“Wonderful experience. I have 2 large dogs who I am always very nervous to leave. They both mean the world to me. Not everyone is good with large dogs. Amanda was not only Great with both dogs. I was always notified when she was at the house. She always sent me pictures and status on how they where doing. As I work from home, they are not alone often. So knowing how they where doing was very important to me. I finally found someone I feel comfortable leaving them with one the rare occasion, I do travel or a dropbye visit when the unexpected happens. I will definately use Amanda again.”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats! Very familiar with both big and small breeds. We have a 6 year old yellow lab, Bodhi, who is extremely friendly and obedient. We could easily give lots of love and attention to some more animals!! I’m currently a stay-at-home mom to two kids. We’re home a lot, always out in our backyard playing. My weekly routine revolves around them and their school schedules, but for the most part I am at home. I have a large fenced in backyard in a safe neighborhood. We have motion sensor lights and camera in both the front and backyard. We also have baby gates up all around the house with garbages and cabinets all baby proofed as well! Super safe environment, nothing unsafe they can get into. We can crate or just separate and give them their own space with baby gates. We also have a nice cool finished basement that’s set up like a spare bedroom with king size bed and tv if that’s more their style :)

About: Hello! I'm Selena, a student at Skidmore college, doing research over the summer. Back home, I'm the owner of one dog as well as two cats, and I regularly dog sit for my friends and family members. My love of animals is well known and I'm always their go-to for pet sitting, as they know I'm always happy to do it. My current Bernedoodle has been with me since she was just a puppy, so I'm very aware of how much care and attention puppies need. I've also cared for dogs on the older side, and I'm open to dogs of all ages and sizes! Caring for pets is very important to me, so much so that when I do not have an animal to care for (i.e. when I'm alone at school), I become very sad. Growing up, taking care of animals every day was very important to me. I am unfortunately a college student living in on-campus housing, so I am unable to care for pets in my own space. However, I make sure pets are happy in my client's home and makes sure to keep the space maintained well!

By the time I was 9, I had adopted a shelter dachshund and raised two more dachshund puppies, bringing my total to five dogs at once. Although my cats are super shy and wouldn’t be social and play, Jack sent a daily pick to reassure me they were fine. I’ll definitely rebook with Jack should I need to travel again.”

About: 20 plus years experienced caretaker. I've rescued, fostered and adopted senior pets, pregnant mamas, puppies and the like. I have experience with walks, overnights, administering meds, wound care and of course snuggles. I work a pretty flexible part time schedule of afternoon and early evening hours a few days a week that allows me to schedule visits as needed to accommodate your pets schedule. However I am instructed to do so by the owner. In my home, I have a fenced in yard, there is also a dog park in the community. I have animal crates if needed. Large and small depending upon what is needed. I also have a silly dog of my own at home as a companion.

About: I just lost my 13.5 year old shepherd, I have been skilled in taking care of him and his old age and needs, I spent his whole life training him in German and English. I spend all day with dogs and know dog behavior very well, I have worked in boarding facility’s giving meds and food and walking dogs and learning their specific personalities. I groom dogs during the week when I’m done working I am free and certain days i have free time to care for others loved babies Care for your pets in your home where they are safe and happy, teach me how you and they like to be loved and cared for and I will always follow every direction given.

About: I’ve had pets my entire life. I am a full time mom so I can’t commit to anything long term, but would be happy to do something every once in awhile. I can run and play and walk with your pet. I’ll talk to them and treat them with respect. I’ve had dogs and cats and have helped my sister take care of her pet bearded dragon. I’ve also helped taken care of a hamster and a hedge hog. I had a pet frog growing up that I also took care of. I have a large yard, so if needed I can bring your dog here to play and run for a little bit. I also live near Saratoga State Park - a great place to walk your dog. My oldest daughter is in school, so it’s just me and my almost 3 year old. I’m available all day during the school hours but I will have my daughter with me. I can do a quick drop in or walk after my husband gets home in the evenings. I will let the pets come to me first and won’t push anything. I’m calm and patient. I will match the pets energy level and make sure they have the proper amount of exercise needed. I can feed and water and let pets outside. If I can’t always walk them because I have my daughter with me, I can make sure to let them run outside and play fetch or whatever they like to play.
