About: I have been surrounded by animals my entire life and have years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all kinds. My father has owned and operated a dog training/boarding business for over 14 years, and I grew up helping him with the daily care and responsibilities that come with working with dogs. I currently work part time as a kennel technician at Hickory Small Animal Hospital in Ponchatoula, where I help care for pets staying in the boarding facility. This experience has made me comfortable caring for dogs with different personalities, routines, and individual needs. I also have extensive experience with horses and regularly help care for horses and assist with barn responsibilities for several owners. I understand how important it is to have someone you can trust with your pets. I strive to provide dependable, attentive, and loving care while making sure every animal feels safe and comfortable while their owner is away. I am a college student with a flexible schedule, which allows me to make pet care a priority. I also work part time, but I am able to plan my schedule around bookings and make sure each pet gets the time, attention, and care they deserve. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I have a fenced in yard where dogs can safely play and get plenty of outside time. I also have a friendly dog of my own who can provide some company and playtime! I’m a loving and dependable dog person with plenty of hands-on experience caring for pups with all kinds of personalities and needs. 🐶❤️ I have experience caring for dogs with allergies and special care needs, giving dog baths, and keeping up with hyperactive, high-energy dogs who need lots of attention, playtime, and patience. I’ve also spent plenty of time around Labradors, so I understand just how energetic, loving, and sometimes mischievous they can be! I’m also a proud dog owner myself and currently have two dogs of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your fur babies. I treat every dog like they’re part of my own family and will make sure they receive plenty of love, attention, exercise, and care while you’re away. 🐾 Your pets’ comfort and safety are always my top priority. 💕🐕 I work Monday–Friday from 8 AM–5 PM, but my fiancé is home at times throughout the day and can let the dogs out when needed. We also have two dogs of our own, so we understand how important it is to make sure your pup is comfortable, cared for, and never left without attention for too long. We’ll treat your dog like one of our own and make sure they get the care, love, and potty breaks they need while you’re away! ❤️🐶 We love on the back of family property so there is ample amount of space to run around and play. About: I’ve been around and caring for dogs for as long as I can remember, and caring for animals has always been a passion of mine. My dream has always been to open a rescue of my own one day! I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and breeds, from Yorkies to Dobermans. “Mary is amazing! First time working together snd meeting pups. It was like a 3 ring circus here with the dogs on special diets and the lust of medications they were currently taking. She could have easily run in opposite direction but took us and the girls on last week with a calming presence, grace and humor. She went above and beyond taking great care of the dogs and even meeting chimney service because we had a squirrel squatter. We couldn’t have gotten thru last werk without Mary. After a very long day and travel delays we got home to the most thoughtful letter and surprise. We are so happy and blessed to have met Mary. I can also board your fur babies and also stay in your house overnight as needed.

Mostly off on Mondays-Wednesday. Off on weekends and will to work on weekends Willing to bring your crate if needed. I do not have a fenced in yard. Will clean house once it is the last day to make sure it looks the way you left it.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
