About: I’ve had 3 dogs my entire life, all with completely different personalities. I enjoy the energy they give off and the unconditional love they provide. I’ve had experiences with elderly dogs and puppies, so I understand if there’s any special needs that have to be taken care of. I current work morning shifts and attend morning classes on campus so I will be occupied early in the day but if you’ll be out all day I can definitely do drop ins and walks later in the afternoon/evening so they can get their exercise and attention. I want to make sure I have a firm understanding of your pets personality and know if they get startled easily or if they can get too rowdy. I can handle rowdy, just not be surprised with it. I also want to be on top of any medication they need to be taking of there’s any specific routes we need to take on walks.

“"Meredyth has been an amazing dog walker for my dog! She is not only incredibly nice and friendly, but also very responsible and accommodating. Meredyth always ensures that my dog gets the exercise and attention he needs during their walks. She is prompt, reliable, and communicates well, providing updates and addressing any concerns. I truly appreciate her dedication and care for my dog. I highly recommend Meredyth as a dog walker!"”

About: Hi there! I’m Camille — a pediatric ICU nurse and lifelong animal lover with a deep appreciation for what it means to trust someone with your pets. As a nurse, compassion and attention to detail are second nature to me — and I bring that same energy to pet care. I grew up surrounded by animals, and recently said goodbye to my sweet dog Milo, a border collie with endless energy and the biggest heart. He taught me everything about what high-energy dogs need — mental stimulation, routine, love, and lots of exercise. I also had two cats, Morty and Dewey, who were my snuggle buddies and brought so much comfort during life’s hardest moments. My cat Bandit is still with me — a little spicy but slowly becoming more affectionate every day 🖤 Whether your pet is outgoing or shy, high-energy or low-key, I’m here to meet them where they are with patience, love, and genuine care. I’m confident with medications, senior pet care, and building trust with more anxious animals. I know how hard it is to leave your pets behind — I’ve been there — so I’ll treat yours like my own and keep you updated every step of the way. As a pediatric ICU nurse, I work a few long shifts each week, which means I have several days off in between to dedicate to pet care. On my days off, I love spending time outside and staying active — and there’s no better way to do that than with a furry friend by my side! Whether it’s walks, playtime, or quiet visits for cuddles and check-ins, I genuinely enjoy building pet care into my routine. It brings me joy, balance, and a sense of purpose outside of the hospital. I’m reliable, flexible, and committed to making sure your pets feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, my approach is always rooted in empathy, consistency, and safety. I take time to learn your pet’s routine, preferences, and personality — because every animal is different, and I want them to feel as comfortable and cared for as possible while you’re away. In your home, I’m respectful of your space and your pet’s schedule. I’ll follow feeding instructions closely, provide medication if needed, and make sure your pet gets plenty of play, walks, or calm companionship depending on their needs. I’ll also keep you updated with messages and photos so you never have to wonder how they’re doing. When pets stay in my home (for those who allow it), they get a peaceful, cozy environment with lots of attention and a calm vibe. I’m especially mindful with shy or high-energy pets, using positive reinforcement, enrichment activities, and a gentle approach to help them feel at ease. With my background in nursing, I’m extra vigilant about changes in behavior, eating, or energy — and I’m comfortable administering medications or providing senior pet support if needed. Your pet’s well-being is my top priority!

“Katie is absolutely the best! We are moving out of state and we will all miss her dearly after 3+ years of caring for our pup. We hope to find another person who can provide the same level of care and love for our boy. If you are looking for pet care, look no further!”

About: Began working in animal hospitals when I was 12… many years of animal care! I hold a doctorate in a public health field, also a degree in animal sciences/pre-veterinary medicine (was accepted into multiple veterinary schools) & a couple masters (all science/health). I recently moved, which is an opportunity to return to caring for fur-babies. I know what it’s like to need someone to care for my pets & provide what I looked for: reliability, responsiveness, & enjoys being with animals. I am happy playing with active pets, patient with those who need to warm up, & love to cuddle the couch loungers. I have experience with animals from birth to senior years & various health conditions. I follow your directions as you know your pet(s) best. From cuddles and walks to surgery and inpatient care - I have experience: professionally & from family pets. In addition to working in pet hospitals, I have had my own pets, from small to very large (other animals in photos… Rover is only for dog/cat/housesitting & I have to abide by TOS). I look forward to bonding with your fur-family members so you can relax with the assurance your pets are in good hands. Hablo español (Costarricense) I am currently 100% dedicated to caring for your fur-babies. My daughter lives on her own (in college), so there are no children or pets in my home. This is my daily & weekly routine :) I follow your instructions for your pet(s). Crate-trained, or ok to roam? Do your pets sleep with you? I am adaptable. I prioritize housesitting (and do longer stays!) as pets are often more comfortable in their own home. That isn’t always possible so I board small, medium, and large dogs (large on a case-by-case basis). There is a mini dog-park here so your dog can run or go for walks, there’s lots of green space! I recently moved to the area so am in an apartment, but also am a homeowner, so understand entrusting your home to a house-sitter. Safety & a good experience for your pet(s) is my priority.

“Linda is so great! I recently torn my meniscus and didn’t know if anyone could help with my pup on short notice. I message Linda and she was kind and is helping me all week!”

About: I've taken care of dogs for over 15 years. Currently taking care of a 14 year old Black Lab mix that is a family dog and I love all ages! I work remotely and looking to help care for dogs during my slow times at work. I am available M-F 8am-9pm to walk, visit, or take dogs out. Happy to accommodate for special requests if needed. I work remotely so I have a lot of flexibility. People have called me the dog whisper as I've never found a dog that doesn't like me, no matter how nervous, anxious, or scared they might be.

About: I've had a dog since I was 13 years old and have loved animals for as long as I can remember. I have ridden horses my whole life so have a lot of experience with not only horses, but also barn cats and dogs. Whenever I visit a friend's house, I greet their pets almost as soon as my friends themselves. I recently moved to CLT and have a very flexible schedule with my 9-5. I am available on weekends but timing can vary. I am available via phone for regular communication. I have experience watching dogs as well as cats and I am very gentle and patient. I am willing to take extra time if necessary to make sure your pet feels comfortable in my care. I am hyper aware of your pets safety and promise to secure all leashes and harnesses before a walk. Will also keep an eye out for potential dangerous situations while out on walks.

About: I've always felt comfortable around pets—whether they belong to family, friends, or neighbors. I also spent a year fostering a golden lab, helping her train weekly for future service work. It was a hands-on, rewarding experience that taught me the importance of consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement. I work a full time position and am required to be in office Tuesday-Thursday, but have flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Friday and weekends! I will be respectful of your home and ensure your pet is comfortable. I love being outdoors and going for walks if that is part of your pet’s routine, and I’ll be sure they get quality time and care!
