“This was my first trip and leaving my dog with someone. Amber could not have been better as a dog sitter. She sent me pictures throughout the day and kept me updated on how my dog was doing.”

“I can’t recommend Kelly enough! He was incredibly responsive and accommodating, even with my last-minute request. He was thoughtful in understanding Rambos behavior and needs during drop off and kept me updated with frequent photos throughout the week. His dog Jasper was wonderful with Rambo and they seemed to be having so much fun running in the huge backyard and playing together. It was clear Kelly cared about my pups wellbeing and ensured he had an abundance of attention, exercise and playtime. I felt at ease knowing Rambo was in such good hands!”

“Ronald watched our dog jack while we were out of town and provided excellent service and communication. Jack is older and had been coming off an illness so we were worried about leaving him but we were given much comfort with the care provided! We would recommend Ronald to anyone in the area!”

“This was our first time leaving our dogs with a rover sitter, and we are super glad we went with Justin! He did a great job making our fur babies comfortable while we were away, we will definitely be using him again for our future sitting needs!”

“Gracie is the BEST! My original sitter canceled last minute, and she swooped in within an hour to save the day (and my birthday trip). She sent lots of great pictures, her house was very clean, and she was the perfect mix of professional and friendly. Her husband was just as kind and welcoming. I can’t recommend Gracie enough — if you’re looking for someone to watch your Dog go with her.”

“Pennie and Selene felt right at home thanks to Jennifer and her family taking such good care of them. She kept me updated throughout the whole four days with pictures. There’s nothing that compares to that sense of comfort knowing your fur babies are taken care of like family. Jennifer and her family gave us that sense of comfort. I highly recommend them!”
“Gloria was amazing with my dog! I can tell he had so much fun and I had a peace of mind knowing Gloria and her sweet family were watching my dog and playing with him, taking him on walks, making sure he had enough treats and play time. Really great experience communicating with her as well.”

“It felt like family was watching our dog! Radha and Bart were super welcoming, thorough, and communicative the whole time we were gone. They made sure to ask questions regarding Abbey’s “quirks” to ensure she felt right at home. I can’t recommend them enough if you want your pup in trustworthy hands while you’re gone!”

“Cassandra and Jason were AMAZING - the best Rover care we have ever experienced. We booked them for an extended stay on short notice when our initial plans changed. They were so communicative and always sent prompt updates & photos. They took Junie on numerous walks and were always asking about her routine to maintain consistency. We feel so fortunate to have found Cassandra and Jason, and I would recommend them to anyone that wants the best care for their pets. We’ll be sending Junie their way for all future stays!”

“Daniela is such a greater person with dogs! she took care of my Mia for a week after getting spayed. Even though Mia is not trained, Daniela had the patience and the ability to take care of her. She was there for Mia 24/7 since she needed extra care. I definitely recommend her!”

“Patches is by far the best dog-sitter we’ve ever had. She obviously loves animals but she also took the time to reassure us by sending updates and pictures without us even asking. Drop-off and pick-up was a breeze. But, best of all, we could tell our pup was really happy, which made it so much easier to have to be away from him. Thank you, Patches! We’ll be using you again!”

“Artemis doesn’t typically have zoomies at home but when she was boarding with Lilia she had the zoomies. This was clear sign that she had a fun time with Lilia and the other small dogs. Lilia is amazing at taking care of all them and making them feel at home. This was the first time I ever left Artemis with anyone for an extended period of time and I’m so glad Lilia was available to watch her. I highly recommend Lilia and her services!!”

“Ivette was outstanding. She took such great care of our pup (Libby). I think our pup ended up having more of a vacation then we did! She even ended up washing Libby’s blanket. We got a bunch of photos and videos of Libby’s stay. Highly recommend! Would like the opportunity to book with Ivette again.”

Ronald watched our dog jack while we were out of town and provided excellent service and communication. Jack is older and had been coming off an illness so we were worried about leaving him but we were given much comfort with the care provided! We would recommend Ronald to anyone in the area!

We had a wonderful experience with Sara! They took great care of our pup and gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. We really appreciated all the updates and the pictures they sent—it was so reassuring to see our pup happy and well cared for. Communication was excellent, and it was clear they genuinely cared. We would absolutely book with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy, attentive sitter!

Jennifer and her family were amazing with our sweet four year old dog! They kept her on her eating schedule, kept an eye on her inside and out, and were gracious with her, even when she woke up in the middle of the night. It is so amazing to have someone that you know is going to take such good care of your pet when you need to leave them.

Amanda and her husband loved my boy Elvis as if he was their own and he had a wonderful time playing with their dog for the weekend while I was away. I always hate leaving my pets when I travel but knowing he was in such a loving environment took away so much worry. I’ll definitely be having them watch Elvis again. Highly recommend!

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
