was very accommodating when I needed to change drop in times around and made sure to give my pups extra love since we extended our trip. We will definitely be hiring her again!”

About: Over the past two years, I have been responsible for pet sitting for friends, family, and neighbors. I enjoy caring for dog and cats of every kind. I am a local soccer coach that teaches only a few sessions a week. Available at almost all times of the day this summer up until August 16th. I have been responsible for feeding, walking, and entertaining dogs. I also feed the cats and take clean their litter box whenever it is needed.

About: As the child of two veterinarians, I have spent my whole life around many different kinds of animals, learning how to read and care for them. I have cared for two dogs and a cat at home my whole life, and been trusted by my neighbors to pet sit for them since I was 15. I work part-time doing research at Bates College and have a very flexible weekday schedule to take care of your furry friends during the day. I can take dogs for long and short walks; or I can come over and play, or throw a ball with your pets to get their wiggles out.

“Savannah is amazing! She came to visit and Bibiza fell in love with her immediately!! She is very punctual, knowledgeable, and trustworthy! I highly recommend her as a new addition to your pets life!!!”

About: I grew up with dogs and cats in my home, so caring for animals has always been second nature to me. I started my pet care journey at 15, going all over my hometown to look after people’s pets, and I’ve loved it ever since. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs, cats, birds, snakes, and even horses. I have alap spent time volunteering at different shelters both in my home state and Virginia. Each animal brings a unique experience, and I always enjoy the chance to connect with them and give them all the attention and love they need . I have a pretty flexible schedule, I am available most afternoons and evenings throughout the week. I am available after 6:30 AM and before 5 PM. I have a large fenced in yard where your pet can play lots of games and get exercise. If your pet prefers to be crated that’s not problem, but if they prefer to be out, that’s okay too!

“Erica is a lover of all animals!!! Not only was she a member of the “dukes for dogs” club at JMU, she also fostered a very nervous, closed-off dog, and built a strong relationship with him that brought him out of his shell and made him willing to trust again! I fostered a dog at the beginning of the school year and she always reached out to ask to play with him and watch him if I needed to leave to run errands! She also did the same when I took in a friends dog. Erica is extremely reliable, communicative, and attentive, as well as extraordinarily caring! I would happily trust her with any pet of mine knowing they are in safe, loving hands!”

Molly D.

“I highly recommend Molly as a pet sitter. She grew up in a family with dogs and cats, and as I have known her all her life, I can attest to the devotion and love and joy that she shows for animals. She owns a beagle named June and just last week celebrated the dog's birthday at the local dog park with hats and treats for all dogs in attendance! Molly is a responsible, hard-working, young adult who will be an asset to the Rover team. She has had experience with dogs of all temperaments. Molly is patient and kind. She worked as a nanny during college and will bring the same loving care to animals that she showed to children. Molly is currently taking classes for teacher certification for the state of Virginia. Working for Rover.com is an excellent fit for her class schedule. There is no one more qualified than Molly for taking care of the pets of others. Please give Molly the consideration she deserves. Thank you!”
