About: I’ve had pets since I was a kid and have always had a very large role in taking care of them. I love animals of every kind, and always have so much fun taking care of them. I’ve watched my family and friend’s animals many times, and always make sure to send lots of updates on how they are doing, as well as providing the best care! I have worked at a vet hospital as a receptionist, and in that role have had a lot of hands on experience with animals. It taught me how to work with every animal, and was one of my favorite jobs. I’m currently working as a substitute teacher, and am usually able to make my own schedule, which gives me the flexibility for all of your pets needs! I always make sure to read all care instructions through so that I can understand them so that your pet is getting the best care possible. I also am someone who will always take a gentle approach with your pet, creating trust between us. That trusting relationship is very important for all situations. I will always respect your space, making sure to leave it exactly how I found it!

“If I could give Paul 12 stars I would. We had planned for months to secure a sitter for our dogs (one w special needs) which fell through last minute. We found Paul literal days before our trip out of the country for over a week. Let me count the ways in which we unintentionally threw him curve balls: - my laptop broke right before leaving and he had to manage a delivery from my company - only a day in my sister had an emergency (no heat) and her entire family had to move in! We kept Paul on during the day while my sisters family stayed overnight. - my sister also had a dog and we had to add an additional dog to the scope. Also, it was a great Dane! No small ask. - there was a huge snowstorm and he couldn't even drive down the road! With every single bump, Paul stayed calm, professional, and communicative. He far surpassed our expectations and we feel like the chaos and unexpected issues helped to create a deep sense of trust in Paul. We would absolutely hire him again and we would encourage anyone reading this to hire him immediately. Needless to say, my dogs absolutely worshipped him as well. Hero.”

About: Hello! I'm Selena, a student at Skidmore college, doing research over the summer. Back home, I'm the owner of one dog as well as two cats, and I regularly dog sit for my friends and family members. My love of animals is well known and I'm always their go-to for pet sitting, as they know I'm always happy to do it. My current Bernedoodle has been with me since she was just a puppy, so I'm very aware of how much care and attention puppies need. I've also cared for dogs on the older side, and I'm open to dogs of all ages and sizes! Caring for pets is very important to me, so much so that when I do not have an animal to care for (i.e. when I'm alone at school), I become very sad. Growing up, taking care of animals every day was very important to me. I am unfortunately a college student living in on-campus housing, so I am unable to care for pets in my own space. However, I make sure pets are happy in my client's home and makes sure to keep the space maintained well!

About: As a veterinary student, I feel confident in fulfilling your animals needs. From long term dog sitting or daily walks, I currently have a pretty open schedule. I have extensive experience with reactive dogs and can work with them on their confidence. While not a professionally trained dog trainer, I am happy to work with them while walking them. My schedule is pretty flexible to what your animal needs. I am available to stay overnight if needed. I can give up to 4 walks during the day and give them a long walk up to 30 minutes. I would treat them as my own and make sure they get comfortable with me. I make sure they get a daily long walk as well as potty breaks throughout the day. For boarding, I will make it as close to their normal daily routine as possible.

“It is not easy to care for a puppy but Kim nailed it. My puppy barked at her first then wanted to play and snuggle with her during the pet sitting days. Normally my puppy won't even let people pet her. I felt comfortable leaving my puppy with her. Kim didn't mind sleeping on the couch and also left the house the way it was. We will definitely book her again in the near future.”

I have spent as much of my life as I can remember caring for and being around all types of animals. Honestly being around animals just makes me the happiest I could be. I have 5 rescue animals of my own! 2 dogs, 2 Cats, and a bird! All of which I rescued not from a shelter but by very happy coincidences! About: I am currently attending Long Island University College of Veterinary Medicine to become a veterinarian! I have experience in pet sitting as well as hospital settings including boarding and being a veterinary assistant. I have provided care for a variety of animals from dogs and cats to goats and chickens! I have experience with all kinds of breeds and different personality types like skittish or reactive pets. I grew up rescuing and fostering animals so my animal experience has been my whole life. Professionally I’ve worked with animals for 6 years. While I am currently in school my schedule is limited to weekend availability. I may be able to do week night care like drop in feedings or walks.
