About: My life has been full of animals since the very beginning! From a young child my family began to raise parrots such as: African grays, Cockatoos, and Amazon parrots. We also had exotic fish, turtles, lizards, and ferrets throughout my growing up years. That all led up to my years of working at a reptile zoo and bird sanctuary in South Dakota in my early 20’s. Although I don’t work at a zoo anymore, I use the knowledge I’ve learned to teach my 3rd grade class at a private school here in South Austin. Now I enjoy a free roaming bunny and well trained parakeets that think they own the place! Until school is over (which is only a couple weeks away!) I can definitely help out in the evenings, but my schedule will become more flexible during the summer! Because my home is very small, it is not suitable for a dog that needs space to run; however, I would be willing to keep your pet in the comfort of its own home.

About: I have had pretty big dogs my whole life. I absolutely love dogs and would love to meet yours! I have a warm home with comfy beds! I do enjoy walking around and exploring. I cared for my childhood dog and helped her with everything in her older age as well as my adult pup into his old age! Looking forward to meeting your pup! Currently I am in the office two days a week and work from home the other three days. I live near my office so will come home and check on pups at lunch! Based on what the dogs loves to do! In my home, i have a nice grass area right outside of my apartment and we have a dog park. But there is also a great walking path. My apartment is townhouse style so only one set of stairs to go up

“Claudia was so great! We have 3 medium to large dogs and she cared for them overnight. You can really tell Claudia has tons of experience with dogs and loves them. One of our dogs had just got neutered recently and she followed all care instructions, giving him extra attention! We look forward to hiring her again!”

Pets deserve top tier care, they need to feel loved and cared for. I can provide that care. I work evenings, so I am available during the day, and overnights. I work shorter shifts than most (5-6 hrs). I can make sure your pet is taken care of Clean up any messes left behind by me or the pet. Try to leave a place better than I found it. Make sure food and water are stocked.
